The install starts at 5:45 - Great video! I'm looking at using the same pins on my 2006 G35 coupe, so this was really helpful

I really like how they look, they’re pretty stealthy and don’t strain the eye away from the carbon, nice vid bro

Just did these on my z since they looked good on yours. Pins were definitely a little tricky to get set right with the steep angle. But overall very pleased!

did you have to bend the pins right over as well?

Dig the look, are you planning to remove the factory latch system, or using them as a backup latch/ style add-on?

As back up security. Would hate the resin to break on the hook and the hood just fly up. Love the clean look without but read on the forums of people having bad luck and the hood flying up but read others where there wasn’t any issues at all for years. So more for the peace of mind it won’t fail.

Just wondering. How did you bend the two lil bars? Seems super difficult.

Just tapped them lightly with a hammer after they were bolted in.

So how does the lock part stick to the hood .. cause I seen you just drop them in ..?

Comes with a large nut to tighten underneath. That's the reason for the larger holes on the bottom (so your fingers can get up there to tighten)

Pointless if you have A normal working hood.

We’ll if you used your eyes I don’t have a normal hood. So not pointless. But thanks for leaving a pointless comment.
