Just picked mine up yesterday. Went on a 60 mile ride as soon as I got home. NEVER been on a bike before. It was that easy. I'm an avid ATV/UTV rider, and I've never had that much fun. I'm 6'0" 230 and I comfortably went 40-43mph on the flat. 50+ mph downhill. Uphill was a little struggle. Drops down to about 30ish mph. But they were steeeeep hills. Absolutely loved the ride.
Have never ridden a motorcycle, or scooter in my entire life. That said, your videos have helped solidify that I want to start, and with the Navi. Currently saving up for one, and plan to do part time deliveries. I've been using my car which gets 16mpg and takes premium gas lmao so I need something else. Thanks for the update and content!
I live in Panama. The key to this motorcycle is the price. We pay 1550 down here out the door. No hidden extra charges. Price includes includes sales tax and a helmet. You can talk about features if you want but the key is the price. They are dependable and cheap. I see them all over the place being used mostly as delivery bikes or courier bikes. Price is everything.
Great review. I am at 3700 miles on mine and would agree with everything for the stock setup, I did clutch and variator upgrades made the bike so much nicer to ride on hills and traffic. You need to do a video of upgrading the roller weights, super cheap and super easy to do and I think you would see a big difference in your area especially for hills.
@getphatfood aww your not that big. Its also possible that they brakes have gotten glazed in the past from getting too hot. When that happens you often need to get the brakes and drum resurfaced. If the brake pad or drum look shiny in some spots and not mat all around it could be a sign. I knew people who would blow stoplights going down hill until they where able to get it resurfaced.
@@pleasedontwatchthese9593 good advice! I just got them checked from my mechanic. He says they’re all good. He said my Navi brakes still have a looong way to go. I tighten them up once a month or so. You can tell when the “spongy” feeling gets worse and it’s not as tight
I gave up my $1,600 varla stand up scooter which also did around 40mph and was electric for the Honda Navi, i weigh about 104lbs and got the Honda navi up to 54mph on the straigh of way....but! that muffler thingy got really really HOT going a slight down hill full throttle it got all the way up to the speedo limit..but the muffler also got really hot again. OH im a kid and we dont have to register this where i live but people who live in cities i think have to get plates and tags for it. OH also if you are light weight and go that fast you can feel the wind trying to push you off especially in your chest and legs. just f.y.i.
I did the easier stuff. Spent $130 on parts. Went to my moto mechanic, he charged me $100 for my rear tire change and inspection, he checked my brake shoes and tightened up some bolts around the bike.
Actually I do have a moto license. Class C and M. You can’t ride a Navi in Cali without a motorcycle endorsement. You’ll need one even with a Honda Ruckus
California M license from DMV : Class M Licences Class M1: Level 1 of graduated licensing for motorcycles, including limited-speed motorcycles (motor scooters) and motor-assisted bicycles (mopeds). Class M2: Level 2 of graduated licensing for motorcycles, including limited-speed motorcycles (motor scooters) and motor-assisted bicycles (mopeds). So yes, you need an M license in CA even if it’s 50cc. M1 you can ride anything with 2 or 3 wheels and an engine. You can ride dirty if you want, but if you get caught… that’s on you friend. Ride safe!
Thanks for the video. but Im pretty sure Motorcycle enthusiasts can figure out where the gas tank is and the shifter.. Super boring and couldnt watch much of it but nice of you to make it.

Nice! Love these Navis!
This is irrelevant but I love seeing how nice people drive wherever you are. In Miami people do not care about others lives

@shawnsparks8367 If you don't mind me asking, how much did you buy it used and how many miles were on it?
@@captainscottlum2371 $1800 and 450 miles
@@captainscottlum2371I’m buying one today for 1900 used with only 75 miles, the dealers were overcharging so I feel like this is a good deal.
I have 1,200 miles after 2 months of owning it love riding it I take it everywhere 😃.
Do you put any locks on it ??

I will try to film it for sure! I was planning to change my belt, since I’ll be going in there anyway, might as well change my rollers too.
BTW I totally agree with your analysis. Good review!!!
Thanks for watching!
Are your brakes adjusted well? It does not stop as good as a sport bike but it stops as good as a normal bike for me.
It’s probably because of how Phat I am jk

Those mirrors look awesome. You have a link for them?
They’re kenimoto universal mirrors I believe, on Amazon.

How much did you spend on maintenance for the 5000 miles?

my 2022 navi has 11000 miles now ✌️😎
Congrats! 👍
What kind of repairs/maintenance have you done
I'm a Florida Boy and probably won't have to choke much....lol

No one’s going to talk about that roller skater going 300MPh huh?
