I still find fascinating that amber constantly refers to Jhonny as "jhonny' " Love of my life" "My husband" "My soulmate" And Jhonny almost exclusively referred to her as "miss heard"
As a victim of SA I couldn't say his name for a whole year even in therapy, and now I only refer to him in the most short and less affectionate term I can find. It took me years of therapy to be able to admit he was my friend before the S.A
Maybe she loves him regardless cause she knows the drugs have to do with a lot of his actions
Yeah she has no issue looking at him either. When Johnny avoids her presence as much as possible which is what most victims do. They usually won’t look them in the eyes, won’t look in their direction and won’t continue to call them by name.
@@0000AT I'm just talking from personal experience, he had drug problems too but nothing is going to take away how much damage he's done to me, we were both under the influence (me more than him) and he still took advantage of me and used me and I could make excuses in my head but nothing would take away the fact that he did that to me
Let's all try to give our opinions about this case without making sweeping generalizations about what "real" survivors do. The truth is that there's no standard reaction to DV or SA. These crimes are very common and happen to all sorts of people from all sorts of backgrounds & in all sorts of circumstances.
Just because a survivor doesn't react like you did, or like you think you would, doesn't mean they're lying. A wealth middle-aged married woman on Manhattan's upper Eastside dealing with altercations involving her husband may have a far different trauma response than a high school girl attacked by a stranger in low-income housing.

I can see you have no university education. That is how trauma works. There are parts you can't remember. Sometimes, even years later, you can see some random thing....something not even connected to the actual traumatic event itself...but something about it will serve as a non-threatening reminder (sometimes in a way you might not understand) and a buried memory will come back.
Of course, I don't expect someone like you to believe that. You'd need years of education to lay a foundation of trauma and neurological processing of traumatic events to understand that, and you don't seem to have much education beyond high school, seemingly.

The scenarios she's coming up with are literally like a fight scene in a movie, sliding backwards across a tiled floor after he supposedly pushes her, yeeting her onto a pool table, dragging her up the stairs by the hair, johnny got super human strength by the sounds of it lol.
For someone obsessed with recording and documenting everything, you'd think she would have pictures of bruises and marks. He kicked you in the back and you didn't take a picture of it? But you take a picture of him sleeping??? Pictures of a lamp? Of a guitar? Make it make sense.
She is SO obsessed with recording that she records herself admitting to cutting off his finger. They can't use it for the jury though because it contains audio with like 5 people in it. She admits it to Dr. Kirk and to Jerry Judge both. Then Jerry Judge tells Ben King in the audio what she said. They talk about how manipulative and dangerous she is and she admits to using all kinds of drugs. Basically this audio contradicts everything she says and it can't be used. Its on Incredibly Average's page if you want to hear it though. Its super condemning for her.

She is the perfect example of "Only lies have details". Details of the picture on a book, the filthy carpet, what she was wearing at that time, whether the bottle was round or square is so suspect. Most people would remember the major details of an event but not the exact shade of the paint used on the wall. You don't process a traumatic event with details. Your brain tries its level best to forget it! Also, if she's been manhandled, bruised, thrown around, backhanded, slapped so many times, why isn't there a single hospital record about it. Especially when you claim he shoved a broken bottle in you!
Over explaining to make sure she's believed. Idk what kind of memory she has but who remembers that many details after 9 years.

To be fair though, sometimes in cases that are highly traumatic, people CAN hyper focus on irrelevant details like that. And sometimes they can remember everything in vivid detail.

I can’t believe she’s claiming those photos are a result of the beating she claimed he gave her. She said he was punching her over and over multiple times and dragging her all over the house by her hair. Those photos don’t in any way line up with her description. God she’s just so full of it.

I'm struggling with it because of how embellished and acted it is. I HATE HATE HATE calling her a liar because its awful but its so obvious right now. She frightens me as an abuser, not him.
I didn't have pics of my bruises, I wasn't allowed a phone. I also know I can't remember SOD ALL. I remember snippets here and there because defenses cause you to block out most of it. She remembers where paintings were placed and remembers looking at the dirty carpets... I wish I could tell you in exact sequence but it's just flashes, yet she then describes the whole violent attack...
The whole "I didn't feel pain" and "it didn't physically hurt" comments she made throughput her testimony is very telling. She also has described horrific events that are almost "Die Hard" like. There is no way she could have gotten away with noone seeing the bruises, marks and cuts she would have had from attacks like this.
Especially the "broken nose".

I've asked myself similar things many times when it comes to actors. A good actor identifies with his role for a more or less a few months, sometimes less sometimes longer, and I think that can affect their own lives. I remember Shannon Doherty playing Brenda in Beverly Hills 90210 where she thought or actually had breast cancer. Decades later, she herself had or still has breast cancer, not sure how she's doing... Heath Ledger was going insane over his role of the Joker.. it seems to be dangerous and I'm sure there are more examples like that. Thoughts are very powerful, making yourself believe something even if only to play a character is very powerful, going as far as becoming reality.
There are so many pictures of wine on the walls and other property damage and she spoke about all the broken glass but zero photos of her injuries from glass. Why?

Right? I mean, I worked in a psych hospital. And at any point when we had any inclination to believe that an SA had happened, we immediately sent the patient to the hospital. Granted our urgency was sometimes just to cover ourselves but still. Amber’s own doctor saw her that day and did not send her to the hospital. So obviously he had no reason to believe she was hurt in any way.
Please people, tell me I'm not the only one who was staring at those 'evidence' photos in total disbelief?

Also, why are the pictures taken days after and not closer to the incident? Like wouldn’t you want to document the injuries immediately? … considering she thought she was going to die at his hands, at that point.
I’ve never been involved in domestic violence but I feel she is making a mockery of all people who have been and that is the sad part about it all.

I once fell with my head on a sink. That was one hit without too much force. Had a terrible headache for 10 days after, couldn't move fast without becoming dizzt, terrible swelling and bruises showed all colours of the rainbow for at least a week. First days my eye was swollen so I could barely look through it. I am a man, no baby. And here she is repeatably being beaten to death with nothing showing for it. I can imagine if Johnny hit me with his rings, multiple times I would fall unconcious and would need at least stitches. Unless she's a cartoon character that can explode on frame and the next frame be back in action, her stories don't make sense.
She kept saying that she didn't remember feeling any pain, just hearing him talking to her!!! Despite the many punches were landed on her, and no visible injuries. That's what happens when you made things up in your head. You feel nothing, you just hear things.

It might dull it, but as someone who has been hit and beat up before I definitely remembered the slap and how it felt. But apart from all that we have audio with her admitting to cutting his finger off so anything she says is a lie. The 3rd parties in the audio make it unable to be played for court, but if it were it would be damming. In it she admits to lots of drug use too. Since she knows it can't be used she can continue to say she doesn't use drugs. Convenient.
And she has to have a reason why she never went to a doctor for help and can not show any medical records proving her lies
Cuts on her arms and feet? Beatings, head injuries, throttled and punches? So many assaults? The broken bottle inserted, really? Where are the medical reports and photos of injuries? It is hard to even see the injuries on the alleged head-butt photos. She is not convincing.

@Ria Zanelli yes, I am following. It was already established that the nail polish was aleady in Mr. Kings testimony that is why I didn''t mention it. I believed most people were aware of this fact.
If this would be true, she would have died or at least spent weeks in a hospital. It is just not possible to survive something like this without major injuries.

The cross of Heard is going to be priceless. She's contradicted herself on at least three fairly substantial points, by my count. I don't know what kind of prep. her legal team went through with her, but it's fall-over-laughing funny that, in their motion to dismiss, Heard's lawyers said the plaintiff had to prove Heard wrote the WP Op-Ed, but had failed to do so, and then literally within minutes of the start of Heard's testimony she stated that she wrote the Op-Ed. You just can't make this up. I don't know what law firm these defense attorneys work for, but they're not coming out of this trial looking very competent, regardless of what verdict is returned.

I think AH, her attorneys, and that doctor who testified on her behalf are all going to have a hard time finding work when this is over.
