My favorite is that Johnny Depp broke her nose on the day of the Met gala and the next day she had pictures at the day after party with no broken nose, no swelling, no discoloration, nothing. Picture perfect.

Because that's not what the case is abt. Fundamentally the case is ONLY about whether she was talking abt Johnny in the OP-ed (was it true) AND did he lose income because of of it.
They have legal rights. Each have a certain amount of time to prove their side. The trial will go to completion unless some motion is made to end it earlier, or a deal is reached. I don't see either happening.
If he would have done half of what she said he did, she would have been in the hospital for weeks and with a ton of contusions than the fake pictures she showed. What a liar she is!!!

I don’t think people understand physically how hard it is to lean over and look down while sitting for hours straight. It natural to sit up/look straight ahead. He doesn’t look up at her once. Could you imagine having someone sit there and tell the world all your private details? I couldn't look at her either, because lying, would cause me to want to defend myself. I wouldn't be able to control my anger. It takes a strong person to stay still, and hear things you know are not true... 3 things that are really frustrating me about her statements:
1. All of the stuff she's saying seems so so much exaggerated, and her constant crying on top of that seems like a show.
2. If the things she's claiming Johnny Depp did to her are actually true, then why didn't she file a case against him right then? What exactly was she waiting for?
3. Johnny Depp would never have filed a defamation case against her knowing all of the things she claims he did to her because he would never want the world to know about all those things, but he still did, which makes it clear that none of that stuff actually happened.
Exaggeration or not, those are so heavy beating that she is describing. No nurse or doctor looked at the supposed beatings, marks and there is no evidence of her showing these scars to a medical facility. But all of this is “told” to a therapist. Even therapist has an obligation that if the patient is in danger they call the law enforcement
Either she is trained to hold back her pain and tears, or she would have a hard time stopping crying.

I believe JD fought hard for this trial to be televised for the world to see.
Just looking at both of their testimonies objectively, Johnny’s “version” seems way more realistic, the way he describes certain situations and how he felt and behaved is pretty relatable to people who have been in toxic relationships like that themselves, (especially if one of them is suffering from a personality disorder), whereas Amber’s testimony is so over the top exaggerated and aiming for shock value, almost as if she tried to make everyone and the jury feel so uncomfortable and bad for her to the point where it would make everyone seem as if they were terrible people if they chose not to believe her
as bad of an actress she’s sadly proven to be at this point, she still knows the the tricks of manipulation and tries to do that with the whole world despite all the evidence already depicted against her in court, it’s pretty wild to witness
Oh and remember in the beginning when ambers lawyer said something along the lines of Johnny is going to try to make the trial this grand spectacle soap opera type beat but then she’s the one with the constant horrible acting and script like storytelling
She reacts inappropriately to so many of her own statements, like after she said, "He ran up the stairs." Then she had to stop and "sigh" again, as if that was some kind of shocking event. She doesn't seem to know how a normal person reacts to different things. I suspect she is beyond a narcissistic abuser but actually a sociopath.

It's legal coaching to speak to the jury and ignore the lawyers. At least in cross, it seems weird in direct since your lawyer is on your side. It's like she's reciting a script.
She is an actress, she's telling a story, making it all up. Where is the photographs of her bruising. I came from a war zone with my father from 10 years to 19 years when my mum died. I hate conflict. I move myself from the situation. She should be utterly ashamed of herself because there are children, women out there who are assaulted in their own homes for real. So what if Johnny took drugs & alcohol- it's a free country. I expect he wanted to just get away from her behaviour. This trial needs to get a verdict & put her away.

Her nose looks pretty good considering how many times JD supposedly broke it, and with not a single hospital visit to get these serious injuries attended to. Held down, punched repeatedly, hair torn out with bloody scalp attached, a broken nose, concussion, yet she recovered without a single doctor or nurse attending, without a single hospital visit, and with no visible scars. Hmm almost like it didn't happen.

Her makeup artist released a statement stating she saw no bruises, cuts, visible marks, etc on Amber on the day of the James Corden show. Remember Amber said they used heavy-duty makeup to cover up the injuries? Yeah. How will they cover this one up, Amber?

@@joku6863 from the parts of the cases I've been hearing, her statements have been contradictory at some points, not to mention the faces she makes when looking right at the camera and on the stand. I'm not a psychologist, but I'm pretty sure she's trying to bs everyone with her testimonies, given the body language and her previous statements (I can't recall any specifics, but I think taking a look at the previous days and taking notes of each thing she says should help). As for this one you're talking about, I agree they should bring those two to the stand to clarify about this

Having spent years being married to a violent lying narcissist and questioning my own sanity, I feel for Johnny and relate to so many scenarios and situations that are oh so similar. Women are the more believable victim and men the more plausible agressor when told through the eyes of a narcissist.

The way she tells stories is just bizarre - she's always telling it like she's glamorous, noble, brave, and oh so innocent and she's quick to share details that humiliate him. There's no shame, regret, no genuine admission of her own fallibility. It's quite a contrast with Johnny's testimony. She is very hard to watch. I hate that she has created this situation of people not believing testimony - she's exploiting and betraying all DV survivors.

There are at least two times he allegedly strikes her in the face when she is turned away or face down on the ground.
She said in her testimony "I never landed a blow". The she says she hit him. Rather contradictory!
To clarify, she said that earlier not after... She said "I slapped him across the face" and like an hour later she states: "That was the first time I ever landed a blow..." which she could defend herself saying she meant a punch, but then she adds "Sure I have tried to defend myself, flailed my arms, tried to hit, but never landed anything" so she pretty much contradicted herself without a shadow of a doubt, the cross is gonna be absolutely epic 😁
