@Certified Queen that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. As someone who will be testifying my account of a traumatic, deadly time in my life and has had to to the police already, pausing and going umm is normal because when you’re recounting so much the details don’t always come altogether and at once but at the same time you want to try and make sure everything is mentioned and nothing is left out because it’s all so important. Humans who are remembering something always go umm, or pause whilst thinking of the moment in their mind. Go watch human interactions or humans retelling a memory and it’s a normal occurrence. The fact Amber doesn’t stop to think or go umm, says a lot actually about how rehearsed and scripted this is. That’s what’s not normal.
Also my acting teacher, who knows acting is just living as a human being, says the same.

She expects a jury to believe she's completely innocent, hates drugs, doesn't drink, never fights, never yells and yet we've heard the audios. If she was even somewhat acquainted with the truth there would be nuance, but no. She needs us to believe this is a perfect angel and Johnny is the devil. Not buying it for a minute.
Hates drugs and drink but advises on good cheap wine, gets and is happy about receiving a case of wine, and takes MDMA ON A PLANE with a man she had claimed gets violent when inebriated. Especially involving a flight attendant. WTF

Her testimony is sort of vague...jumping from one instance to another. I feel she is trying to use all the buzz words the experts used.
This is nothing, you should have seen her in the other trial. She literally keeps on chewing her snacks, keeps changing her tune, occasionally so obvious that she had to try to remember what she was supposed to say. I think her experience must have made her slightly better after that but still, she’s never been that good at acting, either in reality or in films.
Exactly that’s what I said. Literally went to the library or even Google search on how to act as a victim and what to say as a victim or maybe she went to visit Jodi Arias behind bars to take notes but still and know she does not know how to feel because she does not have any emotions which is ironic because she’s an actor and usually when you practice for a part you have to get in touch with your emotions.
I grew up with Amber’s type all of my life. Nothing but; drama, manipulation, being violent and blaming others. I just had to cut the ties. I had enough! These types just suck the life out of you!

She is a storyteller. The way she is moving is indicative of a person who is attempting to “convince”or “cause belief” in a story. Not much different than someone who is good at reading stories to children.
While I believe Johnny has gotten frustrated with her, I hear the one-sided, not full story of her accusations. She is saying what she didn’t and she never mentions how things started on her end. I’ve found that the majority of victims will blame themselves a lot prior to state when the perpetrator had done. Her story is focused a lot on the “me” and “I” aspect. Never the accountability. If she were a true victim, we would feel sorry for her regardless of how we may feel about Johnny. We would have the ‘I hate to say/feel it’ reaction. She is far to confident and rehearsed. She has said this over and over in her head to ensure she did not miss details. Anyone who is associated with her should remain cautious. You can tell how she is taking an action such as Johnny grabbing her, and not stating that she may have grabbed and slapped him. I hate saying that because it sounds like victim blaming and making excuses. However, I believe in holding anyone accountable,and I can’t be that attached to celebrities as they do not know me, nor do I know them.
Amber is a truly dishonest person. And that will hurt her. Because in her truth, she is also spewing lies. She is also using definitions of conditions and circumstances to justify. As though everyone with any experience, has the exact same traits and circumstances. She is giving a Google testimony, and it is disgusting.
Also, if you focus on Johnny, he does not want to look at her. This is common of the victim, not the abuser. His brow also furrows as he is confused and does not agree with what she is stating. Where as an abuser or liar would become angered and look at the person to make it appear believable.

Great summary. Agree 100%. This histrionic behaviour from Amber is exactly what Dr Curry diagnosed along with personality disorder. Amber seems to have been seriously coached by Dr Hughes, as she’s using the same vocabulary and defence (throwing things)as Dr Hughes’ earlier testimony when describing a victim of IPV.
I know its hard for human brain to be in the middle rather than in the extremes but couldn’t AH say the truth and JD say the truth too ? Couldn’t they have been abusive to each others and did bad things in each sides ? To me this is probably the most probable outcome
When Johnny answered questions he would look mostly at the person that asked him the question. Meanwhile Amber and Dr. Hughes mostly looked over at the jury. I take that as, Johnny has nothing to to prove so he focused on the lawyers, where as Amber and Dr. Hughes are desperately trying to appeal to the jury by looking at them in hopes of making some sort of connection. Seems incredibly manipulative and matches what is described of Ambers character by others.

You don't understand defamation suits then. This whole thing revolves around that OP-ED. The problem with defamation suits is that they are very hard to prove to what's called "beyond a reasonable doubt". The jury has to have evidence "beyond a reasonable doubt" meaning unbiasedly there is zero possibility he ever touched her. It doesn't matter what she did to him, unfortunately, as this is a defamation suit. Defamation suits very rarely are won because of this. Typically defamation suits are only won with clear "video recorded with audio" evidence. I'm not defending Amber here, I'm just a 2nd year law student telling you how it is. At the end of the day though, Johnny's name has been cleared in "public opinion", which is what really matters. He wanted to get his story and evidence out to the world and he accomplished that. And hopefully get back to the big screen with big roles, doing what he loves. This trial was never about the actual suit or the money in my personal opinion. Johnny's already won, although I'm very convinced, the jury will rule in favor of Amber due to a lack of evidence. This isn't a criminal case, it's a defamation lawsuit. Crossing my fingers regardless Johnny.

Notice how she enjoys judging Johnny Depp's drug habits, basically trying to say he is a bad person for simply having the illness of addiction. Almost as though she is disgusted at his drug use. Yet in the very same breath explains how she also took drugs... but but but I only had ONE pill, he had SEVERAL. In other words "I'm not AS bad as him, I am less bad"... minimising her own drug use because she knows it makes her a hypocrite - it could even make her an enabler, because if your husband has addiction problems and you (as she once mentioned) wanted him to "get better" then why would you encourage the drug use by joining in on the action?

Notice when she slips into saying, "you're walking on eggshells, you don't know what you're doing wrong" rather than the definitive, "I was walking...I didn't know." She's distancing herself from the statements and generalizing them because her mind is telling her it's not a direct lie when phrased that way. Then she corrects her syntax after that because she realizes that doesn't sound like a firm enough statement.
Good point. She also almost said “.. the only one I had an aff… an acquaintance with” when discussing her alleged infidelity, as if slipping into the comfort of truth as she gained confidence. Could have been an honest error, but I don’t know.

If I thought my spouse was going to get violent after using drugs or alcohol, I sure wouldn't use with them! The bruise on her arm was the type of bruise I get from bumping into anything...it didn't look at all like a handprint or a grab. And the fact that she sent it to her Mother...playing a victim to her is strange given that her mother was reportedly afraid of her. As a Mental Health Professional myself, I believe Borderline and Histrionic are likely correct, as she seems to have (from what we've heard from other witnesses) a skewed view of reality and uses fantasy vocabulary to describe the positive part of their relationship.
Now we know what she wrote all the time in trial. She was copying what JD said so she could say the exact same things on stand.

I was suprised when she quoted Johnny word by word what he yelled at her and she even emphasized his voice, like she tried to give an exact copy of how he yelled at her. Remember this was what, 9 years ago? And that was even in the beginning of their "Drama" and a pretty minor claim compared to all the other claims from her, how could she remember such details 9 years later? And than these stories about the Dog stepping on a bee to make it sound more natural.
Secondly, all the people she mentioned, her Mom she texted with, that guy that saw her bleeding nose, passed away. Other possible witnesses like in that flight were on drugs and lastly the kids of johnny who are too young. There is literally nobody yet who could confirm her claims.
Than the picture of her injury. Didnt she say that before that she got slapped MULTIPLE times, heavily in the face while Johnny wears his rings? Yet her face was perfectly fine and she showed some possible "random" injury on her arm.
Lastly, as far as i recall her lawyers tried for 2 weeks to make people believe that her Op-Ed was not in fact written by her. Yet in the first minutes of her testimony she said "the article i wrote", she probably accidently admitted it and hilariously dismissed the work of her defense team for the past 2 weeks when it comes to that Op-Ed

I have to agree. I mean correct me if I’m wrong, but has there ever been anyone that’s corroborated any of her claims, any witnesses? And I don’t mean in this trial, I mean since she started this whole narrative back in 2016? I know her sister testified in the UK trial, but I’d hardly say Whitney is a reliable witness considering there quite a good chance Amber physically assaulted her on at least one occasion that we’re aware of.

This part of her story really rubbed me the wrong way. I think she was using his daughter against him and he was upset about it. Considering all of the other projection, I really got a bad gut feeling about that one as well.
Projection, projection, projection. Rewatch this and imagine her doing the things she's describing and my guess would be you'd be getting the actual reality. The screaming, the exploding, we can all hear on the tapes and it's been established by both witnesses and otherwise that Johnny would do the walking away. She's projecting a lot of her behaviours onto Johnny.
On top of that she went out of her way to try and record Johnny and provoke reactions from him and show how terrible he is with the recordings but the reality is the only person who came out looking like an abuser from those recordings is her.
She's pathetic and disgusting and I hope she gets what she deserves and loses this case.
