I am so afraid of dairy for health but I love it. There has definitely been a war on dairy in most natural health circles due to it contributing to so many chronic diseases and inflammation. I’d love to hear more videos on cheese about all this. I want to love and trust and eat cheese - but it seems risky if you are trying to heal autoimmune. I’d love to know more about your thoughts on this? Is it true cheese is best avoided when trying to heal conditions, or is this an unnecessary war on cheese that we’ve been fed?
I’m fortunate, living in Devon in the UK, to have access to superb local cheeses made by artisans, and the best grass fed beef, lamb and proper organic free-range chicken and eggs. A weekly organic veg box scheme, and the local fish market means we have just some of the best ingredients. Sure, it costs more, but I’d rather compromise in other areas (we don’t have smartphones or expensive streaming subs, games packages etc). Wholesome natural food. Truly, cheese, butter, yoghurt, some of God’s greatest gifts to us
Interesting, partly we live in Kenya on 2000m altitude. Never heard of the high altitude benifits before. Very interesting information. The fast maraton runners from Kenya and Ethiopia are born and raized on high altitude. Always thought that the low oxygen level is what helps them. Because of this video I belive the high altitude diet might play a role aswell.

When I'm not eating seafood, I'll have some non-fat plain Greek yogurt. Regular cheese makes me tired and slow. I think it contains 1.2 micrograms of vitamin B12 per serving and other vitamins. One container of mine contains 90 grams of protein. I've recently read some research suggesting that this yogurt can help to prevent colon cancer because it's probiotic.
These types of cheese are very cultural for me and my family. When we entertain, we always have a sheep cheese ready to share. We believe Pecorino-Romano is the only Italian cheese. And you're right. My grandma was 98. This cheese was one of her staples. Thanks for this video.

As a born & raised "Swiss Girl" I really like that you are not referring to the US cheese as cheese of quality. I love making my own goat cheese ..so delicious
I switched to raw A2/A2 cow dairy products and consume some every day. Love raw A2 Colby cheese. ( Thanks for the Bach cello! )
Long live A2: from all goats, all camels, all sheep, and A2 cows.
Also curious about this
Look into A2 dairy. It's a game changer.
Truly, cheese, butter, yoghurt, some of God’s greatest gifts to us
Maggie that’s fantastic. Is that all from one farm shop and do they do online postal delivery within UK ?
Which part of Devon ?
That's great. Stay safe and healthy!
I live in Devon!
Who do you buy from?😊
Interesting, partly we live in Kenya on 2000m altitude. Never heard of the high altitude benifits before. Very interesting information. The fast maraton runners from Kenya and Ethiopia are born and raized on high altitude. Always thought that the low oxygen level is what helps them. Because of this video I belive the high altitude diet might play a role aswell.
Hi do you know where ican get goat cheese in Kenya or organic cheese
@@jtobitAsk some of your local farmers..
Or order online if you have the money!!🎉❤🎉
My grandad ate a block of cheddar cheese every day washed down with a pint of cider.
Wow 🧀‼️
Love your channel, keep up the great work!
As a sheep rancher I approve of this content! Some of our favorite cheeses are from sheep’s milk! Costco has P’tit Basque from Spain and it’s amazing!
Thanks for the heads up about the sheep cheese at Costco. I will definitely check it out.🎉❤🎉
When I'm not eating seafood, I'll have some non-fat plain Greek yogurt. Regular cheese makes me tired and slow. I think it contains 1.2 micrograms of vitamin B12 per serving and other vitamins. One container of mine contains 90 grams of protein. I've recently read some research suggesting that this yogurt can help to prevent colon cancer because it's probiotic.
Cheese lover here, also Love the background music Dr.Berg thanks as always🙏
These types of cheese are very cultural for me and my family. When we entertain, we always have a sheep cheese ready to share. We believe Pecorino-Romano is the only Italian cheese. And you're right. My grandma was 98. This cheese was one of her staples. Thanks for this video.
Great information, Dr Berg! Love cheese. Thanks for your wonderful advice 🙏🏻🧀
You're welcome! Glad you found it useful!
This is great information on the subject. Usually we just hear either all dairy is bad or dairy is good in moderation. This actually breaks it down. I'll try some goat and sheep cheese next time I'm at the store if I can find some!
Your bang on, Doc! I also prefer goat and sheep cheese to any other cheese.
Dr Berg this question is not related to this video but i wanted to share it anyways so that i could get a response from you. I am 21 and i have a severe problem of burping and it has been for around 2 years now. I have taken medicine for that but it didn't help.
I am just requesting you to make a video about this issue, like what are the causes of it and how to deal with it.
THANKS!
Dr Berg has over 10 million followers so I don't know that you'll get his attention😢 BUT maybe HIS STAFF will see your message and relay your concerns and get to your question on video.🎉❤🎉❤🎉
P.S. HAVE you tried water fasting to give your gut a break from food❓
I have a few videos on this subject. Here's one that may help! ruclips.net/video/OruLOrhgTPE/видео.html
Good stuff as always Dr Berg!!!
Glad you liked it!
@@Drberg Do you recommend people with autoimmune disease not to eat vegetables.
Thank you very much i was confused before two days to buy a goat cheese or cow cheese , I'm in my second week of keto , I did keto in 2021 and lost 37 pounds in 60 days I did a healthy keto somehow+10000 steps in a day , i tried to do it again in 2023 but I Failed because I bought alot of keto friendly junks and products and I was not walking .. i will try to stay on healthy keto this time
You go for it. LISTEN to Dr Berg and you will be a success 🎉❤
@@tamitatangoto5134 he is the reason for me trying keto in the first place, he just has the answer for everything I could think of! Giving all this knowledge for human health sake and for free is so admirable,, he even mentioned the fasting practice of Ramadan which makes really believe his good intentions
id love to hear your talk on stem cells if you ever find the intrest cutting edge stuff might be a cool topic! appreciate you dr berg!
In France we can enjoy non pasteurized cheese we can find at the markets,so every week I buy organic grass fed non pasteurized milk, cheese and raw cream, absolutely delicious, healthy, great for my bones ( I 'm a 60 mile a week runner) and my recovery from exercise.
Thank you! I look forward to your videos everyday and now I have an excuse to eat cheese! ❤
You are getting creative day by day. Loved the mild BGM in the video.
Thank you Dr. Berg for more great info.
Beethoven's 5th is a nice touch.
I'm not a big fan of background music. It competes for my attention and makes it difficult to absorb the given information.
I did enjoy the Bach at the beginning though. If only Dr B. had kept quiet so I could hear it properly! :-)
I found that one I like goat cheese and it doesn't seem to cause me intestinal issues. I might miss a day or two every week but in general, I eat cheese everyday. Most of my cheeses originate either in France, Italy or even England. I feel like the Europeans are ahead of us when it comes to not allowing certain chemicals and additives to be put in their products. Thank you doctor!
Most things are highly regulated in Europe whilst in the US there’s a lot of pushback against that. They’ll get the message when sales go down.
As a french person I Love roquefort and charente goat cheese ....❤
Must be nice to have access
no Camembert cheese?
ME TOO, also Feta and greek goat yoghurt
I love Roquefort too, very tasty and delicious
Yes,our Greek feta is tasty
Blessings and appreciation from Sydney Australia.
I eat unpasturized cheddar (aged 2-4 years) mainly for the taste but also for the vitamin K2
I was wondering what are your thoughts on duck and quails eggs as alternatives to chicken eggs? Are they as nutritious, healthy and beneficial as conventional eggs? Thanks for your content and insights once again. Amazing video.
I enjoy goat cheese and I'm lucky to live in a farming area where my neighbors provide the goats milk and I get the cheese at a local cheese shop. I don't eat a lot of it, and I never eat package shredded garbage. Thank you for this video reconfirm my faith and cheese🌎💚
That's great!
@@Drberg it is! You have helped me immensely.💚
Plz can u tell name of goat cheese which one is best ❤❤❤❤
I live in the uk. Every day I have cheese. From
French Goat to blue cheese or Spanish manchego with a drizzle of olive oil on it. Often my desert. I loooooooooooove cheese.
So glad to know more about this. Love cheese with my veggies, leafy greens and omelettes. Thank you so much for your continuous helpful advice, Dr Berg 🙏🏻🥦🧀
1. What about the high sodium content in cheese ?
2. Any particular brand of cheese which you would recommend ?
I love every single medical advice you explain in depth
As an Icelander I eat "skyr" which is categorized by the US as a soft cheese but tastes a bit like yogurt (to bad they often add sugar to it)
It’s refreshing to know that it’s ok for me to embrace my addiction for cheese.
Your videos are incredibly helpful. Please keep sharing such valuable content. Thank you!
Strangely enough the only thing that stops me getting heartburn at night
is to eat melted MAASDAM Dutch cheese about 2 hours before bed. This is available here in U.K in many shops.I think it is safer than taking calcium carbonate (tums/Rennies) every night as I was previously
Is this something that can be ordered online? Because I sometimes wake up at about 4:00 in the morning with some indigestion. And it usually has something to do with me having eaten too late in the day.😅😊
I would appreciate any knowledge you have on how to get this very cheesy you mentioned ❓❓❓ - Thanks TAMI 🙋🏼♀️
Not sure about online, but is certainly available in all Aldi stores and sainsburys it is called Jarslberg cheese
I have a slice of Jarlsberg cheese cut up in slices with my salad each day but for a different reason as it supplies Vitamin K2 by being a particular high fermentation cheese from Norway.
As French I could not agree more with you Dr ehehe Vive le Fromage!
Bien dit
❤
I couldn't live without Reblochon, Beaufort, Cantal, Munster and a few others 😉 cheers from Switzerland!
Paski cheese from the island of Pag Croatia is the best. It is from sheep that graze the island on the herbs that grow there. The vegetation is virtually all herbal !
Love goat and sheep cheese and milk. Most people say I don't like the taste. But I found out most haven't tasted it, they just heard it tast awful.
Hello doc 😁❤️ would drinking a glass of milk be the same equivalent as a slice of cheese?
Just from listening to you with headphones, i can feel that you have a healthy liver or gut. I can feel it i dont know why. Thanks for all the information and health care. Take care🚀🙏
I like everything Dr Berg said but I find it a bit challenging to believe that a slight elevation in altitude makes and difference to the sun light that grasses receive tbh. 🤔
Thank you so much for sharing this video Dr Berg ❤❤
You're very welcome!
YES SIR...Love cheese ! I also eat it EVERYDAY ! You are a TOP NOTCH doctor ! Thank you !
I like the ammerlander swiss.
Pairs well with real salted celery seed tea.
I make a broccoli and egg pizza crust with mozzarella and honey BBQ sauce but im sure the sugar in the sauce is not doing me any favors. If i use goat cheese what sauce would you recommend?
Goat & Sheep cheese will now be on my shopping 🛒 list I hope I enjoy 😊
I think that goat cheese is made different ways so that you can get rid of the goat taste.
That's what I find hard to get past.😊😅
Gonna try although I eat a lactose free cheddar cheese already! I ❤ goat cheese but I had stuffy nose syndrome after! Sheep I’ll try! Thanks Doc B❤❤❤
I needed this
Hi Dr. Berg, I agree!! You are getting there!! But maybe the mitochondrial uncoupling part is not that clear... some people may question and may get confused... Maybe another video on that topic?? 🥰
fried eggs with bacon, saucage...and of course cheese on that ! Regards from the Netherlands.
Thanks for calling attention to A2 dairy. It really does work nicely for people who have or feel they have lactose intolerance. (Please understand, dear reader, that I am not talking about every person on the planet. I know there may be a small handful of people who can't have any dairy. Just saying here that a lot of people who felt they couldn't have dairy found they were fine with A2 dairy.)
Can I consider cottage cheese (paneer ) also as cheese?
I found the best cottage cheese in the world at the co-op in Eureka california. It is so DELICIOUS 😋 it is called "GOOD SOURCE" it is THE BEST COTTAGE 🧀 I've had in my entire life.🎉❤🎉
Good choice.
They also have A2 cows! Cascadia dairy and Murray’s cheese. Also clarified butter! Goats butter is fantastic!
Thanks for the valuable info Doc😊
You're welcome. Glad to share this.
Cheese is a staple for me on a low carb/carnivore-ish diet! It's an easy way to add additional fat to your meal, and goes well with butter, too.
I am so glad to hear you say eating cheese everyday is a good thing 🧀❤
its not , it give a lot of people indigestion inflammation and headaches
This video offers a concise and intriguing perspective on incorporating cheese into daily nutrition. The personal insight shared provides a quick and interesting watch for cheese enthusiasts or those curious about its regular consumption.
For a snack I will have an apple and a piece of Jarlsburg cheese. I also put goat cheese on my tuna sandwich.
Where do you get organic goat cheese from??
@@teneshiasmith4080 My local market. It’s from COEUR DE CHEVRE .
Pecorino Romano is a sheep cheese. Very tasty. I think it is loaded with the B vitamins and other great vitamins and minerals. Thomas DeLaurer recommended this cheese.
This is all well and good but important to remember Edam is a very special Dutch cheese that is made backwards. 🧀
Haha, had to read that twice 😂
Would you recommend this for people with autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis who are not supposed to eat cheeses or dairy? 🙏🤗
Water fasting 4 days minimum at least once a month should help with any food intolerances.
😂😊 When I saw this title, my first thought was, Because it's delicious 🤗 Duh! 😆 🤣 😂
I only eat Tillamook and Cabot. I only use Costco's 95% grassfed butter now because of you, my lord that butter is so yellow compared to the other butters that are so much lighter/off white. It tastes so much cleaner and healthier.
Hi Dr. Berg🎉
Just purchased Manchego (sheep’s milk) & goat cheese from Costco💜
Just returned home to find this video! Lol
I adore the finer cheeses!
I've been eating goat and sheep cheese for the past month. I've also been adding powdered whole goat milk to my coffee and I used evaporated goat milk in recipes. This has helped reduce inflammation immensely! Also, I never knew how delicious it is! I tried it because of previous Dr. Berg videos and recommendations. Thanks, doc!

I tried organic raw grass fed cheese about a 8 months ago. The taste was different but I really like it! I also have tried goat cheese and of course it has its own taste too.
I’ve been eating as much organic foods as I can unfortunately where I live the source is limited. Organic tastes so much better!
I took 4 courses of antibiotics and I am on the floor physically eating cheese like you instructed I have energy and I no longer yawn alot or fall asleep at 6pm everyday
It makes me constipated but I’ll try goat and sheep cheese
Thankyou for posting that because I will eat more cheese to STOP the runs. I have gut problems, and MS. I would rather be a little constipated, especially when out in public.😮
