I have an instant reaction to cow dairy products. Although I love them, it's like an itchy, histamine-esque response followed by some stomach upset. I'll have to try buffalo, goat, etc cheeses soon. And see if there's a difference.

I’m skeptical of goat cheese. Or cheeses? Anyway I’ve tried a couple goat cheeses (live near a lot of ‘cheesy people’ in Vermont) and it tasted tallowy and had an unpleasant residual aftertaste and mouthfeel to me.

I actually don't like cheese at all of any kind. Goat cheese in the Mediterranean diet is absolutely disgusting. I love coconut oil though...Medium Chain Fatty Acids are in that I think...correct me if I'm wrong.

goat and sheep dairy is so good its a bit gamey or earthy at first but it just tastes betetr and no IBS issues.
The feta I really enjoy is French Valbreso, bought from my local deli. My tummy never has issues with this.
I love goat's cheese and Parmigiano di Reggiano, and also a good feta made from goat's and/or sheep's milk.
