Are there any .cfg files in the 32mb partition that you can adjust? The garbled screen is usually caused by "vga 788" somewhere in the configuration. Changing it to 791 or 794 works to stop the garble. Older legacy systems like the 788 setting.
I didnt find any text files where i could adjust the VGA setting but the forum suggested booting to text mode. I’ll let you know if that solution works.
That's a very good question! I personally carry around Paladin on a USB that just contains other OSes like CAINE, ParrotOS, and a Fedora build. I carry around separate external hard drives ranging from 500GB to 2TB to contain the evidence acquisition. That way when the acquisition is done, I can submit the data drive containing the evidence to Evidence Control and everything is logged in the Chain of Custody. Depending on where you work, this may not matter.
