I've been building cars for close to 20 years and watched all of you elder RUclips car channels from the very early stages, because of that I've now been saying for years that RUclips ruined car culture and it's so cool to see so many people coming back to roots to just enjoy cars. You don't need to make 1000 horsepower for your car to be sick. Keep on doing you brother this is why I watch all of your videos.

I just bought my second IS300 a couple weeks ago. When I had seen the thumb nail my first thought was an IS300 but not a Sport Cross. This is so sick, and I can't wait to see this bad Mama Jama get built.
I love the message in this video. I recently got an rsx Type S and it’s cool and all, but it has a few mods that make it awful to drive. Solid motor mounts, exhaust, light weight flywheel. It somehow drones in such a way that I get a mean headache every time I drive it any distance. My wife has a 2007 impala that she inherited from a grandparent. I would love to sell both cars, get an automatic car that’s sporty-ish but reliable and comfy(Lexus, Audi, bmw??) that we both enjoy driving. I have my 4runner which isn’t going anywhere, and it’s comfy, slow and simple. Maybe I do just need a reset button… always dreamed of doing that. Keep it up Evan!

You hit the nail on the head with the introduction. People will take content creators as their ideal image etc. Which I get totally understand, as do I, but for me to a certain degree. I know for a fact that if I don't have the funds to do something I simply don't do it, and/or save up for it. A lot of people go in debt in just getting a loan of getting a car mod and are somewhat closer to the icon they look up at. Which again. sure it's fine to a certain degree. But then they find themself lacking again and look for something else and then it's back to full circle. Just want to say to the folks out there, use your mind before deciding something that can snowball into worse stuff. You don't need to feel left out or unpopular if you drive an older car for example. If it's your car and you are proud of it, that's all that matters. To hell with anyone who says other wise or talks you down or anything. As for you Evan I think you doing this and also other social media folks who do the same with reasonable priced and/or with older cars you make a difference in getting people to see more then just fame and popularity with a newer car. Older cars do have more character after all.

bought a sportcross from a lady that came my shop a few months ago. I paid 300 bucks for it because she "just wanted to get rid of it" it was literally perfect inside and out. only thing it needed was rear axle seals because the diff as leaking a shit ton of fluid. she had no idea what she had and neither did I at the time. when i posted it for sale a couple weeks later i only posted it for $3000. i woke up to 100 messages of people wanting to buy it. next day it sold it for $8000
i have a sedan daily and i cant wait to get a wagon for a project, i want to isf swap it with the 5.0 v8 and 8speed auto and then do a custom widebody. rocket bunny style. cant wait to see wat evan does🔥🔥🔥
I’ve got an is300 and na miata no mods done to engine but I have done body work and kits to make them look unique and flashy yet stock cuz I like the reliability and been fixing them up before I get close to doing any of those types of mods
I owned an is300 they are great just horrible on gas mileage obviously. Cant wait to see the build man and I hope to get one of these imported from Japan in a few years.

If I remember correctly the red is300 was supposed to be a giveaway car but then the build on it was taking too long and then he just kept it. Hopefully with you getting the wagon version, you will finally giveaway the red is300.
The restarting part hit home because i built an ls to plan on buying a car saved 10k and after that didn’t wanna let the cash go and felt i rushed into the project now i feel i wanna k swap something and keep the ls for a later date and i feel guilty about it for myself and to have to explain to others but sometimes just a reset is good
