Morning Steve love it across there for food are the cruise ships coming back ?food looked good 30 years go used to drive across and take pictures of the service vehicles on the docks and to the far end the ferry's and cargo boats good memories

Evening Steve. You've done it again making my planned dinner this evening seem somewhat lacking. The Waterfront is a cracking place to eat and drink, especially when there's a big liner to look at and a lot of people to watch.

Nice video Steve and nice weather as well :) . Athough ftira looks very nice I higly recommend to try Ftira from Nenu Artisan Baker (close to Lower Barrakka Gardens). It is the really mouth-watering and probably the best one I tried on Maltese Islands apart from the iconic bakeries from Gozo - Maxokk and Mekren.

No matter how much you dug into that pizza it never seemed to go down much lol.,that was one fully loaded pizza, I couldn't have eaten all that either lol. I love the restaurants on the waterfront my fave place to eat xx

Yes i have a plan , just so short of time
That looks like some sort of modernized 'Gozotian Ftira', dough is different, yet potatoes are right, it's cooked right, and it's certainly looks delicious. It's mainly the dough that looks off. Looks like they used some sort of pizza dough, and the crust is much thinner than the real thing. I will definitely try eating it there. They have two other locations as well. In Gzira ,and also in Qormi. So what are you going back to try? LOL. Yes, when it's loaded with toppings like that, they are very filling. That is way more heavy on the toppings than the real thing. Especially all that tuna. Their menu says that it's also supposed to have oregano, and it's supposed to have two types of tomatoes, fresh and sun dried. I don't recall if you said sauce, yet it's supposed to have a tomato sauce. I am not sure about that ftira, yet the real thing often has white pepper, maybe black pepper. Their sauce might have spices in it too.
Yes i found it a bit soft for me 😟 and impossible to pick up the way i like to eat pizza
@@EnglishmaninMalta it looked wet, heavy in toppings, and thin. Not the best combination if you want a solid non collapsible crust. I think it's also all the moist ingredients they poured on heavy, all that tuna fish, all the sauce, not sure how much fresh tomatoes there was yet that is a wet ingredient as you know. If they put half the tuna and half the sauce I think that it would have not been so wet.
I think that place is trying to be for the tourists, a lot of tourists don't know how the real thing can be, and if they like or love the taste then they are happy.
Nice video, you say you will put a link to the restaurant below, but as far as I can see, there is no link there. I have noticed in other videos you say you will put a link to places you have visited, but there are never any links there. Maybe it is me, but I can never find any links. This is not a criticism by the way, just thought I would mention it.
