Maybe you should change the title of this video to “Advanced Cleaning, stripping in church” 😂. Sure some people might be disappointed that you’re only stripping floors, but who knows it could add to your views. Another great video! I love watching your family business grow.

I worked for a carpet cleaning and remediation company for several years... not only did I learn these difficult skills, I got in the best shape of my life! The water hose temp is insane and we all could grab those hoses with no protection. Also, the remediation part of the service was highly technical and difficult.

I used to manage environmental services for a rehabilitation home. They were in the middle of doing a light remodel and wanted all the floors stripped and rewaxed. We had to attack each room when they became vacant and do so quietly so we didn’t bother the other residents. That church job was huge, I got tired watching you guys getting it done. It is definitely not an easy or clean job. The stripped wax gets everywhere. I will say, it is a great feeling when you’re done though. Looking at perfectly cleaned and waxed floors always feels nice.

The only reason I even know that is because the part of the building that was the actual strip club was used as a thrift store to help fund the church, but they never took out the stage or covered the holes the stripper poles used to be in.

I love your channel. A black man doing what i aspire to do, open a cleaning business with a specialty on floors.
Im a custodial manager and have been for 7 years. Imma recommend the following,
    1. get stick blades. That way you dont have to do all the bending unless necessary.
    2. When scrubbing, stay in the squares and make 3-4 med speed passes before going to the next roll. This ensures you dont miss wax (almost)
    3. Use hi pro (high productivity) pads with a flat pad driver (with no brush). The flat pad driver makes it easier to swing the machine and you can also tilt the machine on uneven flor, putting more weight on the pad to get all the wax off. The hi pro pads will make it easier to remove wax. Like literally 5x easier, ill never go back to thick stripping pads. Only down side is that they are like $50-$60 bucks for a pack of 5. BUT its worth it.

Saying you have until 5 so it will take until 5 is ok if there’s enough work to last until 7. If there is only enough work until 3 you’re setting low expectations for yourself and you’re team... the soft bigotry of low expectation. My dad taught me to work as hard as I can as long as I can then when you are done you know you gave it everything every minute. I love your channel, I love the family business and the teamwork. My favorite part are the rug cleanings!

I did residential commercial cleaning for 19 years for a private contractor. and this reminds me of a rec center we did in a 55 and over community. we always used the hose and wand to vac much faster it stile took 2 days . strip day 1 wax day 2 lots of slips no falls looked great at the end. I smelled striper for a few days after on that job😏. great video👍🏼.

A blade edge scraper and steel wool attached to a stick works best on the those edges, that way you don"t have to be on your hands/ knees
