I'd recommend even using FOUR pillows. Haha. Also, when we're reaching around for that thigh stretch, it's a good idea to put one of the pillows under your knee. I'm down to two pillows, btw.
Great video. When I try to do my split, I’m leaned forward. I can’t sit up straight. At first I thought the issue was my back so I did stretches on back flexibility and got a back bend. But that didn’t do anything for my split. Now I think the problem is my hip joint or my leg stretched backwards (quads maybe)? Something there isn’t properly flexible for correctly achieving a split… Do you know what the problem might be and a stretch that could fix it? Thanks!
Edit: after going through these exercises, I’m thinking it’s the back hip flexor… 🤔
Hey, I've been working on my splits or hip opening poses most days for a few years and still no where near to the floor in front or middle splits ... I've always had tight hips more on my right hip ... but any tips to help or maybe my body just won't open enough for splits? Many thanks Sarah x
Have been practising, was a bit rusty. When is the next one?
