@williamhanson9493 Noice troll attempt guy! You can't actually be seriously comparing ballet with the UFC because that would really mean you're that dumb. So it's fine, because you weren't serious, you were just trying to be funny. Failure to be funny is fine! You just suck at comedy, nothing to be bent out of shape for. Way better than being stupid enough to compare ballet to punching and kicking people! That would be a massive L so it's a good thing that's not what your comment is about! Phew! Dodged that bullet! Or should I say... that "ballet"? Hah! That's how we keep it topical instead of mentioning completely unrelated stuff on a video about ballet! Like out of nowhere mentioning the UFC for no reason! That's just weird! But not for a joke! If it's just a small trolling attempt, it's allowed! Can you imagine if it wasn't a trolling attempt? How stupid you'd sound by making that comparison? Heh! It's good you didn't do it! The cringe would be phenomenal! So much cringe from a comment that, out of nowhere, would try to devalue the decades of work and discipline that go into these dancers mastering their bodies, working to learn choreography, working with orchestras and bands to finetune their performances and actually performing on stage. Would be such a weird connection to make, too! But it was all a small troll attempt that failed miserably so it's alright! ^_^
She makes it look so easy even though ballet is very difficult. Every movement looks perfect , she is like a doll from an animated movie. This was beautiful! I have been fascinated by ballet ever since I was a kid and I watched all the barbie movies and they always looked so elegant when they danced ballet . Even as an adult I watch them sometimes but especially the nutcracker. Those movies brings me back to a time in my life when I felt joyful. I can't dance ballet but watching it makes me feel happy and relaxed. It's amazing how we can train our bodies to be able to do these kind of choreographies and make it look magical while moving around so gracefully.
Ever since I was a little girl I loved ballet and this is one of my favourites! Just the music and the way the dancer appears to effortlessly float across the stage making it look so easy. Absolutely beautiful! The music and everything about this is so good and it always gave me goosebumps from a young age ❤
I remember when I was little and did ballet. I wanted to be able to dance like this, but now I’m literally the most inflexible, uncoordinated person you’ll ever meet
Me too omg. I've grown into being nerdy and academic which I love but sometimes I miss the dance days haha. And I envy people who fit in both studying and proper exercise!
I danced ballet for about seven years before my dance teacher retired and got replaced by someone who wasn't nearly as good, and then I stopped and have been pretty out of practice ever since. I'd love to get back into it, though--I'll never be able to dance with a professional company with my bad hips, but I'd like to get some of my flexibility back.
Same! I danced for about 10 years and then stopped and would love to go back and learn more. Wish I was more flexible and coordinated as my younger self
She looks so playful yet delicate (for a fairy role). I'm not even a dancer but I think she danced with the music (unlike what most people say) and she exerted it flawlessly!

I remember seeing somewhere Ballet and Gymnastics were called the two most physically demanding endeavors. Gymnastics more for the upper body, and ballet for the lower. While still needing considerable strength and flexibility for both. Though I have no source for it or proof, always stuck with me.
Ive been in ballet all my life and I must say that is one of the most exquisite costumes I have ever seen!! The ivory bodice and pink tutu with gold embellishment and crystals gallore is exactly what comes to mind when one thinks of the Sugar Plum fairy. And i adore her little dainty lace bell sleeves. The tiny golden crown on top of her golden hair, encrusted with crystals and jewels, is so absolutely beautiful, I cant even tell if it is a seperate piece or an actual part of her hair. She looks like confection. Like champagne flavored cotton candy with a drizzle of maple syrup.
I have enjoyed seeing her elegant dance. She must have put lots effort in dancing to this level. Good effort and her spirit of persistent and hardworking finally let her stand out and get applaud from her audience. Bravo.

Just think...we live in a society that can support people dedicating their lives to perfecting this amazing art form. Our society (or at least some parts of it) has enough interest and appreciation for art such as this to allow people to do it at the expense of anything else. Thinking about that blows my mind...in many ways, we are lucky to be alive in the modern age
Faby Ana Not really in the grand scheme of things. Only since about the 18th century. And even then, they were second class citizens, working other jobs (eg prostitution, menial labour etc) to survive. Dance overall, as a specialised profession, existed very rarely in history and only in quite affluent societies (such as temple dancers in ancient Egypt). The fact that we actually have a whole industry of people doing it exclusively for a living is almost unprecedented and has only been around for the last 100 years or so. That was the point of my original post.

No one gives ballerinas enough credit. People have no idea what they go through to practice to get THIS amazing!!! So incredible! ❤
For real my calves and hamstrings hurt just watching this
@williamhanson9493 Noice troll attempt guy!
So true; I actually do know what they go through to achieve this. And I wish I didn`t.
Wondering how much they earn ok the US as a ballerina. ❤❤❤
@aaronvanzile3824 how about those toes. Ouch!
Is she a real fairy? She moves so light...
She’s been training her whole life. I have no right to judge.
God she hit that last position right on the music, ahh it was perfect 🌟🌟
Ross Ewen yeah, she really did make it look cute!
Ever since I was a little girl I loved ballet and this is one of my favourites! Just the music and the way the dancer appears to effortlessly float across the stage making it look so easy. Absolutely beautiful! The music and everything about this is so good and it always gave me goosebumps from a young age ❤

This is more elegant in one video than I will be in my whole life
Katie Maskell i like your profile lol
It's ugly like me
I remember when I was little and did ballet. I wanted to be able to dance like this, but now I’m literally the most inflexible, uncoordinated person you’ll ever meet
Me too omg. I've grown into being nerdy and academic which I love but sometimes I miss the dance days haha. And I envy people who fit in both studying and proper exercise!
I lasted three years when I was younger and had to quit because the teacher told me I was getting fat lol.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
She looks so playful yet delicate (for a fairy role). I'm not even a dancer but I think she danced with the music (unlike what most people say) and she exerted it flawlessly!
malia !!
If your are a dancer you may now she was dancing the deep notes that can be hardly noticed it the music
Ok... this is random and totally ruins the fancy vibe but....
I love your profile pic
Mary •-• She was dancing the deep notes?
Mad respect to Ballerinas and Figure skaters. It demands so much strength and endurance, yet they dance like dainty little dolls

I'm not gonna lie, this isn't my favorite variation of the dance, but this dancer made it looks so easy and flawless. Her dancing was magnificent and she herself is very beautiful!
audience: wow, so graceful, so elegant, so effortless
the ballerina: I'M IN SO MUCH PAIN MY MUSCLES ARE BuRNinG OH NO THE HARD ONE IS COMMING UP JUST KEEP SMILING
Yeah. My cousins a part of the Royal Ballet school in London and she once had to get sent to hospital due to her pulled muscles and over-blistered feet.
this is a hilarious comment because at my dance studio, when we do nutcracker and we're learning sugarplum, we all say that pas de chat part is the hardest lol
PLEASE THAT'S SO RELATABLE I CAN'T-
I remember seeing somewhere Ballet and Gymnastics were called the two most physically demanding endeavors. Gymnastics more for the upper body, and ballet for the lower. While still needing considerable strength and flexibility for both.

Love the way you describe it 💖 I’m 24 and gonna start ballet lessons soon, I just find the pretty shoes, dresses and music motivating enough! 🩰

You know, this is actually the first time I've ever seen a ballet performance. And I can truly say, I'm blown away. She dances so elegantly and beautifully! I know zilch about any type of dancing, but I can't imagine how hard she had to work to pull it all off. Kudos to her and the beauty she brings into this world!

Pffft why?!
Nah, im gonna start ballet and im practicing at home too so yea..
Elina T what drugs are you smoking and may I have some?

You do know that ballerinas have been around for centuries, right? It's been a career choice for a long time
Faby Ana Not really in the grand scheme of things.
I do ballet and I can feel the pain of having to look gracefully and smile

Brenda Calderon Obviously not or pointe shoes wouldn’t exist
@@deandrareynolds7371 actually it is INCREDIBLY painful. You think that something wouldn't exist because it hurts? How can having all of your bodyweight going through the absolute tips of your toes NOT be painful?? 🙄🧐
ashotofmercury My reply was to Brenda Calderdon not Simply Canadian. I was saying that Brenda is obviously not the only person who finds it satisfying to watch ballerina’s dancing in pointe shoes, or they wouldn’t bother, would they? Especially as Simply Canadian pointed out, it’s not exactly comfortable and easy.
