I feel bad for the blonde one… her mom forced her to train every day, and she gets replaced by some random dancer with barely any training. The message is supposed to be “hard work through passion will get you where you want to be” But it’s really “natural talent trumps hard work” which goes against how ballet works, which is heavily focused on slowly building up skills.
This movie always made me cry. I gave up on my dream of being a ballerina when i was little and regreted it ever since. This movie just reminds me that i love ballet and cant follow that dream anymore.

It takes hard work and my body simply cant handle it right now. But I do believe that if you want something enough you can do it. I had an teacher who couldnt do much after her leg surgery so there was another student and sometimes another teacher who showed us the ballet moves while our teacher told us what to do etc. I wish and pray for you, dream will come true💗 someday we both be part of the ballet magic. Cuz Felicie is one of a kind, probably superhuman. No human has ever done what she has but it's a movie after all.
