Love Tim Henson, and his/the sound of this guitar. I'm no where near any kind of great player, but GD that thing is gorgeous. I may just invest in one just 'cause.
When unplugged, this classical guitar delivers excellent harmonic performance, preserving all the classic tonal characteristics. Despite its small soundhole and thin body, volume levels may not be very high, but it's perfect for quiet practice sessions or personal enjoyment without amplification. Keep in mind that in our test, we didn't add much to the audio track. Just a touch of reverb and flat equalization.
Intonation is really good I would say, at least in that particolar instrument. String height was spot on right out of the box, not super low, but allowed a great playability for sure.
The radius is 15.7", we discuss it in the in-depth article here: www.guitarshow.it/2023/01/31/ibanez-tim-henson-tod10n-the-perfect-synthesis-between-electric-and-acoustic/?lang=en
It is highly enjoyable to play even when unplugged. The volume is obviously lower than a full-body acoustic guitar, but the sound hole on the shoulder facing the musician allows for good sound projection in personal study and performance situations.
Ok so here's the 800lb gorillia/elephant about I have as yet to hear. I play a LOT of flamenco. Can someone PLEASE thump/tap the body like is a STAPLE of gesture of that type of music. Several "guitar" influencer/salesman/critics have completely left body thumping out of their synopsis.

I'm buying this guitar!!! 😄
I finally have something to treat myself with in a few months! Thanks for the review and demo, how does it sound unplugged?

@@guitarshowitaly I am still waiting for you this guitar I would assume I could get the classical warm tone I want by adjusting the amps settings
Great video dude!
How good would you say is the intonation and string height of the guitar?

Hi there, what is the name of the piece you played at 2:53?
It's "Les Folies d'Espagne", Mauro Giuliani' s version
@@carlostocchi2831 thank you 🙏🏻
I’ve been looking to see what the radius is on the fretboard/neck. Can’t find that spec anywhere.
It's in some review videos and I've seen it other places, it's like 15.5 or something. Closer to an electric than a classical guitar.

comment as tu pu l'acheter ?
do you have to plug it in to play? can it just be played acoustic?

Can you play fingerstyle, Shungha jung-stuff on this thing?
Absolutely. I suggest trying it first, though
What is the playing style of tim henson's, metal, fingerstyle?...
Basically a mix between fingerstyle guitar with metal feels and trap beats, a really cutting-edge style
Does the guitar need neck tuning out of the box?
We are not able to answer you from direct experience. The guitar we tried came from other tests, so we weren’t the first ones to unbox it.
I heard the guitar need basic setup out of the box.
@@doubleliuwhat kind of set ..I
Mind, the most important, the guitarist, not the guitar
46mm is too narrow for my fat fingers on some chords. A really niche product.

So they don’t mess up their super expensive guitars or ruin the timbre by installing tap plates.
