A student of mine got one and the build quality is honestly fantastic… The only problem is that the high E string’s intonation is a bit off but the rest of the strings are fine
@@KRSinDUB hi, I did receive it, the guitar itself is very good, playability and versatility is excellent, just some small QC issues, which are only noticeable if you're looking for them, like rough paint finishes inside the pickup/bridge holes and slight discoloration of the headstock compared to the body. Then again, very small stuff. Supposedly Tim is launching a prestige version of the guitar. If you want to spend a bit more I'd probably go with it just to guarantee the QC is immaculate, but otherwise the tod10 is a solic option as well. Just ask Thomann for a extra QC check (costs 70€) and they'll guarantee everything is working as expected
Deleting my hater-ass comment. Congrats to anyone getting their cool guitar! I'm curious to see what the used market will look like with a high supply and demand.
I can say I've seen some of those and it does look like they painted the whole body before gluing the bridge on but every one I've seen that broke off has like super high tension steel acoustic strings on it so who knows
@@tawmifm Thank you. That means no, unless you want to take the chance of breaking the peizo. I bought a Cordoba Stage instead that has a dedicated body mic control for thumb thumps and other percussion effects. Being tatted up to you neck might not bode well for brains or versatility.
Yo just bought it last night and my rep called and said - "i'm sure you're a fan of the band so you can understand why its a multiple month wait." As the website just says it's in stock lol.
Yep, my bridge detached. Happened to me after 6 days. It was just sitting on a guitar stand when I heard a loud ripping and string popping sound. Looked over to see the bridge dangling. It completely detached from the body. Probably weak or not enough glue. However the problem is that because the pickup goes through the bridge, it rips the pickup out as well. You can re-glue the bridge, but getting the pickup back in properly so that it functions correctly was the issue. Ended up returning it. Now waiting for a replacement. Was told I might not get a replacement until September! 😭 Guitar was great until that happened. Hopefully future orders will have resolved this issue.
It has $200 of features on it compared to the $500 model. This one has fishman pick-ups the $500 model does not. I was going to buy the $500 one, but I feel this is worth the extra $200.
I'm glad he played it unplugged. I wanted to hear it unplugged as ever kept playing it plugged only. If you perform with it, sure, it is meant to be pluged. But if you are just practicing, playing unplugged is just fine.
tell me you dont know what a classical guitar is supposed to sound like without telling me you dont know what a classical guitar is supposed to sound like smh

Thank you for this lil review! Guitar center said mine will ship in about a month and a half (Ordered in late January) and Ive been super excited
Thank you for stopping by! These things are a hot commodity but very worth the wait
why so soon? i ordered one in october of last year and its still not here yet
@@squidboy_3511¯\_(ツ)_/¯ probably based on a lot of different factors
I really wanna see a mariachi shred on it lol looks sick bro!!! The detail on it is exquisite 👌🏽🤌🏽
As of ordering one December 21, 2023 from Sweetwater. Mine should show up April of 2024.
Dang that's a hot minute but it's worth the wait!
I ordered my tod10 back in January when it frist came out on Thomann, estimated delivery date is August 😢
hopefully it ships sooner than that!
Hey man, did you receive the guitar? All good? I am hesitating pulling the trigger with thomann too :P

Saw a few posts on social media with this guitar's bridge popping out from the shitty wood glue.
Did you see a few posts, or did you see the one post?
definitely seen one or two posts like that but mine is completely fine so far
cancelled my preorder, was too concerned that the quality was going down the drain with the high demands. bridges popping out.
Yeah I've seen that. Caused by painting the whole body and not leaving the bridge section unpainted
its very uncommon
Is it an exception

hi. does your tuner button click in like the phase button does?
Can we know if the builtin pickup will react to body thumping and tapping like a REAL FLAMENCO guitarist would play?
It's a piezo pickup

I got mine around same time.
Should you really be playing with a ring on your fret hand?
its a silicone ring. But a lot of players wear metal rings and enjoy the "relic" it shows on the neck over time. To each their own!
what was that last classical sounding song called near the end?
classico tenacious d lol

Hey, what was the name of the polyphia song you were playing?
Goose 🪿
I'm still waiting on my sweetwater order. Looks nice.

dang this is a horror stoy for sure. Im sorry that happened to you and hope you get the replacement sooner than that!
Where was it made
Indo
Indonesia
Omg that action…
it sounds too much like a ukulele for me to want to get it
Yes, it’s a nylon stringed classical guitar. It’s supposed to sound that way lol.
You gotta hear it plugged in, sounds great , but unplugged it's fun to tool around with it on the couch. It's a semi acoustic afteralll
It’s nylon that’s kinda the point
I can't believe a signature model guitar is so inexpensive

Cheap ❌
Inexpensive ✔️
Looks good …. But Dont like that it’s a fingerprint magnet
It is, but it's still beautiful
It seems it's not a good deal, I listen a lot of rewieu s
I personally love it. Definitely not a guitar for everyone but I appreciate it's unique sound and aesthetic
Aestethic, yes, but, for what music?
@@bernardmartinand7506 anything you want. I love how it sounds Spanish/classical but is much nicer to play than a standard classical guitar imo
These guitars were designed to be played plugged in. You forgot to plug it in.

sounds like a toy guitar (bad)
Biggest take away from this video:
The TOD10N sounds Mexican.
tell me you dont know what a classical guitar is supposed to sound like without telling me you dont know what a classical guitar is supposed to sound like smh

Did you jad any problem with your bridge ?
