As a Dolphins fans, I've watched the jets a few times every year and I have to say, the script writer knows how to make them look good briefly, then utter chaos hits them. Those brief, random moments when they play really well is what scares me.
That’s the thing. There’s always that ray of hope for Jets fans. A good draft or signing. Some form in preseason. A good victory against a favoured rival.
But their fate is inevitable.
It’s the soul -crushingness that makes it all so enjoyable for actual humans.
As I once texted to my local radio station the first game for the Jets fans was like a child waking up on Christmas morning and not merely discovering no presents under the tree, but rather than discovering their father dressed up as Santa Claus dead in the middle of the floor

This is the funniest thing I have read all day. Took me almost four minutes to stop giggling and comment... the amount of heartache and hatred for the world that had to have taken place on that day is insane... I almost feel bad for finding this funny. Fucking sports should not be able to rip people's hearts out the way it often does...

Why they haven’t fixed that stadium and switched to grass is beyond me. With all the injuries that happen at MetLife the proof is there that it is likely the least safe stadium to play in. As a 49ers fan I watched Nick Bosa when the niners played the Jets and watched his knee get shredded (out for the season). I understand if you want to remain mediocre to save pennies but if you have a QB like Aaron Rodgers who can win you football games you want to make sure he stays healthy and MetLife certainly ain’t it.

We're from Houston, but my uncle is a Jets fan. This accurately depicts him before, during, and after the season. He bragged about the Jets in preseason, I bragged about the Strouds during, and I'm rather sure that next season will determine the future of our relationship forever.

Tom I am a life long Browns fan that is completely in touch with this type of misery since the replacement franchise was put in to replace the franchise that never should have left.
