    Colt's defense:"no."

    • @bglynnbrown
      @bglynnbrown Год назад +29

      I wouldn’t really put it on the defense. The defense and special teams were pretty much carrying the Colts that first half as the offense only had one TD, which was a result of the Vikings fumbling the ball to Indy. Indy had both a block punt and an interception returned for TDs. The Vikings also had 2 failed 4th down conversions on their 31 yd line. The offense couldn’t do anything with it and only got 2 FGs. Once the second half came, the Vikings got their crap together and the defense couldn’t keep up with the lack of production on offense the entire game.

      @manguything6301 Год назад +7

    • @kingofgrim4761
      @kingofgrim4761 Год назад +10

      @@manguything6301 I’d argue it’s more on offense than defense when a lead like this is pissed away. Because usually these two things occur
      A. The offense gets lazy, 3 and outs galore. Bad clock management, no scoring
      B. The defense begins playing prevent type defense rather than the defense that has held them to so little points during the game.
      So essentially, bad coaching and bad offense = blown lead

    • @PuchuKt
      @PuchuKt Год назад +2

      IMHO both have the blame, the defense for, you know blowing a 30+ point lead and the offense for not even getting to field goal range on a regular basis and bad clock management, giving the d no time to rest

    As someone living on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border and has had to deal with Vikings fans acting like, because it was the biggest comeback ever, this game showed they were legit instead of one that basically gave themselves a black eye and then won a fight against a child, hearing Tree talk about how bad this game actually was and how both teams flat out embarrassed themselves was quite vindicating. The Comeback, a game that ironically featured former Colts coach Frank Reich in his greatest moment as a backup QB for the Bills, this is not. This is basically the Comeback if instead of both teams having one great half each, both teams had one half where they just absolutely sucked.

    In just this season, the Vikings have recorded their worst loss in franchise history, BUT also the largest comeback in league history. Not to mention their wins are mostly done with slim margins AND were already the victors of the “[other] greatest game”.
    Regardless of sport or how they’ll fare in the playoffs, HOW IS THIS TEAM REAL!?

    I genuinely feel bad for Matt Ryan...he's really not bad at all, sometimes inconsistent and makes bad plays but he's really a good QB....but his main problem has been sitting with terrible teams with a few good players on Offense and Defense....and yet his 3 most "memorable" games are 17-0, 28-0, and 33-0, all games where he did excellent in the first half, but as the defense started choking away, I suppose the pressure got to him and he started choking (which probably was in the back of his mind after the first game where they choked and it started eating at him every time they kept scoring more and more points, causing him to choke further).
    I think he's just under elite level QBing and wasn't anything super crazy, but I still feel terrible to have your "legacy" be 3 games where the team completely choked it.

This isn't just The Greatest Game, this is also The Greatest Comeback (in The Greatest Game). Indianapolis will be haunted by this for a very long time, none more so than Matt Ryan. Minnesota will cherish that Saturday game for the rest of history. How many Ls did the Colts take? One for every point conceded in the fadeout from being up 33-0. THIRTY-THREE TO ZERO!
    What is the kickass music after the halftime? I would like to know. 😁

    To lose a game after being ahead 33-0 at halftime... there are simply no words. I don't even think calling it an implosion of epic proportions does it justice. I could be mistaken, but I get the feeling this will be a game the Colts and their fans won't soon forget, however much they might want to.
