I feel for Tyler Bass. Poor dude had to delete his social media accounts because of the death threats he got for the missed kick. That's low as heck.
People don't get it's just a game. I've had to deal with the ultra rare Justin Tucker miss, and I can't help but just feel sadness for him even though he's probably gonna be a first ballot HOF for the all-time records he's got.
I'll never understand death threats over a game. WTF people.
Its so much emotions for alot of people. And some of them take it to far.
Ever notice how people who say they got death threats never show proof, file a police report, nor is anybody held accountable? Weird how that works.

It was more than just older fans. If you're born in Buffalo you are raised on stories about those years. I can't believe I'm saying this but the "original" wide right is now a scar passed down through the generations

@@talas7217 yea, my friend’s dad was from Buffalo and was a huge Bills fan and his Birthday was on the day the original wide right happened and he was scared. My friend (his son) were watching the game together and he looked like he was about to break down

As a Buffalonian and Bills fan, the whole "I'm not surprised" hit it 100%.
Yeah, saw it coming from a mile away. The defense was worse this year somehow than the 13 second game. So going into it, I knew we weren't going to stop them much. But for the defense to make them punt once, and for some key players to make massive mistakes, was hard. I mean Diggs complained the whole season about not getting a ball, then to get a ball and fumble, then drop the next one, then drop a guaranteed touchdown. Was worse than could have ever been expected. Not even needing to mention the ending to explain the pain of the game is the hardest part because that kick hurt.
Somehow I feel like Tom channeled his pain for the Packers loss into this. Bills fans, I feel your pain, too. This one hurts. 😢
It did hurt, but not as bad as it was two years ago. I was kinda expecting this.
@@sdghomerosame. I will never waiver, Bills by a billion - but after the Confrence Championship game and 13 seconds, it’s hard not to. But I’m Buffalo through and through so I’m a Sabres fan too, the better part of my life is waiting for the other shoe to drop. The pain lets me know I’m alive.

Let’s hope a lot of things don’t happen again. But again, I was born into this storm. We know how to drive in snow - and at some point, the roads HAVE to be clear. Or we just keep white knuckling it on our way home, I’m used to that too lol
The thing about the Wide Right kick, if he makes it. The Chiefs are just gonna parade down the field and win either in regulation or extra time. The defense wasn't stopping anything.

Very true. I felt it was odd that the play-calling had Josh throwing to the endzone so early after the 2-minute warning. They had so much success with chunk plays. Number one objective should've been to drain the clock before even attempting the endzone.

Yeah…this year was a roller coaster and a carousel at the same time. The mid-season low to the regular season ending high to the devastating playoff loss and ALL the emotions. Oh the life of being a Bills fan.

As a ravens fan I feel for bills fans. Tyler bass pulling a billy cundiff, losing in the divisionals by a muffed field goal is brutal. But the death threats is never acceptable
As a Steelers fan I didn't mind losing to the Bills because before this postseason the Steelers and Bills had met a total of three times and regardless of the which week it was Wildcard, Divisional, or Conference Championship game the winner of that game always had represented the AFC in the Super Bowl. Hoped that the Bills would at least get to the Super Bowl and really hoped they'd finally get their Super Bowl win. They deserve it.
Felt so sad for them losing in such a postseason's past rerun way, always "wide right" for the Bills.

Having a great kicker on your team is too often overlooked in this day and age. Good midseason turnaround and all but the Bills really need to figure out how to get over the hump.
If he had made the field goal the chiefs would have marched right down the field and scored a field goal as time expires to rip your soul out that way
People see a kicker, miss one kick and think that he's horrible instead of looking at his Stats, bass has been one of the best kickers in the n f l since he got drafted
Bass USED to be a great kicker...then Matt Smiley took over as ST Coordinator and broke him.
I'm seeing this after the SB!!! The kicker for the Chiefs could've easily been a MVP!!! Plus McDuffie b/c he stopped the 49ers from getting 1 pt, & from their Kicker, the 49ers could've possibly won the game, BUT w/ Patrick Mahomes, u just NEVER know?!?! He probably would've been able 2 drum up the plan w/ Coach Reid to get a must TD!!! I LOVE watching the game with the Chiefs mic'd up!!! Pat was cool 😎 as cool cucumber!!!

Bills fan here, stretching all the way back to the 70's. Back in the day, we couldn't beat Miami. Ever. For some reason, that curse lasted about ten years. Then there were four consecutive Super Bowl losses, and a very long winter of discontent.
Thank you Tom for these great videos. It's important as a Bills fan to keep both a sense of hope and a sense of humor. I always think "It could be worse. I could be a Jets fan".
You've got good perspective here. I was too young for the superbowl run, mostly I remember YEARS of profound mediocrity. I consider it a blessing to have hope for my team and to get to see some really fun games, instead of just hoping we can get to 8 & 8 and MAYBE beat the Pats once in a season. Even though it's tough on my heart, I much prefer the years we're having right now! I really hope Josh can be our "son of York" and the people of Buffalo can finally get a championship! But, as you said, it could be worse 🙂

For those that don't know, Tyler Bass has apparently been getting death threats from some "fans". This is a really, REALLY small minority of the fan base, but come on.
I've been a Bills fan for 40+ years. Yeah, "wide right" hurt. I was upset, I was disappointed. I get it. At the end of the day, this is a game for people's entertainment. There is NO reason people should be doing this.
If you happen to see Tyler Bass or contact him, just be a decent human being. No one deserves death threats.

The Bills will run out of money and player depth next year and waste the rest of Josh Allen's career going 6-11. Me being a fan, it makes me very sad, but that's what will happen.

I love how Buffalo ultimately got over the hump this season. They faced adversity and were at one point in danger of being a bottom-2 team in the AFC East. But once they figured themselves out they made one helluva run (thanks in part to the Dolphins all-time choke). I’m not a Bills fan, but if there was ever a year I’d have pulled for them to win it all it was this year 💔

Well another heartbreaking year. I really hope we can fix up some holes in our defense and honestly I think our offense played really well with the hand they were dealt. Joe Brady should be the OC next season, he did really well utilizing Cook and Allen's running capabilities as well as seeing that we have more receivers than just Diggs, and hopefully, hopefully we can do better next season(we won't) but there's always hope.
Watching the bills go through close playoff losses just make me wish that Tom Grossi had been around doing this in 2000. Reaction to the Music city miracle would have been amazing.

As a Steelers fan I was rooting for the Bills. We've gotten 6 Superbowl wins and frankly we didn't play well enough to deserve a 7th this year. The Bills have played well enough over the past 4 or 5 years to win at least one, and yet... it's always the Chiefs. Yes, I'm a Steelers fan, but I've had enough. Go Ravens.

On top of that, Bills would've had the ball with all 3 timeouts and almost 2 minutes left, so no, that call is not what lost KC the game. Get over it.

I didn't blame the refs. The refs got the call right. Just pointing out that the Bills needed a very rare call to accomplish it since it literally negated a lead changing play near the end of the game. We saw last week what happened when the Bills had a chance to tie near the end of the game.
