I just got a camry and honestly I'm surprised how nice it is. I thought it was going to be like a civic or a "taxi" car but it's really nice looking, has good acceleration, and has a range of upgrades. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a inexpensive but nice car and don't care about being too flashy.
Feel better soon... thank you for the dedication. Great review
I just got my 23 SE and coming from a Nissan I am extremely impressed with how well the car is put together and drives. My only complaint is that I wished that push & remote start were standard, but overall I’m extremely happy with my purchase
I have a 2015 SXE. This is my fourth Camry. Won't buy anything else. Love it. It has 45,000 miles. Very reliable car.
Damn! 45k is nothing, still brand new 👍I got the hybrid 2008 250k and still runs smooth.
Toyota Camry one of the best cars in the world Best in quality and reliability
Very good review, 👍 very informative for the base model.
Fantastic, glad to see Mason back!😸
Great video! Just bought my 2022 Camry SE and I love it!
Great review. Camry LE always a excellent choice @ is value packed.
Nice review on the Toyota Camry keep up the good work y’all
Cool video of the Toyota Camry!!! Fantastic job guys!!
just got mine the other day i absolutely love it
*My 02 Camry is still going strong...*
*I really do love the way, the SE/XSE models look though.*
Toyotas just don't break!!
They make the new ones so beautiful that we are tempted to give up our old ones
Mine is an LE 2004 and still going strong Yeah !!!
For SURE
I love my 02 Camry too
My 02 also going strong 80.000 miles
Just bought a silver 2022 Camry LE from that very dealership! Chris Stewart is a legend there, and about as laid back as any "salesman" you'll ever meet.
Hey - props to Mason for showing up despite the bummed knee & presumably itchy cast! High hopes for a speedy recovery - knees are tricky so be careful! Great review - car inventory is awful but nonetheless you guys are doing what you can with what you have - many thanks!
Thanks! He's moving into a much less restrictive brace and will start physical therapy next week 👍
This would be a Lexus 10 years ago. The Camry has really come up.
Looks great. Very thorough review! Got one on order due to arrive in three weeks!
Thanks!
Great vid. My first and second cars were camrys. I may need to make it a three-peat
Have a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
I just bought my 2022 Camry today straight off the truck. It's such a great price!! I am so excited.
Congrats on your new Camry!
I got the 2020 Camry XSE a month ago, and I’m in love with it.
So good to know ! Thanks, I’m still driving a 2004 LE and cannot wait to switch but dread the insurance price of a new car
Price +taxes?
nice thats even better since no cheap tablet display
thankyou for the great review.
I just purchased the 2022 camry le
with a couple extra options.
the price point is awsome.
I walked out the door with fees, tag and everything
right below 27grand so I did great
it looks like.
Omg they’re quoting me at $34K 😭😭
@@Cinderbellie same! I got it for 34$ 😑 but I’ve been waiting for 4 months car less
I really enjoy watching your reviews
useful & interesting
best of luck
It makes me want to get one.
A no nonsense car review 👍
hi good reviews, I wish you can do a review between camry SE vs XSE
ya take care AND THANK YOU
Is this interior considered the “light grey” option?
Hi Drew and Mason, Thanks for your great review of the 2022 Camry. I bought one yesterday. Camry LE AWD. How's Mason's knee?
Congrats!! He's fine now!
just bought this car today it’s amazing if you’re contemplating GO BUY IT!!
Do you think what is its good price? I love this car and am considering buying it.
Very happy with the seats and very happy with the car glad I bought it
sounds great... but there are none on the lots for sale. The few that ship are going for MSRP and usually more with dealer adds
I love Toyota as a brand, but man those used cars are so expensive! I guess that's good for the seller but for those of us trying to get one it is real pricey. That is a testiment of their reliability but idk if they have to be that expensive. Great reviews.
Yes they are I have a 2004 and it feels like new even after 100,000 miles
@@Jo3W3st Oh boy, what flawed thinking, shall we disect it? I lost braincells just reading your reply.
Same can be said about the Honda’s too, they’re expensive for used ones
@@vincentscott336 OR here me out, they retail a lot of their value due to their cheap parts.
@@Alckee6904 Hmmm… didn’t know that was a Honda thing, thought it was mostly Hyundai with the cheap parts/plastics parts
I have a 2022 Toyota Camry se and I love my car this is my fifth Camry I love the Camry they are great cars Toyota please keep up the good work
Thank u so much, I ordered the same car u reviewed, I think I will gonna to really get nice impressions, greetings from Russia 🤝🤝🤝
Great Review
Thanks!
I buy same one last week I really like it
Looks nice for me
With Totota...you get a generous amount of quality...with every car.
Is this the "predawn grey mica" with "ash fabric" interior?
Mason didn’t seem like himself in this review. Hope he is good: we all have our ups & downs. Thanks for your work brothers!
What did you guys think of the seat comfort, and in your opinion, is their one trim more comfortable than the others? Seat comfort is one of my primary concerns with the Camry. Lastly, what’s your preferred trim in the Camry?
I only drive Toyota
Toyota is the very best brand name not only in America but also around the world 🌎 and everyone knows that very well
Agreed 100% with you
Great presentation I would love the XSE to be my car and I think I can make it happens
Thanks!
Is this the grey/ash or black INterior?
How much is a convenience package on those
What color is the car in this video?
Silly question but due to covid pandemic I am unable to test drive one and compare to Škoda Superb so far, but I heard a lot about too short seats on the Camry. In your video the front seats don't seem like too short by any means, hence if I may ask, what is your height to have a rough estimate of whether I would complain about them or not, that would be heaps helpful :)
I am 5'8" for reference
@@CarConfections Thank you! I am 175cm so worth waiting for a test drive and giving it a try then!
Question re: Audio. I have several USB thumb drives, each with hundreds of songs or audio books. Does the LE's audio system accept/play these? In my present car I can select songs, artists, albums, tracks etc by voice command. LE do this?
Yes you can
That destination charge is absolutely ridiculous. This is the biggest ripoff by car manufacturers right now. The Camry is made in Kentucky, and this dealership is in Kentucky. You can't tell me it cost over $1,000 to get the car there.
It is what it is. If you don’t like it, buy used
Absolutely a ripoff
There is nothing new about destination charges- they’ve been around for at least 25 years. Interesting that you point that out. And you do understand that selling cars is a FOR PROFIT business for the manufacturer and for the Dealer and for the trucking company. Toyota isn’t going to make new labels and adjust destination charges just because 1 factory makes 1 model that happens to be close to 1 dealer. The government has rules and regulations about pricing and destination charges have to be the same across the board in the United States no matter what. Adjusting things would cause too much confusion in the back office. So of course customers pay for it.
Dang what happened to your leg bud? Hope you're ok and appreciate the dedication.
Mason dislocated his knee with a bad fall
@@ZapFlashD Ahhh ok. Thanks for the update 👍🏻
Dislocated knee. Thanks!
I'm so interested in to 2022 Toyota Camry LE or SE with Eco Mode that saves gas & safety features like adaptive cruise control & lane keeping assistance that will follow the government speed limit on each road including interstates!
Three minutes in “ We appreciate you watching for this long”
Wow I just bought one for my husband 2022
For what it's worth, your decibel readings are wildly different from Alex on Autos. For him, an average car would read 72 or 73; a Mercedes S Class or Lexus 460L would read in the high 60s. I'm not saying your reading are wrong - but apparently there are different decibel scales (?).
love the Camry
Me too. I have the XSE v6 2020
@@naveenthemachine Cool. I would get the XLE V6 if I got a Camry, but I would get an Accord anyday
how can someone love the camry?
@@kristians2704 ikr?
@@kristians2704 because we all have different opinions…
Nice
i think they forgot to update front indicator lights to some fancy flash light rather than some bulb
I have a 2016 Camry XLE V6, the seats in that one are not very comfortable, the 2002 I had previously was much more plush in comparison. Also the sound system in the 2016 leaves a lot to be desired, only one full size speaker in the rear deck. Curious if these are improved in the 2022, so far from the earlier comments, the seats have not. The V6 engine in the 2016 supplies plenty of power without pushing it hard. I hope I’m wrong, but I expect they will drop the V6 at some point. Also, I’m not sure I like how the touchscreens are mounted in the newer models; it looks like they glued an iPad on the dash.
From a 6’2 300 pound guy I found this to be very roomy, comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Just got one as a rental car from the airport on vacation👍I got the 2022 se version 4 cyl. Plenty of power and super mpg.
@@All.Eyez.On.Me.1 We're the same size and height. I'm trying to decide on 2022 SE camry or 2020 Honda Accord EX. I wonder how comfortable are the seats in the accord. You said camry is comfortable. I think im goin to test drive both of them.
Hi, could you please do a review on the Lexus LX 600,i want to see if it is worth the price
Yes, hopefully soon!
Very disappointed in the seats, we’ve always use to go base model on all our vehicles with the cloths seats. It seems older cars with cloths seats had super soft fabrics, this 2022 Camry has seats that look like their made from very cheap and coarse fabrics. My parents still own an ancient Honda Accord has super soft cloth seats that have held up beautifully. Almost feels like automakers are intentionally ruining base models to incentivize going for high trims. The seats are just a prime example. Why make comfy cloth seats that anyone would be satisfied with, when you can make terrible base model cloths seats and make people pay for more expensive leather. I’m very disappointed with the trends in today’s cars
I agree I miss the old school cloth seats from my parents Mazda’s from 1989 to about 2005. Same with Ford cloth. And so many others. Cloths have gotten course and scratchy and uncomfortable. Of course a lot of automakers, even Lexus, are implementing imitations leathers with various names like VTex leatherette or SofTex, or Lux, and so on. So you aren’t always offered leather but still spending more money. Things aren’t better than they used to be. It’s all going to hell.
My 2020 accord had the softest cloth I’ve ever felt in a car, followed by the suede in the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X
@@Yoursistersazz trust me when I say this but you haven’t felt comfortable cloth seats. Try sitting in, he’ll just look at the seats of any 25+ year old base Toyota Corolla. It’s a small car but the base cloth seats almost look luxury in how soft and pillowy they are. So plush they look like you can sink right through them
⁰
You can always improve your seating with extra prop
I sit myself on a silicone cushion
Keeps my rear so cool in the summer
In the winter comfy too
What the best selling Trim of the Camry 2022?
Thanks
The SE trim
@@CarConfections I went with the LE since the local dealers want an arm and leg for the SE, 2-3k more than the LE 🤨
I don't know why... don't like how the screen integrates with the cup holders. Looks tacky...anyone else?
Can you option on the JBL on the le or SE
No. You can get Audio Plus. The JBL suffers from rear deck rattle.
I like the 2022 Toyota Camry LE it’s very nice and great price
Thank you for posting
It’s beautiful now compared to the 2018 LE, plus I love that they changed the touch screen!
However not including push button start standard I’d rather buy a Accord
@@JM-cx6ze ok
Dear Toyota: Add a full screen gauge cluster
i got 2011 camry with 234K miles
The switchblade key fob is cool, inspired by VW! But the foot brake really sucks for 2022
lol I thought he had a pre-filmed version of himself in the passenger seat
I can get by with the exterior of the Camry LE/XLE but the interior has to go. I think the Accord beats it out by a smidgen overall because of the cleaner and upscale interior. SE/XSE is a definitely a no no.
I'll take the camry interior over the accord CVT and Turbo (both have issues and will wear out sooner, albeit still reliable) anyday!
Why do you say the SE/XSE is a no no?
@@olfactory_art Because Toyota is a try hard with its Gundam style grills and body kits.
Are you sure the XLE v6 is gone because on Toyotas website it still shows XLE v6
Toyotas website doesn't have it anymore when we look at it... 🤔
*camrys are epic!*
I was going to say exactly that
Camrys are epic so epic
2:15 don't ask what happened to his leg.
XLE V6 is still being made
I picked up a xle awd with panoramic roof for 28k in nov 2020 before the dealers got crazy with the markups.
That was smart Waheed. I got a new Mazda CX-5 in May of this year and dealers were getting stingy with the discounts. If money is no object I guess it’s no problem. 2 of my neighbors have purchased new cars. And paid retail plus a market adjustment
Oh and I looked at Camry’s a few times myself. I’ve always wanted a Toyota honestly but ended up liking the height of a crossover because I have back problems due to a car wreck that make it hard to get out of cars.
Good timing!
That's a steal! 28k can't even get you a civic this days
@@Reu_ag you ain’t lyin’
cool camry 3.5

The #1 Uber car in America. Why not?
alright im confused why did you just not have a cast in one scene, then in the next you had a cast?
Lolll their twins
I love the 2012 dashboard… oh it’s 2022now.. oops .
Lol
The family checked out an Accord and Camry and we skipped on both. The Accord was too big for us and the Camry was a bit tight. Checked out a K5 and went and bought one in LXS form. The mark-ups for the Accord and Camry were outrageous. One dealer was asking for $36K for a Sport SE Accord.
Please explain the $36k - that doesn’t mean anything to us if we don’t know what an Accord Sport SE usually goes for. Thanks
@@marcoscastellanos1 oh my large difference
Have you tried the Altima
front looks like Avalon. now no more for '22. why no front bumper? don't new cars need one. why only rear bumper? touch the front end and you have an expensive replacement. must reflect on insurance rates.
Toyota finally put automatic climate control on the LE! It bugged me they didn’t when the Corolla LE comes with it.
Which year for the corolla LE you referring too
@@alvinsimba734 I test drove a 2020 and it had it.
@@bigbean78 I do have one and it does have it indeed
Car dealerships don’t have any cars for sale!
They have lots of pre owned cars in my state- Oklahoma
"it has keyless entry and this is the key"... Eh ?
Keyless entry means you have a key with a unlock button to push. Smart entry means you can keep the fob in your pocket and still unlock/start the car
Still hard to beat the Accord
Unless it has the turbo and fuel solution issues then not so hard to beat
It beats it in units sold
SE is way to go, LE is so basic
If Toyota Camry is a "Midsize" car, what pray tell, is a full size car??
I think the v6 might die eventually 🥺

I agree Charles
Might as well get a Lexus es350 if you’re going to max out a Camry.
This car aged pretty fast looks so dated like an old appliance.
They need to add an all digital gauge cluster
The Analog tachometer and speedometer are so antiquated for today's cars. Hard pass!
Tried and true lol

It’s 2022 no digital cluster 👎🏼
The new carry dashboard is the most ugly you can ever see. What's with the curves.
