Thanks for doing a base model. It's a rarity. I was impressed how much you get for such a great price. Good job Toyota. There truly is a Camry for everyone. I like Honda also. But I think they could learn a lesson from Toyota. Not everything needs to be turbocharged.
Toyotas are the king of vehicles reliability, I bought a Camry LE model new in 2008 and til today it still runs and drive like the days I bought it. Currently it has 90k miles, drive better then most new cars hat I have driven. Hats off to Toyota!!!
Thanks for the review. This really helped me decide that the LE was the best value for an everyday driver. Test drove the SE, XSE and XLE but couldn't justify the added cost for "sporty" looks. It actually looks sporty enough. It also feels fun to drive after 10 years in a Rav4. I ended up installing aftermarket softex for durability. I call it budget my Lexus.
I own the 2020 LE 2.5 and am very satisfied overall with the entire car. However, I was unhappy with the transmission "gear-hunting situation at low speeds"...it has improved on it's own. I understand the computer takes some time to adjust to "how you drive." Now, almost 3 years later...I have bought a "top quality vehicle." Hiway milage is unbelievable. My last test...37.2 MPG...in the Sierra mountains!
I got a 2021 LE witn convenience and all weather packages and it has all the tech of a high trim one. The only thing I’m missing is leather. Love my Camry
I just recently traded my 2019 civic sport for the 2022. Camry LE AWD and so far it’s a pretty decent drive love the safety touch so does my wife I drive long for work and sometimes driving is a hassle but the car is very much alert 🚨
Great review. I'd take the Camry over the Altima you recently reviewed. Why the color Black?? Especially in Tampa Bay, Florida. I'd get only white or silver. Besides Black is a hard color to maintain
Thanks David! I agree this car gets insanely hot I can’t believe the forward collision camera overheated haha it looks pretty nice tho just park it in the shade 👍🏼
Great review as usual Will. I would really appreciate it if you could do a review of the Mazda 3 sedan. Either the 2.5S base model or the select. Thank you 😊

I rented one of these this past week. Put 2000 KM(Canada) on it. Very impressive. Wanted it for the gas mileage. Most vehicles around me seemed to have no problem cornering at 75 MPH on the highway. I had to slow down. I might have expected too much from it because my 2006 Charger does it effortlessly.
I wasn’t impressed with the 8spd constantly shifting trying to find the right gear in town. Also, there’s not enough torque from the engine so when you’re trying to pass someone on high speeds or uphill, it has to down shift twice because a gear or two down won’t give sufficient acceleration. So let’s say you were at 8th gear, give some gas and now it’s at 5th gear, but you still don’t get the power you need and it has to go into 3rd gear. Because of this behavior, at the end of the day, the gas pedal becomes more of on/off switch.
Make sure it's not in Eco mode. The other thing is that the trans is adaptive. It takes a few hundred miles to get used to your driving style. If you drive a pre-owned one you can ask the dealership to reset it. I found no problem with the power under all circumstances.

Agreed the 2.5 and 8-Speed are the sole reason I’d buy this over it’s competition! Appreciate the comment 👍🏼

Sounds like a nice car man good luck with it!! 🙏🏼
There are excellent aftermarket seat upgrades from real leather to softex. I got one which looks like OEM.

Thank you for testing that car for me, because I would never drive my new car like that, actually I never go above 4000 RPM 😀
Lol glad I could help!! 👍🏼
Bro this was a great review
Great video!
It should really come with a 6-speed manual.
@@EpicDrew15 Yeah I know, it's a pity. It would be great with a stick.
Could you pls do the Corolla Cross Hybrid when it hits dealerships?
I’ll keep a lookout and try getting one asap! 👍🏼
it does the job.
Soooo today 7/19/23 I just traded my 2015 sprinter van for a 2022 toyota camry LE
I was told I couldn't go wrong with a toyota camry 🤔
Price?
Are the lights auto at dark? or in the rain?
Yes they are auto and auto high beam too when it's super dark the high beam turns on and when a car is by it closes by itseld
There’s actually a trunk release underneath the Y in camry
For real?? I was looking for about a minute and couldn’t find it lol
Only there for models w smart key.
Can thy be had in stick
Does the le have remote start ?
No
ugh this is so plain .. how do they not have a bigger screen or push to start?!!
This is the cheapest model of the Camry. If you want those then upgrade to the XLE.
Watch out for those cops hahah!
Does the transmission have a dipstick?
No...
Is this car in Ghana
That south east options list is a load of BS I would never buy a toyota in the south!
