THANK YOU! You helped me make the decision between the 2! I want the LE! I like it because the front grill like you said, looks more sharp and "luxurious", I like the single exhaust in the LE, I also like the slick low level "natural" spoiler with the LE. Probably will get the LE and add 4WD!!! thanks a lot
I had a 2018 se in black until a woman ran a red light and totaled mine I can’t wait for my settlement to come so I can go right back and buy in this same color I love that blue with the grey interior great video Jeff keep up the good work
Although I'd think I'm more of an LE type, I like the SE much better. Front grill, wheels, etc. I have a silver one with black interior, but it's not a "dark" black. I like it a lot so far. Had a 2005 Camry LE but someone rear-ended me and totaled her so now I have a 2021 SE.
Thanks so much for posting this. I’m from Milwaukee. I just bought the SE in Bluprint last week. I love it; it’s the most luxurious car I’ve ever owned. The color is absolutely beautiful.
Thanks Jeff for your video as it helped us decide on a 2021 Camry Le with cold weather and convivence packages. We hope to have the car by the end of the month. I am writing to you from central PA.
Thanks for the comparisons. I"ll take a LE in white with tan interior because 17 inch tires are better for tough roads I drive and cloth seats feel better than the ones in SE. Hiwever I do like the sporter look of the SE exterior better but I will sacrifice this for the comfort and softer suspension of the LE. I am on my way to buying the LE and hope I can get a good deal. 🥰😊😄😉😆
The XSE fully-loaded ends up being Lexus-level luxury in a Camry with the leather seats, heated & ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, the panoramic sunroof, the 7” gauge cluster display, the upgraded JBL premium audio system, the 9” center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, & Amazon Alexa, the option for AWD, & a Head-Up Display
damn, that sucks. Taking a new car to an automatic car wash where it's gonna get tons of paint damage. If I ever buy a new car, I want it straight off the truck with all the plastic still on it because most dealerships destroy the paint before they sell the car.
The LE interior is more plush looking and the SE is very cold and mechanical. I had a 2016 SE and LOVED IT but sadly it is gone now so I am in the market for a new one. I used to like the SE but I am digging the look of the LE. The front end on the LE looks like more of a NASCAR, and the SE looks like the 2012-2014 model.
Aw Jeff, you know we like you! Another great comparison video, thanks! I like this 2021 refresh of the Camry and must say the new front grille of the LE is a huge improvement over the 2018-2020 LE 'catfish' monstrosity. Well done, Toyota. Still, the SE grille looks better but I'm torn between the old and new SE grille, I like them both. The new SE wheels look awesome, I prefer them over the wheels on my 2019 SE, while the boring LE wheels fall well short of either SE wheel. However I'm sure the 17" LE wheels are more forgiving of bad potholes than 18" SE wheels and both are less likely to be damaged by road hazards than 19" XSE wheels. Moving to the rear end, again the SE looks better than the LE so from any angle I like the SE exterior better than the LE. The new Blueprint color is nice but I probably wouldn't buy such a dark color considering how hot it is in the summer. The SE interior also wins, SoftTex, steering wheel, climate control and trim. I like the ash gray SE interior better than the beige LE interior however I got the black interior with my Super White SE, a great contrasting combination. I'm still deciding whether I like the new 2021 tablet touchscreen or the pre-2021 embedded screen. I'd have to compare them in person. Overall I think the 2021 SE is well worth the extra $1500 over the LE.
I like the leather wrapped steering wheel but I like the fatter looking tires on LE . I picture more stiffer ride w/ low profile tires on SE . I really like that blue color too , real sharp !!
I can’t believe Toyota didn’t put a push button start on those vehicles for that price. Thumbs down for cheaping out on that simple, inexpensive feature, Toyota.
It's just something else to break when at the same time over half of American cars from the 90s arnt even on the road anymore. One can see 90s Camrys on the road every outing. Push to start elemates the true car experience in my opinion.
Would like the SE with LE wheels, we've always have had Toyotas in the family, the first one i remember was a Corona. By far this is one of the best looking camry Toyota has put out. Drove a LE and I was really impressed handle well, enough power for a four cylinder, very modern.
Having a plastic steering wheel made me go for the SE instead of LE. It makes it feel a little less like a rental car. I could care less about bigger wheels because I like a smoother ride, but it drove smoother than my 2013 ES350 with the 18 inch wheels. If SE came with LE wheels I would not mind
I'm happy with my 2021 se blueprint with keyless entry and black interior. Love this vehicle. Smooth drive. I traded it for my 2019 rav4 xle awd because I didn't like the 8 speed transmission
Going from a 99 Mercedes I was drawn to the look of the LE more and didn’t know why until you mentioned it has a more luxury look. First thing I’m going to do is get leather seats. Only thing I hate about it.
Is there any difference in comfort at highway speeds with 17 vs 18 inch rims? Also, what's the name of the paint? In Europe the blue variant is called "Dark Blue M M (8W7)" is that the same we see in your video?

Hiya, Jeff! I'm from San Francisco. Of these 2 trims, i MUCH prefer the SE. I just like the sportier vibe, without it going off the deep end of being gaudy. I think I actually prefer the integrated infotainment screen on the 2020 model, though. I don't love that "floating" style. It looks kinda haphazardly tacked-on. I might lease a 2020...
I just got a 21 SE with the standard "switchblade" key and tried that but it doesn't work. Might only be available with the smart key/convenience package? Toyotajeff in Raleigh you want to weigh in on this?
I wonder if there's an option for the SE that has a steering wheel not wrapped in leather. The leather is definitely more premium, bit where I live is always hot and that wheel would look to burn my hands if I get in after a long day of work.
leather steering wheels are not good they look glossy with time but the synthetic wheel always stays matte. drive with gloves if you have leather to avoid it becoming glossy lol base models are pretty good, lacking gimmicks i guess. things you can live without, really.
Nice. Annoyingly in New Zealand the interiors are boring black and the exterior colours are very limited. They still haven't got the front right in my opinion. looks like a snow plough.

Base price of each model is only $1,500 difference Great comparison video

SE/XSE has the best looking front.
i prefer the xse because of the rims and standard 9 inch screen.
