@@michaelcruz7704 andy has cancer i believe its his prostate, but hes getting much better.his doctor has him on some new cancer drugs that are brand new .he wasnt able to make the rock and roll holf because of the cancer.

You can tell the drug effect after Notorious. Albums went downhill. Dreary. Meandering. Lifeless. God awful. Listen to Ragged Tiger, then Big Thing. Holy crap it's like 2 completely different bands. They made a decent comeback years later with Astronaut. But, it ain't the same. Just play the hits, fellas. Play the hits.
andy sadly couldnt get along with nick rhodes and the drugs didnt help.missing andys great guitar playing for me made duran along with the others musicly.they had a great singer,song writer and johns bass is very underated .loved dd back in the day.
I never knew why Andy left in 1986, now I know. Drug addiction and by leaving the band, he saved his own life.

Prostate cancer has nothing to do with drug addiction. Andy quit drug addiction YEARS ago. His dad died from prostate cancer, so it was genetic.
