damn that grandma can sing
😂
Babushka Gerard must be protected at all costs.
🤣
Kkkkkk
hausausasahushsu
The most punk-rock babushka I've ever seen.
Yessir
She gets down anywhere 😂
Jackie Kennedy
I love seeing Gerard be so completely comfortable in his own skin. As a fan since damn near the beginning, it makes my heart happy ❤
Totally! It is a thing of beauty and a true joy to watch.
Good Luck!
Great to see a performer care about their audience safety and not just get wrapped up in their own performance.
Gerard proving definitively that vocalists do not necessarily peak and start to decline after their 30's if they take care of their instrument. I'm sure Gerard has worked with a vocal coach over the last few years and it really shows, just listen to that high note in Helena! Gerard literally sounds better than ever.
You have to be kidding, he intentionallly avoided and couldn't hit many notes anymore. his voice is gone sadly.
The majority of the comments here seem to disagree. Compared to a lot of live vocals in the genre, even vocalists half Gerard's age, I would say this sounds super solid. There might be dodged notes but a lot of it just sounds like playful variation. Helena is half step down but that's still a very solid, tough to sing Bb4 in the chorus to my ears anyway.
@@Felix-bb2rx yes brother people are delusional I’ll see this stuff all over the Internet trying to say people been 30 or 40 years later sound like they did when they was 20 is a lie, nobody does someone might be still doing pretty good but it’s not exactly the same, it’s obvious to me most of these people don’t sing as good 20+ years later
I'm pretty sure it's genetical also I'm not sure a vocal coach can really prevent a voice from degrading.
Plenty of musical theater and opera singers maintain their voice well into their later years. Voices tend to darken and deepen over time but with proper training and healthy habits you can keep it intact for a long time.
GOD. What I'd pay to go to an MCR concert.
That's okay, binge watching them at 2 in the morning are a nice alternative.
Almost died during this set but still had a great time. I can't believe I actually got to see them live. What an amazing show and so worth the wait
Highlight of my life. I was there, and i'll never forget it.
Same. Unforgettable. Love rewatching.
I feel like my chemical romance haven’t changed at all i wish I could say thank you for making my teenage years bearable
Me too!!!😁
👍👼😇 MCR is the 1 N only my favourite Band 👍😇👼🕺
It's beautiful to see Gerard come into his own. He seems more confident and he's such a creative legend.
Nahh. The dresses are not needed. He doesn't have to be more edgy than he perfectly was. Gerard Way is dead. I'll still listen to his first album most of my life though, cause that was the real Gerard Way/MCR that was never forced to do music that needed to be mainstream or do stupid public stunts like this.
@@GNTKID hahaha
At this point he's scoring points with the gays. Sucks they are such good songwriters and don't need the theatrical gay bullshit.
@@buttheadbutthead Buddy have you ever seen MCR? They've been doing "Theatrical gay bullshit" Their whole career lol
@@ludwigii9329 that’s the funniest part. They’ve been doing stuff like this since the beginnings 😂
Props to you for getting such a stable video. That was probably the craziest/scariest crowd I've been in since SOAD at Sonic Temple a few years ago.
I live in Columbus that show was insane!!
I was 6 rows from the front and it was absolutely terrifying but I had such a good time!
Have you actually been to a real show? I've seen mcr three times on this run and there's not even been real pits. Do you go to hardcore shows or anything like that? All I see is a bunch of people being crammed in, nothing actually scary at all?
Yeah i was pretty far up and at first I almost thought I was gonna get crushed.
I pity you if you think that crowd experience was crazy. Try coming of age in the late 80’s/90’s underground scene
This sound quality is unreal! Thank you so much for this!
From all the latest videos of them performing I’ve seen, it seems that Mikey is the biggest fan of MCR hahaha. Makes me so happy to see him being more emotional and active on stage than ever
Definitely a new Mikey 🤣🤣🤣
Nah, it's Frank
Oh, I'm so glad someone caught a full video of this! I was super far back and couldn't see at all.
37:39 Gerard's neighbor is french y'all, that's some epic MCR lore right there
I did not get much video from them cause i was singing and crying my eyes out, thank you
This was a wild night. My friend and I were way back and someone had a seizure or something by us right before Helena. Everyone around was flashing their phones and screaming for help, but obviously we were in the thick of the crowd so it was very hard to hear. Eventually a medical team came in and got them. Hope they are okay :(
omg I think I was right in front of them i was so scared! I hope they are ok!
Were there any openers? About how long after show start did they come on?
@@dirty1067 It was a music festival, people were standing at this stage since 12:30 pm and waiting for them until they came on at 8:00
I was right by there too! ):
I saw the dude come through with the wheelchair 😬 I hope that person didn’t see NIN. Their light show was insane.
Was I at this concert? Yes. Did I watch this video all the way through anyways? Yes.
Lmao same cause being 5'2 in this pit was...not great visually
same, because I was in the back and could not see much :(
Thank you for uploading! I was there in the back ❤️ could only see the screen parts of the time
best recording of the show ive found yet, thank you!!! this show was incredible, my first time seeing them after being a fan since 2011.
It amazes me how good he still sounds and how they all are still so good after all this time and nun of them really look all that old ether I mean definitely different than when they were 20 but that expected, but they are, and will continue to be amazing I love pretty much all of songs, not gonna lie.
Love how every few songs at every got they are checking to make sure the fans are safe and getting them to back up. I seen them at Milton Keynes and then Warrington and I need to see them again!
Thank you so much for recording, so we all can join the hype 🙌
at the end of wttbp when u see a pink haired dude crowdsurfing that was me!!! felt like the best song to crowdsurf to
oh yeah i saw lol
lucky you!
Hi, Thanks so much for filming and uploading this. I was towards the back and could only see the big screen mostly. I did glance at the stage and see made sure to see them on the actual stage and they looked like tiny ant people. This recording looks like a completely different show then I saw from the back. Love seeing Mikey moving around so much. He's so happy.
Same! I had an okay spot in the middle during Taking Back Sunday but I had to pee so bad it was painful. So by the time MCR was on I just had to watch the screen the whole show (and I didn't even have a good view of that).
THANK YOU SO MUCH seeing them in such good quality feels insane
Thank you for recording and upload it❤️
This is amazing you got all of it and kept the camera straight haha I feel like Im there - Thank youuuuuu thank you :)
Amazing you got a recording like this and thanks so much for uploading! I was fighting for my life for most of the show, so couldn't enjoy a lot of it.
Esto va a ser un desmadre en México 😂💕 thank you so much for recording this!
Saw them in the pit at NYC a couple weeks ago, they did the same thing with pushing the crowd back, as well as every couple songs security was handing out dozens of bottles of water so everyone in the pit could get hydrated, it honestly saved me because by the third song i felt like i was gonna pass out
Never seen them live but it was really nice to see this. now I love him even more especially in his kerchief and dress!
I THINK I SAW YOU BRO I WAS THERE TOO
MCR is best Band 🎼🎶🎵🎤🎹🎸🥁🏆👍👼😇
Same here by Ghost of you I was on the verge of going down but got a bottle just in time for my favorite song, Venom
Not only am I short and the crowd was so unsafe near the front and throughout, but I also lost my prescription glasses that night before their set even started. So thank you very much for filming and sharing
This is such a great video. Good job! And thank you for uploading this. I’m seeing them next week in LA. I’m crying now, I can’t imagine what I’m gonna be like in person! Lol
Perfect, my phone was pretty much dead and I figured someone would have a better video of this! I thought I’d never get to see MCR live!
That's a good choice. I do that too at shows, 19/20 times someone else will have a better video on the internet than you'd get anyway. I take a few photos just for posterity and proof I was there lol but other than that it's just dance, rock, enjoy the music, the fellow music lovers, it's much better with your phone put away.
Or you could just… watch the show. And probably remember it better. Because you were watching it. Nuts.
I’m seeing them in a few weeks and I really hope they keep this EXACT set list because I will bawl my eyes out the whole time !!
Thank you so much for recording and uploading this!
Thanks for uploading the whole mcr concert I couldn’t see anything because I was all the way to the back by the sound booth
They still sound awesome! I'm blown away.
it was a great night. was so happy to see them after 15 years!
omgg thank you for uploading!!
Sounds better here than it did in the back,l. In the back you hear people singing and I was like dang it let me hear him.Thank you for recording,i was to happy for this in the moment.
Thank you for filming 🎥 🎉
amazing recording my friend!! thank you so much !!
Frank Iero defined my existance in the 2000's - Thanks for the memories
This is also a pretty epic setlist. All the best songs in one convenient package.
been there done that! such a great concert and cheers to you for recording this concert!
Thank you so much.
Worst crowd etiquette I've ever been in but that was a show I'll never forget. Camped out a good spot not far from the front and it was soooo good
how early did u have to be
@@lilcarpet about two hours, but there was two stages next to each other so we got to watch another band while we waited
Just saw them in Boston recently and relived my exceptional experience with this video. Love riot fest wish I could have went
Thanks so much for recording and uploading! I was busy fighting for my life out there so it's nice to be able watch this again, but in a chill environment lmao
one of my all time favorite bands- thank you for sharing
god bless you for getting so much footage of Frank
That's pure talent!!! Right there!!!! I miss those days when i'm on highschool. Thank you for givin' me a short Time Travel.
Thank you for sharing this! I went to the show in Atlanta after this Riot Festival show and G went on to say that shit went wrong in Chicago and thanked their crew for going above and beyond - he said it got really scary... so it must have been pretty awful for the squished people. I hope everyone was OK!!
Thank you soo much for this! I was behind the sound booth and had a terrible view! Sounded fantastic though!!
Its my senior high schoo moments dude !!
Thank you so much !!
You bring my memory back !!l
Thanks for upload this vdo.
So much fun I miss riot thanks for uploading 🖤
Thank you for the video 🥰
Damnn, I can't wait to see them on November!!! Myself from 5 years ago wouldn't believe I'm so close to make a dream come true!
Thank you phonixrai.. you are the best ❗️
hydration game: take a big swig every time gerard has to ask the crowd to back up/let people out who are gonna pass out!
Thanks. I really wanna see them live again
As a big Frank fan who was there and couldnt see him from being in the pit and being short...thank you 🥰
Thank you for uploading!!
Our pleasure!
Sadly I was so close to passing out I had to leave 30 minutes into the show but I’m so glad someone uploaded this so I can see the rest
I'm seeing them in two weeks, I can't wait!
The drummer is crushing it
I saw My Chem once at Warped Tour. They were going on right before Fall Out Boy and it was during the Three Cheers tour. When I say that I've yet to see a crowd become as ravenous as they did when a band hits the stage, I'm saying that as someone who has countless shows in the past 15 or 20 years. IMMEDIATELY the band had to start telling people to back up because it was just this unstoppable wave of kids surfing and moshing everywhere. I kinda felt bad for FOB having to come on after that. Like, how do you top it? Good on Gerard and Co. for not being dicks and acknowledging that there NEEDS to be a bit of space. They don't want their fans getting hurt.
im seeing them tonight i can not wait!!!
god i hope i can watch them live someday 😢 so many memories..!!!!
Omg I love this band they all seem more happy and care free now and I am living for it.🎼🎸❤️❤️🔥
i was center stage barricade and somehow managed to last right up till the end. most terrifying and best night of my entire life
What was happening? Ive never seen a singer take so many times to calm down and push back a crowd
@@studio94video the pit was a disaster. the festival completely screwed up and sold too many tickets without hiring enough security/water stations and didnt account for how popular mcr would be. people were breaking their legs and passing out and having seizures. i was basically diagonal the whole show. i felt terrible for the band actually cause at one point they saw my friends and i getting crushed and got frantic :( they saved lives by stopping so much, i seriously cannot tell you how amazing it was that they did that
@@mira-ih2yo that is standard fare 8/10 times the fans are fanatical. Its a rush for the barricade all the time
@@soup8786 i’m very aware, however this was unprecedented and unexpected. that’s why the band stopped so much and had their production manager come out to calm us down. if you look up any audience reviews of the show, the pit was violent and dangerous to the point of actual outrage. the band was incredible but it was so genuinely dangerous down there.
@@mira-ih2yo that's how it felt at milton keynes on the Saturday. We had to move back like 4 or 5 times and the pits were causing people father back to be pushed down and crushed under the ripple. At warrington the following week it was much nicer. Depends on the people as well.
Me llena de dicha ver a mikey sonreír en todo momento y sentirse tan lleno de vida💖
Nostalgia hits hard😢❤
I was here and it was amazing
Can't wait to hear them again in Las Vegas!.
this was my first mcr concert experience and it was incredible
from nashville here, they did am amazing set there, but damn, alot of these songs i would have loved to hear. all that being said, glad i got to see them once again.
Thank you MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE🤘🏾🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✌🏾🇺🇸
Great video mane
My friend and I were litteraly like two people behind you lmaooo. I was wishing I had more vids so thank you!
Also I wish the people complaining about us not backing up could understand that we literally couldn’t 😭😭
Omg hey Lin ✌🏼
Muchas gracias por esto
México can’t wait for this! ❤
I’m so exited for see to MCR 🥰🤩
I can’t believe Gerard is dressed up as a grandma 😂😂😂
hes dressed like jackie kennedy i believe :)
Love this band since 2007 bro
But 2002 im just only 2 years old that time haha i found them at 2007 listening to a CD AT 7 years old headbanging in the front of speaker haha.those good old days will never get old period.
That was an awesome concert!!!
I saw them in OKC and damn this is amazing! It's soooooo great to see MCR back again!!!!
Que emoción de verlos y escucharlos!!!! ✨💥💖
Remember waking up to my sister playing their music, at that time i was young but through the years it stuck to me and i really just never felt so close to any other band like i do with mcr
This was one of the greatest things I've ever experienced. Being able to relive this is actually saving my life right now. Thank you for this.
I’m so very glad this and mcr is helping you❤️ never give up ❤️
35:13 thats the voice of a angel
Frank's back up vocals❤️
It’s crazy. I went to firefly best night of my life. I’ll never forget it. And they literally sound amazing still.
I still can’t believe I saw them after more then half a year
Where is Gerard and why theres a grandma singing?
IM JEALOUSSSSSSS THOOOOO wanna go to their concert too ugh
