I see a lot of people making fun of him and talking about how fat he got, but honestly if you truly care about that you can't call yourself a true fan. He is so much more than what he looks like. He has a kid now so he has bigger priorities than being pretty. I myself still find him just as attractive as he was back in the day.

Cool and laid back? He’s literally uncomfortable, fidgeting nonstop and sweating like crazy which he is constantly wiping away.
Not shitting on him or anything, nothing wrong with that and the man is an absolute legend but cool and laid back is not him.
Gérard is eating and that is all that matters. I hope he's healthy drinking a glass of milk. 😂 getting all his veggies and vitamins. Just being as healthy as possible so he can live as long as possible so we can continue to see him evolve. he's such a great guy.

This makes me tear up. What a legend. Absolutely incredible human being and writer. His music touched my life in high school and got me into reading his comics, which are equally as amazing. He's the reason I have the desire to live a creative and meaningful life. I really couldn't be more thankful.

When I was in my mid 50’s I took my young teen daughter to a Chemical Romance concert, Expecting not much, but as soon as they opened, I was a big fan. All my daughter talked about was this band. OMG. So a couple years ago, I’m 65 (always fan boy) and she’s saying oh my God dad you gotta read umbrella academy, on and on. Then show comes out on Netflix, and to finally appease her, I watched. Now I am big fan of his works. So talented and great thinker.

And honestly, since everyone's complaining that he got "old", even if that would be totally normal, he still looks the same to me: it's just the beard and the long hair, his face hasn't changed, he has zero wrinkles. Gerard is so genuinely sweet and caring. the way he talks about his friends and the people he works with is so full of love and kindness. thank you so much for having him and talking to him about the artsy aspects of mcr as well. him talking about that (and his approach to art and comics in general) just warmed my heart!

Nobody has said anything about his weight but imma say this, I'm glad that he isn't starving himself anymore (he starved himself to look skinney when he was with the band) and I'm so glad to see him healthy and eating again!
The way Kevin realized he'd been talking for 10 minutes straight and immediatly gave the floor to Marc, and the way Marc never interrupted Kevin while he was asking his questions.. I love seeing respect like that between friends, when you don't have to fight for your spot cause ur homie's got your back and you're both considerate of one another.

I am so fucking proud of Gerard, I can't even begin to express into words. people who focus on his physical appearence, why so shallow? did you even LISTEN to what he had to say? did you get the enthusiasm in his voice and see the sparkle in his eye when he talks about something that he loves? look how much heart and soul and passion he put into making comics (and music, and everything he does) and that's the thing we should be focusing on. imagine if he'd see the comments on here.. it would be disappointing to him that his fans don't *get it* yknow? i'm so proud of him for making his dream come true and being happy, and i'm sure everybody is. just try to be respectful. it bothers me to see negativity in this context.

I'm so proud of Gerard. He's lucky that he finished his bucket list. Thanks for the inspiration silent Bob and Gerard. Currently writing my own project and plan to present it later on youtube or something. Still trying to find out how to show it without getting the ideas stolen. Literally just started rn and im already 6 pages in. I be getting the most random ideas in my head and they make me go crazy at times. People always said to write them down but i never believed in that type of stuff but this year has been an eye opener. I feel this is my calling.
