Hey everyone! This is most likely going to be my last "new" gunpla review for a while. I've got nothing else planned until the 1/100 Lupus arrives in late November. I may dip into my backlog of Mastergrades but don't expect any of the recent IBO kits to be reviewed (none of them interest me). Regular non-gundam related reviews will continue.
Febrian satrio rinanto pamung kas at the end of his video on the lower right is his Twitter name which is his real name and I think u can afford the ten bucks for a lupus
bro you are the best gundam reviewer I've seen by far.. enjoy every single one of it. i collect hot toys, neca, marvel legends but never gundam kit before... but watching all of your video i think i got to pick up a few now... i really like the buster gundam
***** well thats because I'm more into marvel... Its sad that i just found your channel lol.. I know a few other gundam reviewer but its.. Boring to watch i guess. Some people just put me to sleep. Yours is more entertaining...
You did an excellent job on the paint for this kit! It's beautiful! May i just ask what paint you used to get the chrome gold finish on certain areas of the inner frame? Also i just want to say that I've been a fan of your work (reviews of figures, gunpla, etc.) since last year. Keep up the good work man!
Am excited for the 1/100 Lupus too. I like that it has actual sub-arms with claws for the backpack like the ones it used to finish off a grunt suit. Looking forward to your review! Nice paint job on the HG as usual! 💪
are you intentionally evasive about your weathering technique? it looks awesome and i would like to try it on my kits, do you use the Tamiya weathering master sets? that and brush type gundam markers would be my guess for how you highlight those raised edges and paneling...
The moment the video reached the before and after details added, I was like "DAAAAMMMMNNN". I had to rewind a bit just to make sure it's not a screenshot from the anime. You did an insanely good job on it.
Incredibly impressed with the paint job! I'm also really glad I found your channel, as I missed the semi-professional rrobbert184-type gunpla reviews here on YT. Fantastic job, you got a subscriber.
Holy crap does Barbartos Lupus looks buff and sexy. The thicker legs, longer and wider arms and the longer crotch-plate and skirt armor make the Lupu look better than the original Barbatos. Essentially fixing all of the old Barbartos' design issues.
I'm not as interested in the Full Mechanics as I am in the mid-season upgrade or the final version of the Barbatos. So far the only IBO kit I've purchased is the 1/100 NG Grimgerde, although Hobbylink TV also sent me Carta's Graze Ritter. All the same, IBO Option Set 5 has enough in it that you could probably get it even if you don't need the arm canons.
ok so its been driving me crazy how in the hell do you pant your kits like this one for example i really really wanna know because it makes them stand out so nicely
The kit appears to have been panel-lined, then airbrushed to enhance shadow and detail. Pastel dry-brushing could produce similar results as airbrushing.
wish we can get thruster effect parts too for kits. cuz, tbh, when posing gundams in an aerial type of pose looks kinda awkward and looks less expressive. wish bandai can go an extra mile to do that
Hello Type V3 I would like to know what you used for the weathering for your GUNDAM IBO kits also how you shaded the edges of the all the Barbatos Lupus to help improve my skill on the kits during their builds. Thank you for you vids and recommendation.
hello TYPE V3. I'm really curious about the edge detail that you've done on this kit. it's so "Astig!" did you use tamiya weathering master? set e for the grey or set c for the gun metal maybe?
Please review next the RG Strike Freedom Gundam. I'm thinking to buy it and I want to hear its pros and cons from you. Your reviews are amazing! More power bro!
i want too buy one that is sprayed like this so I an look over it in person and understand how and why people spray like that it looks amazing man keep it up
Hi, I love your weathering technicques.... would you please create a Tutorial on how to achieve the deisgns on your Gunpla's edges... Thank You Very Much... LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT REVIEW...
typeV3, as somebody that's still somewhat new to gunpla, I'd love to know how you achieve adding the darker shades to the edges of parts like you do in that kit. I've done panel lining and standard painting, but haven't experimented with something of that calibur.
Hey Type V3, I was just curious. What method do you employ to get your weathered effects on the Lupus's armor plates? I love the gradients that you create with it.
Which ever you like more honestly lol, Hope you got it, i'm getting Lupus since i'm almost finished with the first season and loving the show, should be with me by the time I get to season 2
Can TYPE V3 or anyone else please kindly give their opinion on my question? I just became interested in buying these kinds of builds and would you recommend this Gundam to a first timer? Or is there any other good ones to start with?
Good Day sir. I apologize beforehand for the noobness of my question. I'm new to Gunpla building and my girlfriend gave me two sets of Gunpla markers for Christmas. Before I use them I was wondering is there proper way to store them? Laying down, standing up, with the tip down? I'd be grateful for any advice.
Man, this is one sick paint job. How'd you do the weathering? Is this painted by airbrush or spray cans? Thanks in advance. You're build just inspired me to grab one :)
sonicrockmanx Hey man, thanks for the heads up! If I may. Do you have any idea on how I can paint the eyes of HG kits? Just so you know, I'm transitioning from MG to HG, and my painting knowledge for MG is just the basics. May you help me out on this one? Thank you so much!
+Frederick Castro - Honestly I don't build Gundam kits as its been a LONG TIME since I even purchased one or touched one since my old HG Gundam Wing kits, which my last Gundam I ever built was the HG Gundam Wing Endless Waltz kit. But I do know how the basics of building a kit/resin kit in general. But for painting Gundam eyes, from my knowledge and experience, the easiest way to paint Gundam eyes is leave them on the runner/tree (what ever its called now) its way easier to handle them like this. Don't have the other parts around the eyes on the runner though if your going to air brush or spray paint them. But leave them on the runner, paint them or apply the sticker, let it dry if painted, and then cut it off the runner. For painting eyes, you can use clear paints, or even sharpie markers too. Then just clear gloss, matte, and so on, let them dry, and then cut them off the runner. I hope all this info is what your looking for and helps.
Excuse me...this is personal message from me to TYPE V3..i really want a gundam but i dont know where to buy and how to know it quality...so can you pm me please....
Hi, this is actually my first gundam i made. And i just completed building it like 30 mins ago (Took me 4 hours ;-;) Was it a good idea to actually start out on this?
CaptainMed Yes, All HG are suited to be built by begginers, But some are harder than others. Since this was your first build, build one/two more HG or 1/100 before moving on to the big boys on the block the MG and RG. If your planning on going farther (PG), You'll need a couple MG build behind you.
IF YOU GET AN ERECTION LASTING MORE THAN 2 HOURS AFTER SEEING THAT PAINT JOB YOU SHOULD CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR AND TELL HIM HOW SICK THAT PAINT JOB WAS
Haroldini Milo why tell your doctor when you can show him the sick paintjob?
That paint job is really sick. Make me want to be able to do the same thing
Cringe
It's amazing how far the HG line has come.
always love how you do the oob build and then go all out on the hyper detailing!
providing a quick and very impackful review.

TYPE V3 what did u use in the gold paint job. is it paint or marker. whats the name. pls response
The best part of your gunpla reviews are the transition from in snap build to awesome paint jobs. 👍
You did an excellent job on the paint for this kit! It's beautiful! May i just ask what paint you used to get the chrome gold finish on certain areas of the inner frame? dude you just made my day
are you intentionally evasive about your weathering technique? it looks awesome and i would like to try it on my kits, do you use the Tamiya weathering master sets? that and brush type gundam markers would be my guess for how you highlight those raised edges and paneling...
Astronopolis I'm not being evasive, I just don't care to teach anyone.
The moment the video reached the before and after details added, I was like "DAAAAMMMMNNN".
I had to rewind a bit just to make sure it's not a screenshot from the anime. You did an insanely good job on it.
This is the first gunpla model I've purchased and I love it! Have to admit, that your paintjob looks astonishing, too!
The added details here are the best I've seen so far! I love the added gold on the frame...
the painting job you did on this was PHENOMENAL PHENOMENAL PHENOMENAL OH MY GOD PHENOMENAL
Incredibly impressed with the paint job! I'm also really glad I found your channel, as I missed the semi-professional rrobbert184-type gunpla reviews here on YT. Fantastic job, you got a subscriber.
That upgrade to production quality was a fantastic improvement. Good work man!
I love watching these reviews to see your opinion and the paint and touch ups are awesome
Holy crap does Barbartos Lupus looks buff and sexy.
The thicker legs, longer and wider arms and the longer crotch-plate and skirt armor make the Lupu look better than the original Barbatos. Essentially fixing all of the old Barbartos' design issues.
Your painting and panel lines look amazing on this kit! Super well done
The soundtrack makes this video 1000x more awesome
ooh, that classy black outrow backround
hey which is by far the most best and cool MS from IBOkits
My vote is for the Grimgerde.
NeoN Gaming toss up between this and the grimgerde
BTS&EXO IS LIFE id say astaroth origin
Gundam Bael is straight up Royal 👑
You paint it so amazing. I hope that you will make a video painting 1/100 scale
I like what you've did on the humongous V fin. VERY Sharp!
Is there a shading tutorial? This looks amazing!
you paint all your gunpla so well!!
I'm not as interested in the Full Mechanics as I am in the mid-season upgrade or the final version of the Barbatos. Pant?
u added awesome detail to the kit
Do you have any painting videos? I'm curious what paints you use. I love the metallic look and dirty-ness you give your kits.
The combination of the backack and the side skirts makes the luus looks like Star Build Strike...
wish we can get thruster effect parts too for kits. cuz, tbh, when posing gundams in an aerial type of pose looks kinda awkward and looks less expressive. wish bandai can go an extra mile to do that

Search "dry brushing", you only need a stiff brush, rag/paper and paint.
Thanks a bunch!
I just found out that the backpack thruster moves up and down.
Are you also painting warhammer figurines? Cause your painting skills is top notch!
CHECK OUT BUNKER PLA TOO !

Hey Type V3,
I was just curious. What method do you employ to get your weathered effects on the Lupus's armor plates? I love the gradients that you create with it.

Honestly I just throw them in a drawer. Make sure the environment is cool and dry. Always shake them before use.
Thank you sir.
Man, this is one sick paint job. How'd you do the weathering? Is this painted by airbrush or spray cans? Thanks in advance. You're build just inspired me to grab one :)
+Frederick Castro - Spray cans, that I know. He doesn't know or have a air brush system.
