I hear that enamel paints and its thinner make plastic brittle and easy to break, did you use any protection method before putting a bunch of them on the parts that have a lot of cracks and crevices like 1:10 thanks
Is this needs to repaint first or just weathering right away? And can i apply it to my hg 1/144 barbatos? This is gonna be my first time for weathering
Nice paint job!! Did you prime it at all before filming or were you putting the paint+thinner solution right onto the plastic? All of my experience is with Warhammer minis where you have to prime anything and everything before painting.
Ive been trying to replicate the weathering but havent been successful. Why is your barbie have matte colour when I have gloss after the brown wash? Also what is your ratio for the wash? It looked black instead of brown like mine. Thanks 😅
honestly just a matte top coat and something like this and that is all you need, not sure why you would paint an enitre kit, maybe just the one piece of two that isnt color matching but that is it.
It’s a fun process and you can put your own spin on it. For example I’m currently working on a kit from the Witch from Mercury series, trying to paint it in One Year War Zeon colours. Painting also allows you to make minor changes, like if you want to keep the Barbatos looking clean but think to be more anime accurate it should have more of an eggshell than a snow white colour
@@nottoscale6529 Can I see the box art or something? HG model kits are scale 1/144, it is the labeled as FM, MG or simply 1/100 that are in that scale as far as I know.
@@xdcn Ah a Ful Mechanics, makes sense. But a HG was impossible, it is just not how it works. Non 1/144 scale models are never labeled as high grades but something else, majorly Master Grades.
That is a remarkably simple technique for an almost real effect. Elevates any kit in less than an hour
This is fantastic. When I work up the courage, I'm going to apply this to my Perfect Grade Strike. Thanks!
Dude, your sponge technique is insane. I am going to test it on my MG RX-78 3.0!
Tissue paper work too!
Very nice..i was afraid to do something like this but seeing how it works fine i will give it a try ✊🏼
I’m so glad this video is still posted, now I’m getting back into gundam , I had given it up because I got tired of the toy look
The exact way I did my wing Gundam, nice work!!
fantastic work! keep the great videos coming!
Awesome work, so badass !! 🔥🤌
Also from indonesia here..thanks for the video, hope i can learn how to do it soon..
whats the color that you use?
Is that flat brown mixed with black? It looks very black
Yes. Ratio 1:1
the courage it takes to do this.. i think im gonna buy two same gunpla, the one being the pristine and the other being the one i will work it on
That’s what im planning to do too 😅
Absolute legend, i love your works. Where is the music from? So atmospheric and fitting for this ❤
Very easy love it thx when I get my mg I will do this
Do you do a clear coat before the wash?
One question why did u added this ghostly music it's kinda funny in a tutorial vedio

Where did you get the open hands? Thanks.
in package.
How do you made the black wash? Great video!
some people use oil to dilute black paint. from what I understand, the oil helps get the paint deep in the nooks and crannies.
You can actually buy enamel black wash if you don't want to make it. Mr Weathering makes some. I use it actually

don't repaint.

Original plastic color.🙂🙂🙂
Nice!!! Same experience and just finished putting together my first one ever. Gonna give this a try!
How long did you wait for the wash to dry before adding the thinner?
You can use it right away.

yes.

How did you make sure the sticker won't fall off while painting? this is awesome by the way
This gunpla don't have a skicker. If you worried you can coating before weathering.
For a first timer like myself is there any coating i should get / avoid for my gundams ? I plan on doing a HG lupus and an MG Freedom v.2
you should use decal and costing in first time

you can matte clear clothing last process
before doing this, is it necessary to use gloss paint on the piece?
not necessary

after brown wash
@@nottoscale6529 so strait to brown wash from original color?
Did you use primer?
No.
How long do you let the brown paint dry?
You can do it. No need to wait to dry.
Can I use acrylic paint for this? And if I can how?
Yes you can. With chipping techniques.
