I’ve been using the Watch 10 for a couple of months, but I’ve found myself wearing them less and less. At this point, I mostly use them to check the time and weather, so I’m considering selling them. Could you explain what advantages the Apple Watch 10 offers compared to the 7th or 8th models? What are the truly practical features that make a real difference in daily life?
@@LesmentEvgeniiif you’re a runner or traveler then you have everything in one place. When you run carrying a phone in your hand is not optimal and using one of those pouches is uncomfortable. Being able to stream music to headphones from the watch is a godsend and using the Nike Run app which coaches you through the headphones is amazing. I personally have an app that can unlock/lock/start my vehicle so that means I don’t have to carry my keys. I also have an app for my house so I can unlock/lock/arm my house. I can answer calls, messages, and use various messaging platforms. Being able to do everything from your watch also saves battery on your phone since you don’t have to keep taking it out. I do have the cellular activated as well and the bigger battery on the ultra 2 helps quite a bit… but the slim sleek and screen of the series 10 is so nice >
I bought both to try them as well ... they do feel like 2 very different purpose watches! My observations: - I like the Series 10's slim size for more formal wear - I got the slate titanium because of the stronger Sapphire glass, which makes them the same price w/Milanese loop @ £799 - The rounded corners on the Series 10 make the display harder to see, whereas the flat glass of the Ultra 2 is just easier to view, especially when outside - I cannot tell ANY difference, at any angle, between the two, other than the Ultra 2 being brighter. - The raised rim on the Ultra protects the screen much better. - 30 min fast charge to 80% is great on the Series 10, but the Ultra has double the battery life which helps when out on the trails for a few hours with workout tracking. But I charge every night anyways, so fast charging is better for me. - Not a big fan of the 10s Milanese loop for any exercise, as the magnets start to come loose when swimming or biking. The flat screen has me leaning towards the Ultra 2 as the screen is better protected, and it is easier to see - even tho the Ultra is quite large.
Your comment helped me a lot. I'm going with the Ultra 2. It has advantages over the S10 that I'd rather have (than not have). The battery life, brighter flashlight, louder speaker. But the deciding factor was how flush the screen is: the feature you use the most is...simply looking at the screen. And when I saw how clear the screen was because it's flat, it makes sense to buy it instead. As much as I like how a gold S10 looks like with a suit, it doesn't look right when you're holding a dumbbell. The Ultra 2 is somewhat versatile. I'm also active as f*ck and I'd rather not be paranoid that my fancy watch is going to get cracked.
