its great the trash was removed but unless we stop the trash at the source, this will be a fruitless effort. poor countries dont have the trash facilities or the knowledge to keep their areas clean. first world countries are fueled by consumerism. Anything for profit and clout- gotta be on the next big trend or be left in the dust. Think of all those stanly cups that are going to end up in the trash just because the fad ends. Fast fashion and all that plus corporate greed. The fact we have companies that OWN WATER sources and sell the water- something that is necessary for life- is absurd enough.
Wow I forgot about this me and my family donated 100 dollars combined. I am so happy it went to a good cause! Amazing job everyone that donated is a legend!!!
in comparsion, per year around 10 milion tons of trash gets thrown into the ocean, thats ~20 BILLION pounds of trash, or ~54 million pounds PER DAY, it took almost 3 years and 34 million dollars to remove not even a single day worth of trash from the ocean
Espically Considering its not the best method/the donations go towards an org which isnt the best(one of the two isnt good the other is fine as far as i know) espically since going to the source is currently miles better than fishing the stuff out which we brought there to begin with
34,080,191 pounds is equal to 17,040 tons. Out of the 0.11 million tons of plastic the USA contributes to the ocean annually, this means we've managed to clean up about 15% of it. I know it's a tough issue to tackle, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Great job!

That Physics Girl clip hit hard. I hope she recovers some day.
Thank you!!!
Really really happy to see this, Much love Mark and Jimmy!
Please dont stop this... We need your face, and your clout and help to keep this going
Thank you, TeamSeas!!
its great the trash was removed but unless we stop the trash at the source, this will be a fruitless effort. poor countries dont have the trash facilities or the knowledge to keep their areas clean. first world countries are fueled by consumerism.
I bet mrbeast will come up with a more permanent solution int he future, he talked about tht one day :>
Wow I forgot about this me and my family donated 100 dollars combined. I am so happy it went to a good cause! Amazing job everyone that donated is a legend!!!
How about Team Breeze for air pollution?
I honestly forgot team seas was a thing but I’m so glad this continued behind the scenes
in comparsion, per year around 10 milion tons of trash gets thrown into the ocean, thats ~20 BILLION pounds of trash, or ~54 million pounds PER DAY, it took almost 3 years and 34 million dollars to remove not even a single day worth of trash from the ocean
thats sad
Espically Considering its not the best method/the donations go towards an org which isnt the best(one of the two isnt good the other is fine as far as i know) espically since going to the source is currently miles better than fishing the stuff out which we brought there to begin with
34,080,191 pounds is equal to 17,040 tons. Out of the 0.11 million tons of plastic the USA contributes to the ocean annually, this means we've managed to clean up about 15% of it.
I know it's a tough issue to tackle, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Great job!
Team trees, team seas what’s next?
bees
Team Homes! Help homeless people. :)
Its awesome getting to actually see the end impact of your donations than a trust me bro initiative.
