The most important impact of TeamSeas (or TeamTrees, etc) is making people aware, enlisting their help, and making them personally invested in the effort. This is effecting social change and nudging the issue just a bit closer to economic sustainability. This and many other initiatives are necessary to engage people. When enough people are engaged, this issue will actually start to be resolved at the scales necessary to make make real change. Move with this vibe, not against it. The future is for people who will, not for those who won't.

This is like preaching to the choir, because most of us already know about the amazing things these two guys do in their platforms, but I want to showcase how Mark is teaching math and engineering to kids in fun and entertaining way. He’s responsible for thousands of children choosing STEM careers because of his “silly” projects and experiments. Mark is also involved in some initiatives to stop international scammers and let’s not forget how he’s been going against package thieves for three years now.
I agree 100% with about most of your generation knowing of and probably following these modern day superheroes. BUT - I have to admit I am the only gramma in my group of friends that watches these guys. I make it a point to watch every Mr. Beast video on all his channels and I watch most all of Mark Robers' videos too - though I do get lost in the math, lol ...

Finally Mr. Beast is in a top talk show interview. Surprised he's never did one. Top youtubers Logan Paul, David Dobrik, Charli D'amelio and even PewDiePie have done it before. Mark Rober already did it before too. Mr. Beast should have made an appearance on Ellen already knowing his charitable attributes. .
I feel like he didn't want to before/had no reason cause he prefers to just stay on YT. With TeamSeas he just wants to get as much publicity as possible so this makes sense,
Nobody needs to appear on Ellen.
