Your bag came back looking amazing! I recently purchased a vintage lambskin Chanel bag and it’s in need of some minor tlc, it’s a 25 years old but she looks great for its age. I’m thinking about sending her to the leather surgeons for some repairs but I am FREAKING OUT about what they might do to it 😩 since I’m in love with my bag. I sent gerry a long email explaining the things I want done to the bag, I hope I don’t fall out of love with it. 😔
I have this exact bag and I’m trying to get them re-gild the cc and turnlock but they said they can’t out of fear they may break it because of how old the bag is 😩 I’m frustrated lol

The exterior of your bag was in decent shape beforehand-how did it feel to touch afterwards? I’m a little nervous about how my lamb skin will feel and the condition of my bag is similar to yours. Structure is the biggest issue.
So I'm concerned about the texture changing since losing the buttery lambskin feeling is sort of a deal breaker for me. Have you tried conditioning it afterwards? If you did, did it help with getting back the original texture.
Did you say you asked for the chain to be lengthened? Is the chain now perfect for crossbody? Sorry to be nosey, but did he swap for long crossbody chain, or did he add the the existing chain? Thanks for the video! What a gorgeous bag!

They told me the same thing. I told them i was willing to take the risk.
Kayla Belton the turn lock did fall off after a month of use. And i sent it right back to them and they fix it and sent it back. Its fine now

It did feel a bit different. I do think he touch up the spots with some kinda color dye. Ask him to just fix the structure. Leave the rest along

No i didnt. Ive since sold this bag. But the texture will change. But to me its worth how pretty it will look
