bro you started at 26 and you made achievements in only 3 years ....i guess god guided me to your video cause am 27 i just started boxing thinking that am doing it for nothing no goals no benefits ....your gave me hope i will never quit boxing ever
Im 22 and see all these kids at the gym kinda discouraged bc im one of the older ppl at the gym and feel like i started so late but you saying you started at 26 made me feel a lot more confident man fr
Starting in May during the sumemr and im 21 its never too late. Ive always wanted to do boxing when i was younger but my mom didnt let me because im a girl. Good luck on your journey🫡
Thanks for the reviews on the gloves, what I love about your video is that you've actually worn and used the gloves, unlike some other reviewers... no shade to nobody tho...I just like to hear about gloves and boxing things from actual boxers who've used the equipment and put in that pressure on the equipment.
You starting at 26 gives me hope I really started when I was 24-25 cross trained mma and had a 240lb black belt knee to belly and fractured my rib I’m 165 😭 was out 6 months from that and at the same time tore my left shoulder AC from benching 325 a good year out of training killed my confidence but now I’m back at it Monday-Saturday 2x a day sometimes.
I started at 33 had two fights my second year and this year I'm eyeing for golden gloves. There's hope mate don't give up, if you give up here you'll give up in the ring
Those who start boxing as teenagers their body already banged up by time they in their 20’s while those who start much later have fresher bodies to compete
I’m 26 now and been getting trained for a year in a half, with like 3 years of inconsistent self taught training. I’m glad to hear you started at the same age as me
For me I bought the fairtex bgv9 gloves they are Mexican style and very slim. quality is absolutely amazing and since I got them I haven't had any hand injuries. They are around £119 but honestly feel premium asf couldn't recommend them more.
I wouldn't say Fairtex Bgv9 are slim, I've got large slim hands & I have to use gel knuckle protectors under my wraps for an ok fit with my Bgv9 compared to my 12oz Boon Compacts which are absolutely perfect fit with wraps & still snug enough without wraps. I also prefer the wrist protection, feel & sound on the Boons for heavy bag.
Same. These dudes just don't know how to hit properly. That's what happens when you only care about looking good instead of drilling the fundamentals/technique.
I have the same flys that you have for bag and pad work and the fly premium lightning for sparring. Best gloves ive ever used and i have used a lot of brands.
Here's some I like/don't like personally... Like: Hayabusa H5 (sparring, very good for the price), rival rb10 (best glove bag), hayabusa t3 (good bag glove if you wrist is injured bag), Rival rs11v (most likely the best for sparring), everlast powerlock 2 pro and retail (bag & sparring, amazing value), rival rb2 (amazing value for bag) Dislike: Cleto reyes traditionnal (sparring, not enough padding on 16oz), hayabusa S4 (not worth it), ringside APEX (too big/bulky), venum impact (idk just don't feel them)
Man you guys just suck at hitting. I've had the cheapest gloves and never had any issues, and I'm a 6 foot 4 270 pound heavyweight with insane power (according to everyone that watches me (my trainer always complain about his wrists being sore after pad work)). Man up this fighting not basketball (ballet). I can see 2:49 that this guy isn't even landing properly. He's landing heavily on his middle knuckle - down. You guys may be built and look good but it's all show. Spending hundreds of dollars on gloves because you can't get it done with $50 gloves. $100 should be more than adequate for a good fighter that uses good technique. Sugar Ray Robinson and Mike Tyson weren't spending a fortune on gloves and are all time greats. People these days are just plain stupid, so the smart people like me just take all of your money.
I love flys just gotta lace them up tight and wrap your wrist more then knuckles in my opinion not a lot of wrist support but enough if you properly lace up🔥
@@insan8144 you can really tell by the lettering on the gloves and also the inside liner should be navy blue not black. There are some good videos on RUclips that compare fakes to real.

I get a lot of my gloves off Amazon I got this pair called Steel Sweat I like them a lot and they are good quality what you really look out for I’d say is the way the thumb is on the glove and the material it’s made of those are my 2 big things I first look for in getting new gloves
What hand wraps do you prefer to use how do you generally wrap your hands I'm trying to figure out another way to wrap the way I do it now works but it's not quite doing what I want it to do
Oh my goodness! I've never seen anyone's knuckles look like that from a boxing glove. It makes me think that your wraps were too loose or something. That's some terribly fitted gloves if you have that much space between your hand and the padding. I have those same gloves, and there's space but once my hand is wrapped, it fights perfectly. I think it might be a quality control issue. You might have got a really bad pair of those Venums. Those Giants are usually really really good.
Fly gloves and groin guard are brilliant however their headgear is horrible not enough padding the material on the inside slips too much and overall not worth it Id say buy the gloves and groin guard from fly then buy the sting iba headguard
You gotta break them in and how they did that to your hand with wraps on?? The venums are good I like the giants but the Hammer Pro ones are better it’s a good fit and better for actually punching those are not for heavy punching the ones Loma wears are better it’s that or your hands aren’t good for venum gloves
@@splurt69 While I agree, he probably shouldn't have messed with a good thing. If it was working, why change it? If memory serves, he hurt his hand in one of the first fights he used Venom gloves.

Fairtex are good gloves but most are for Muay Thai. I have the BGV1 for Muay Thai but boxers would have to use the BGV9 Mexican style boxing glove from what I understand.
