A big hit in the summer of 1985, the time when my first child was born. Each time I travelled in my car to see my wife in the maternity unit this track always seemed to be playing on the radio. Oh happy days!

When she says “if I only could” it gives me chills. Love the original too, but this one has a slower, rawer, almost jazzy sound to it. Vocally, this is her prime. I know she doesn’t perform live, almost ever but I hope if she does, I get to see it love❤

This is the song that got me through tough times in high school while being bullied. When I saw Max’s scene from Stranger Things I cried my eyes out, from the intense nostalgic memories and flashbacks it caused. The added instrumental music complimented it beautifully. This version is phenomenal….

@@moparsith IKR? I’ve only ever heard Placebo’s version until Stranger Things, and omg the og Kate Bush flipping threw it out of the water, absolutely perfect for this season. And yep, I bawled like a baby lol the person or people responsible for the sound track of Stranger Things needs to win an Emmy or whatever they offer for this job because every single season they nailed it. Could not have chosen better songs or inserted them in just the right parts and at the right times had they not had everything specially written just for Stranger Things. And lastly, I would love to be able to listen to their personal playlists lol

! its the original backing track. She had it lowered dighitally into a lower key that she can sing, because her voice is now much lower and deeper . I am wondering how many semitones lower it is. I don't think its a full octave.

It depends on your definition of interesting, but the artist Billie Eilish has done some great work lately. She's also the first artist born after 2000 to reach #1 on the Billboard charts. The production of her songs are done entirely by her brother and he explores a lot with minimalism in some of her quieter songs.

Not at all, she's pained because she wants him to understand her and vice versa but neither can because of the boundaries God made. So she's begging him to let them understand each other at all costs. Now days liberals can claim the song is meaningless since we can be either sex we want at anytime we want to.
