A Huge Thanks to Chris Moore for the dyno re-tune. A lot of little changes (some not so little) lead to big results in building a true 200+ mph Hayabusa. Feel free to contact me at Cycle Specialties Performance / Moore Mafia for your performance cycle upgrades.
Nice bike Tim I can’t wait to get mine back running my damn 6th gear broke
It would be nice to see how it goes on the track, can you post a video ?
Hey, Tim, what front and rear sprocket tooth count are you running?
Impressive bike man. I wanna see 213mph! Good luck!
@@DrackensLair Currently has 18 front / 38 rear land speed racing gearing.
Sweet bike. That 110ft lbs is what makes the big Busa so special.
Copy that!
Really interesting to watch. My 09 busa stock engine, Full 4-2-1 Akropvic, Factory Pro Stacks and Air Filter. Using same dyno parameters as you, Pump gas- 186.55 HP/111.59 T; Using MS109- 190.87HP/ 113.90 T.
Dynoing tomorrow, Trying different ign curve (Gen 1 slightly modded in mid range) using both pump gas and Sunoco GT Plus (different fuel maps)
Keep up the good work
When are you getting your hands on a new one?
Got my ECU back from Moore Mafia over a week ago and have been riding my 2018 ZX10R with now issues. I’ve yet to ride in medium or full power modes yet though... But the quick shifter is WAY better and my exhaust pops like crazy after throttle tip outs (love it).
Why do you have a zx10r and ride in low power mode. Sounds like you jumped the gun and went too big too fast
@@86250r This is my first bike. I rented a 300cc, 600cc and then a 1000cc; finding that getting a new 1000cc but riding in low power mode would allow me to get use to the power and bump up to medium and full. I only really wanted my ECU flashed cause I installed an exhaust with a CAT delete. I wanted my AFRs to be rich at WOT, to match the airflow increase from the exhaust. But the byproduct of the flash is more power (only in full mode). But I didn’t even ever ride in OEM full power mode and now Moore Mafia took my full and made it insane....it’s going to be a while before I try that mode. But at least it’s all there in one bike (not multiple purchases/money).
Can we see Tim and big country go head to head at the track
Chris, since you put it out publicly, doing “touch-up” tunes for clients has been just a big headache for me.
Most folks are fine, but there are always a few that don’t know what a mechanic has actually done to their bike OR don’t give the tuner a full picture of what has been done to their bike, so they can get a cheap price for a tune.
Recently, I did a “touch-up” tune on a Gen 1 Busa that supposedly had just a “can” change on the exhaust with the baffle removed. Idle, part throttle, WOT was way, way off. On the first pull the Bike made 25 wHP more than it did at the end of last year. 2 hours later, finished the tune and when I questioned the owner firmly, found out that the cams had been changed, head ported, and bored +3mm over. But he still argued that since I had tuned the bike before, it should still be a touch-up tune.
Noticed the O2 sniffer tube was sliding out at WOT. That could be causing a reversion effect and throwing your readings off.
Great work Bro. keep rocking.
Lesgo Moore mafia 💪
Yeah the torque numbers is what I look@ on a Busa unless its running a RCC. The guy w Big Bertha ran 218 mph w a 40 shot if I remember. I'll say 207-210 mph.
Busa Life! Zuke Nation!
I'm fixing to buy a 2020 busa with a 1600cc big bore stroker kit I'm hoping to make a trip to south Carolina since your the master of tuning
Saying present to the best of the best in the drag strip Moore mafia 🔥💪
How much does wind resistance effect it at speed? The faster you go the harder it pushes back.🤔
When the O2 sensor pipe gets blown out from the pipe there is some real pressure in there. That means the pipe is restrictive. Going for every extra 0.1WHP I see why this bike wasnt running a short exhaust?
Perfect video what gearing is that busa?
Big BUSA!!!!!
Tim's Busa, alright!
Im in Greensboro NC and I want a new 2022 Hayabusa Silver and Red 💰💰💰💰😎 when will you have them available 🤷🏾♂️
215 mph. Big dog, great video as usual
Downhill and with the wind will help top speed. 😁
Against the wind is faster. The pressure in the intake tract does more w as aerodynamic as they r
HAYABUSA is the best motorcycle!
Good looking Bike -What up with crazy long chain guard
Probably swaps between stock and extended swingarms depending on what he is doing
It's required for land speed racing.
Chris can you please give a link to the Velocity stacks
Maybe 1day I will bring a 07 gixxer 1k too you to get tune an flash.
Hey Chris I have a gen 2 Busa I want to send you my ecu does the pops hurt the motor on the deceleration because it sounds lovely
No it’s more preference, the fuel injectors just continue to squirt fuel after letting off the throttle.
It'll go 184 in Utah! Busa 隼
torquey!
When do you get your gen3 chris?
👍👍👍
I would like tht tune with the velocity stacks.
How much is the price and time range to reflash my 05 yamaha fz6?
Why didn't you show before and after stacks. Also before and after excelleration. Was the first run pump gas or we're all runs Mr 12
Hey Chris, I always see the sensor in the exhaust extend out about a foot. What happens if you clamp it so that it doesn't move at all?
What year velocity stacks from the Gixxer 1000 do I need for my Hayabusa 2020
whats done to the bike ? any headwork
can you post the MT09 that Mad Maxi had you work on?
What’s his gearing ?
Hello I am new to your channel I really like your content I have a 2005 Hayabusa I would like to get my ECU tune and I want to get a Brock's full exhaust do I have to wait to put the exhaust before I get a tune can you help me out cuz I'm trying to send my ECM to you what do I do first

217 third run 🦅🇺🇸🦅🏍👍
What were the results?
Let's go for 205mph. Probably takes HP to go even 1,2,3,4, etc mph over 200. You tell us Tim or Chris???
I think the hand of god will kick in and keep him under 210mph.
Great bike. Could you do a Dyno race of all 3 Busa gen's and a ZX14? I want to know the top speeds and how fast it accelerates.
Gen 3 busa is going to be a dud until it’s unrestricted
@@Mandellp99 that's why I asked for a Dyno race. Will it beat the other gens or a ZX14? That's what Id like to see.
What sprocket size is he running?
What make or model do you recommend to replace the factory velocity stacks in this model Hayabusa gen 2?
Gsxr1000 ?
Chris, could a built motor busa make 240 like that zx14 did???
Why not ? Look up Carpenter racing
I have a 2012 busa👍🏿
☝️good day🇬🇧
sup Chris
Something screaming bigger air box.
🤘😈🤘🔥🔥🔥
More hp than 2021
💪🏾
210
Your bike's fueling richners need turned out a little bit you're having a lean misfire on deceleration
Can you sell me a 2021 Hayabusa .??? 🦅🇺🇸🦅🏍
BAD @$$
"Tim weighs about 200lbs.......What do you guys think?"
I think Tim should lose 40lbs he would deffo go faster! 👀
In his instance, weight has little to no effect on top speed. Size is more important.
@@TOPSPEEDBUSA thank you for addressing that irate statement. He is not trying to pick up tenths
So long as the drag coefficient is the same, the difference in weight will only change the amount of time it takes to reach the same top speed.
209 mph
212 mph
201 - 203 Max
206 mph
The bike is to quiet lol but it’s a beautiful bike
because of that dumb yoshimura lmao
@@denimstratton7308 needs a brocks exhaust
@@denimstratton7308 yoshi is a great exhaust. Not everyone wants an obnoxious drone filled exhaust that either deafens you or you have to ride with ear plugs
Wait until you get hearing loss or tinnitus. 😒
@@TheBigTizzie ears are fine lol i have a brocks
212 top speed maybe 217
lol a yoshi pipe
I guess 210 mph top speed in 6 on the road.
first :)
