  • After I started to introduce about Filipino culture, food and the country in general, my friends in Korea became interested in the Philippines. They've always said they wanna come visit to the Philippines because I'm currently living here in Manila. So far, they couldn't make it as they were quite busy with their work.
But! One of my close friends, Minjune, just suddnely made his visit to see me here in the Philippines. He just came to the Philippines not only as a traveler but also as the very first guest of #oppatour
He's going to stay here only for 3 days. It's bit short but of course I'm going to let him try and experience as many things as possible during his stay here in Manila, Philippines and go back to Korea with having beautiful memories here!
We have actually not much time since Minjune has only 3 days of limited time! So, let’s quickly catch up with him from the first day! For the very first meal after his arrival, I just instantly brought him to the best Filipino fast food restaurant, Jollibee. He's ever heard of Jollibee but hasn't tried it yet!
Will Jollibee not only suit Filipinos' tastes but also Koreans' !? I also wanna know actually! Then let's go find out together!
Follow me and my friend, Minjune, on our Instagram too!

It's always so fun to understand the difference between the countries, isn't it? At first when I first came to the Philippines, every single thing in Jollibee was totally new. I was surprised as well "Why Jollibee serves spaghetti though it's just a fast food restaurant" , "Why there's rice in every combo meal" , "What's this sauce for fried chicken and burger steak (It was gravy sauce haha)". And I felt somewhat interesting when I saw Minjune asked me the same questions that I used to have before.
I'm so glad that I can be the one who can introduce this beautiful country, Philippines, to other foreigners.
So, Minjune is gonna be the first guest of Oppa Tour and there are gonna be more foreigners to follow #oppatour
As I'm also a foreigner who's just started to live here in Manila since this January, I know I still have many things to experience and learn! I always do thorough research and study a lot before introducing about Filipino culture to other foreigners, but I still admit that I make mistakes quite often. Please kindly understand though I make mistakes sometimes.
You all wouldn't know how much I appreciate your support and love towards me and my channel.
I think the only way to show my gratitude is to just keep trying my best to make nice videos!
Please keep your eyes on me and my channel and I'll see you again on my next video!
Oh! Please don't forget to follow me and my friend, Minjune's Instagram! You can see a real me by seeing my daily life here in Manila haha

3day trip would be more worth it if you could bring your friends to a beach on ph because that's the best ph can offer, breath taking beaches(sceneries) and delicious food.
It is just my opinion but going around on manila just eating authentic ph food could've been spent better because you can go to boracay,el nido, siargao, coron and still try those dishes while sight seeing.
      Would be expensive tho.
And still, we appreciate what you are doing im just kinda sharing my opinion so your friends and you can enjoy your stay more in the philippines.

Everytime a foreigner introduce halo halo to another foreigner and they don’t mix it i get really stressed lmfao. Parang gusto ko tumagos sa screen tapos haluin yung halo halo

Actually, the reason why it reminds you of your childhood so much is because Jollibee's primary target for their food are kids. That's why they also have mascots and offer birthday parties at their places too. Now since the children that loved Jollibee now grew up and had their own kids, they also bring their kids to Jollibee so the cycle goes on forever. Until there are kids, there will always be someone who will love Jollibee and that's the good thing about it.

The burgers in Jollibee are catered in the Filipino setting where burgers are to be sweeter , in the old days usually burgers are made through sweet condiments like mayo and banana ketchup, personally when it comes to food it is considered to be strong in taste, which filipino dishes compensate with spice and other ingredients, the filipino cuisine is mixed with culture to the point that it still lives on from the fast food chains, I hope you get to eat good food as always oppa.

Hi! though pie can be seasonal to promote, you can actually ask for jollibee branch if the other flavor are available~ most likely peach mango pie are always available(that's my favorite!) in every branch. Hope your friend enjoy his stay in the Philippines~

Jinyong, i advice that you invite an expert filipino with you when you try to taste filipino food. So you can enjoy it well. Sometimes our certain food has a proper kind of sauce mix specially traditional filipino food.. in that way you will really enjoy our native filipino dishes. Enjoy your stay guys..😃

Oh god! The last few seconds are the best. He totally loves Jollibee. I'm in Italy right now and we have it here but I live 5hrs-drive away from Milan. I'm craving for some chicken joy but all I can do is watch reaction videos of people eating in Jollibee. XD
