- One thing that Filipinos never forget after their meal? Yea, it's a dessert! Funny thing is that I used to be the one who don't like to eat dessert after a meal. But after I started to live here in the Philippines, I totally changed!
So in today's video, I'll bring my Korean friend, MinJune, to one of the most famous Filipino desserts(?) restaurants called "Aristocrat" and try many different kinds of Filipino desserts. This video will make you all have sudden craving for those delicious desserts, so please be careful haha.

Leche flan the best😊
Oppa Jinyong nkkamis nmn yan, nakakatakam kumain.
Ube halaya and leche flan. Also salad. 😋😋😋
I already follow your IG account. What is your FB account?
It always suprises me whenever foreigners see filipino foods that are purple they don't find it edible 😅 for Filipinos whatever color it is as ling as it smells edible it's food 😅😅
I understand what you mean 😊😊 Though I've been living in many different countries and have tried many different kinds of foods, that purple color was totally new to me when I first came to the Philippines hehe. But look at me now haha I'm now totally a big fan of purple! especially UBE! yayyy
Try nilupak,,it's my favorite🤗😍
@@OppaJinyong wow!! Maybe 5 months more of staying here seeing colorful foods will not suprise you anymore Hahaha have you tried ube halaya? U should try it if you haven't 😉
@@OppaJinyong another thing!! When you rome around and see multiple stand anywhere selling bibingka and puto bumbong it's Ber months already 😅😅
We Filipinos eat anything as long as we don't get poisoned.
I really admire how you showcase the Philippines Oppa! I mean you are not just tasting food and give opinions about the food, (like other vloggers) you also give such an informative explanation on every food u feature in ur videos. ❤❤
I love how you always explain everything and throw a little of its history.
most of the filipino don't really know a thing of the food history 😂
Yeah, we just eat it and appreciate people made it.
I remember Dara brought her friend there during Battle Trip. Great choice Oppa!
Yes, true!! Ate Dara inspires me every time haha
@@OppaJinyong I saw your comment on other video, eating Filipino snacks. btw, can't wait for more videos from you. Fighting!~
YAaaaaah parehas tayo ng naiisip 🤣😍
Yes I know it.i watch dara w/ here friend
Oppa is here promoting my country more, I'm proud. Thank you!
I really admire that you did some research on those foods. I don't even know pirurutong rice, so this is educational for me too. Love your content. Hope you could do more. 👍😀😊
As a foreigner myself, I've always thought that it would be better to understand other different culture if someone could explain about the food before I eat 😀😀That's why I always try to explain to other foreigners some historical/essential background knowledge when we go together to eat Filipino dishes! Though I'm also a newbie here in the Philippines, I'll always try my best to give foreigners precise information about this beautiful country! Thank you one more for your support! Maraming salamat!
Probably one of the best compliments we can receive from foreigners is being told our cuisine is delicious. I'm very happy your friend enjoyed all the Filipino desserts you ordered! In the Manila area, there's also another restaurant, Hizon's, known for its ensaymada. I suggest you try the food there, as well. Your Filipino is so good 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Your knowledge about filipino food is impressive! You even went deep knowing what a "pirurutong" is!
Thank you oppa jinyoung for promoting the Philippines 😊 i really enjoy watching your vids 👍
I'm just doing what I enjoy doing hehe thanks for enjoying my videos!!! More videos to come for sure!
@@OppaJinyong yun talaga yung aabangan ko . Yung feeling na gusto ko tuloy pumunta sa BGC para makita kita magvlog 😅 anyways, keep it up jinyoung 😊
THE EFFORT you insert in translating from kor to eng to tagalog. wow! and the words u use are quite deep for a foreigner to know. Thank you for loving our country !
Jinyong's effort in introducing Filipino desserts is commendable. I'm a Filipino, sadly, there are still Filipino cuisines I know how to eat but don't know the names much more the ingredients.😶
This guy is very knowledgeable of filipino foods and culture.
Thank you very much for promoting our food and culture! Nakakatuwa ka; isang Koreano with pusong Pinoy
You know if you did Battle Trip I would have voted for you all the time because of the way you explain things. Really informational
so cute. 😊😊 Leche Flan is also one of my favorite but the puto bumbong is extra especial because it taste better when it's Christmas season I don't know why 😂
I swear this lad is a lot more Filipino than I am. Ive never even heard the word pirurutong! Thank you Oppa, I’m really enjoying your videos. You’ve gained another subbie here and I’ll make sure to spread the word about your awesome channel!
thank you oppa jinyoung for promoting not only philippines culture but also the foods that most filipino eat and enjoy...im looking forward for your next vlog
Since Oppa Jinyong is helping us to promote Philippines, we should help him by not skipping the ads
you should make/post a video making leche flan, it's easy promise
Love it how easy for you to accept the taste of our food "Lecheflan" made by eggs yolks, condense milk, fresh milk ,vanilla or lime for the aroma!❤🇵🇭 thank you❤🇵🇭
Hyung Jinyong knows more about my country than i do in my 16 year of existence.
I've watched 2 commercials to help your channel. More Filipino content soon. Thank you for trying and promoting our filipino dessert.
Jinyong, I love your matching english and filipino/tagalog sub.😅
Nice one.. you can cook leche Flan on your own, the ingredients are affordable and easy to cook.
White sugar, condense milk, evaporated milk, egg yolks and vanilla(optional)
This channel is actually great? Guess this is just one of the channels that promotes Philippines that I support lol
Oppa Jinyong - When are you try the mango float & sans rival dessert?
It's not a unique Pinoy dessert.
The food color thing is really cultural. Because as a Filipino, the color purple is very appetizing to me 😊
Road to 100k sub oppa. Yie Congrats. 😍
Yayyy!! I'll always try my best to keep making videos fun!!😍😍 Thanks for your support always!
@@OppaJinyong ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for promoting and appreciating our country! Looking forward for more videos!
I am amazed on your videos. Fascinating, how you research those infos even filipinos wouldn't bother to do themselves. Majority of filipino vlogs shows nonsense pranks. But here you are, a Korean who knew everything much more than his filipino counterparts. Thanks for introducing even being proud of Philippine culture.
I really miss eating filipino desserts. I really like sans rival/silvanas, brazo de mercedes, maja blanca, mango float, pichi-pichi, palitaw, leche flan, barquillios, buko pie. I also miss fruits such as jackfruit, lansones, guyabano(soursop), Caimito(star apple).
wow.. Thank you for promoting filipino foods more than filipinos do lol. I can't stop but wonder how kpop idols (esp bts) will react when they try these desserts lol. hope they can watch your videos when they come back here for a concert. you're so good in educating your friends as well as the viewers. I'm a fan!! ❤️
I love how you share that there are regional variations to our desserts. It shows how much thought you put into these videos. Oppa, I think you'll enjoy lots of pinoy 'kakanin' because they can be similar to korean tteok. 😁
I should really consider investing in a leche flan store in Korea! 🤩 Koreans are crazy about leche flan! Really appreciate your content showcasing Filipino food and culture to Koreans. 👍🏻
Omg I cant believe hè really love philippines mabuhay ka and more power sa youtube Chanel mo
Fyi... you might want to try Sans Rival or silvana (as referred to in Dumagete). Leche flan as it is called in the Philippines is the equivalent of the French dessert Creme Burlee...
Since it's summertime and fruits are in season, nothing better that a plate of fresh fruits... mangoes, atis, chicos, melon, pakwan, kaimito, avocado made into a shake, lanzones... there is an abundance of fresh fruit assortment you can select from...
Also consider having a tall glass of kalamansi juice when eating a meal with various main course. Kalamansi acts as a palate cleanser which will enable you to enjoy the flavor of the next course better!!! 👍keep up thr good work!!!
I respect the way he did his research on those foods. It's pretty impressive
@Oppa Jinyong In Samar purple rice is called "pilit" maybe because of its sticky texture when cooked. (Mapilit means sticky in waray dialect.)
Jinyong oppa, thank you for this video promoting Filipino dessert and food..I really like the way you explain it and the way you and your friends enjoy it..More blessing..💜
Oppa jinyong thank you for promoting our food more power to your channel n filipinos love you n your fellow koreans.
thank you for promoting always about Filipino culture like foods, dessert, habits and more with a deep explanation where it came from to your kababayan na korean.. keep up and keep safe din always take vitamins for good health 😊
Thank you Oppa jinyong for promoting
our foods 😘
Your fan in the philippines 😊
Thank you for your promoting our delicacies.. Appreciated much.. Godbless you always
I really like how you explain every detail of the foods you introduced with your friend. Really a big fan of yours...
I laughed aloud when you told MinJune not to take the whole remaining leche flan. 🤣🤣🤣
You two are like kids, cute and funny. 👦🏻👦🏻💖🍮
Just discovered this channel last night. I enjoy watching the videos. Thank you for introducing the Philippines to your friends and your subscribers!

Everytime I watch your videos, I feel like I'm also learning from you although I'm a Filipino.
Anyways, I can't also find purple foods appetizing lol but I love color purple for I am an ARMY 😂💜
😅 Thumbs up! Kudos Jinyong!
you really did your assignment in finding out the history and components of every dish as you explained them very well to your friend. I really appreciate your vids and your effort at understanding and somehow embracing our culture. thank you and more blessings. I did not skip the ads as I really appreciate your vids.
I always visit your channel and watched all of your vids. More power to you oppa! Please continue to encourage foreigners to come and visit the Philippines to see the beauty in it. 😍❤️💕🇵🇭
Parang mas may alam pa siya sa pilipinas kesa sakin kaloka.
This guy definitely deserves more viewers.
I'm glad that you liked our desserts hahaha. Try eating Casava Cake :P that's my favorite.
Your technical knowledge of the desserts is awesome! Great video. Ang paborito ko, Halo-Halo.

Hahaha. You can really see that you enjoy the food. You're very knowledgeable and really nice to see how you explain everything in details and as like you're a big Kuya to him. Very sweet like those yummy desserts.
The Ambassador of Korea to the Philippines..😉😉😉
I really do love the way you vlog...cause you're doing a lot of research first before you introduce it to your friends or before you do a reaction videos...other vloggers should do the same thing as you do🥰🥰

Hehe, basta masarap...go!

Your videos are so informative! Fighting!!♡
It amazes me how diligent you were in explaining the food in details. It really shows how passionate you are in introducing Ph food to your friend. Thank you :)
Leche flan and mango float are without a doubt my favorite filipino deserts! Hope you guys try mango float next time!
Wahhhh I should have went there. It's so near! I didn't know you would be there
Nice 😊😊
oppa you already memorized the meaning of leche plan..you explain it so many times everytime you ate it with your friends..hehe..can we have Q & A with you on your next vlog?
So, next step is yours truly making all these in the next few days as authentic as possible (except for the flan). Eggs are sadly 😢out of the equation. I'll just have to create a flan without eggs & make it look & taste like it does...😊 Anyways thanks again to you & your friend. Looking forward to more of your food & travel adventures.
So happy that he liked tge desserts! Oppa, jang!
Just want to thank you for loving our Filipino food...
Daebak. Im a Filipino and Im learning from you. Lol. Its nice seeing you enjoying our food 😊👌
