I have been all over in youtube about the beat buddy demo and etc. Lot of blah blah blah, lots of good songs played well, but I finally came across your video and I see some action, some loops and a solo. I just wanted to see layers of music covering the drums and emulate a whole band. Believe me I started on this mission 2 hours ago. Now I am convinced and I'm buying the beat buddy. And you Sr. respect! Wonderful number right there!
Outstanding video! Not only did you convince me I need a BeatBuddy, I could listen to you play that lead all day! David Gilmour has nothing on you! Excellent! 😎👍🎸
If Pink Floyd and the BeeGee's ever made an album together, it would sound like this. That's a great groove you have goin there man. Great work, I really dig it.
I have the Beat Buddy, never tried it with the looper. I'm a really raw new player and have problem's using this and changing beat's during a song. The manual is a bit much for me and I get lost. How do you change a beat in the middle of a song, I have the footswitch also and I can't seem to get it to do anything but add a cymbal. It won't scroll thru the list while I am playing. I don't know, I'm probably not using it right. lol Loved the video, got me really wanting to figure this damn thing out.
@@berkayguner It seems that's the only way to do it, but it is kind of limiting. The pedals that have both drums and a looper in one are more flexible.
Hei, thanks for your video. Can you help me? I have a RC 300 which I think is a great looper but I do not find the drums so good. Now I’ve bought a Beatbuddy (has not arrived yet/can’t wait😊) but.... Do you know, if I can just record a drumloop from Beatbuddy to Track one on the RC and built a song up from there? (I’m not so good with all that technology stuff, so I hope there is an easy way to solve the problem! Regards from Denmark👍😉
I like that! Sounds cool. Hey, I have a question. Can I run a beatbuddy through my fender mustang gt40? I've looked everywhere for advice and can't seem to get an answer. My amp has an aux in, so I was curious if the beatbuddy would work with my amp while I'm playing my guitar through it as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated cause In not that smart when it comes to this stuff.
Would this work in the effects loop of my combo amp or even my Freyette power station 100 effects loop and into my cab cranking out guitar and drum sounds in the same 2x12?
I hear no prob with BB with looper what all this talk about it wont work with a looper? that sounds right in time!! ditto work great w/BB? great job man thanks for sharing
Just got my beat buddy..question...I have a fender mustang 100...how can I get a clean beat buddy sound and a distorted guitar sound through the same amp?..
You run the amp clean, guitar into distortion box into beatbuddy out of beatbuddy into amp. Beatbuddy also sounds great in to home stereo, or a boombox, if you have a nice enough TV you could run it into the auxiliary input and and have it come out of the TV, or auxiliary input on your car if you're out busking, or in garage. I know it might sound a little crazy but those are all good ideas if that's all you have and you want to play... I almost never get stifled I'll come up with a way to do what I want to do... I'm editing this I just saw that it has a effects loop on the back, so you should be able to run your guitar into the front as dirty as you want, and plug the beat buddies output into the effects return, either from the quarter inch output of the beatbuddy, or from the headphone output of the beat buddy. You would just be utilizing the power amp for the BB. Start with your volume down low especially the master volume of the amp. Start with 25% volume on the beatbuddy with a patch selected and then slowly turn up your master volume on the Fender. you should be able to run your guitar into the front and get any sound you want dirty or clean, this way, better yet if there's a auxiliary input on the fender like RCA Jack's on the stereo then by all means go in there, but the beatbuddy sounds really great on a decent home stereo.
I have a ditto and beat buddy like your setup. However when i place the beat buddy before the ditto i get heaps of static when recording the drums into the ditto. how did you solve this??
rolando0572 I use the Ditto looper for quick and dirty multilayer recording. There is no synchronisation involved as the Ditto has no such capabilities. I record the drum sound from the Beatbuddy as one of the "tracks". Therefore it has to go before the looper in the signal chain.
They have produced a top-of-the-range main pedal but why such a poor additional footswitch? If you are thinking of live performance in semi-loud situations the footswitch is fine. However, be warned, the switches make an awful noise. I would not take them into the studio for recording. Their tech man checked out my video and said that the level of noise was 'normal' for them. You can hear the clunk of the switch as well as the squeak of the spring, all amplified by the enclosure.
wow awesome video and playing here. Sweet PRS there. I have a question how do you ensure the drum beat doesnt go over itself on top of the 1st loop riff? I assume timing is even more important with 2 systems instead of just using a loop pedal. I just got the Boss RC-3 loop pedal and then found out about the Beat Buddy so this is very interesting to me to see how this can be done. Keep it up. More vids please
With the MIDI sync function you can synchronize both units. Please email us at support@singularsound.com if you have any further questions. #KeepRocking
Do you need a special amp to run the beat buddy through. I have a small Fender Vibro Champ XD with an 8 inch speaker. Will this blow the speaker at a reasonable volume?
Lovely PRS

I guess it's pretty randomly asking but does anybody know of a good site to stream newly released series online?
@Andy Chance meh lately i have been using Flixportal. you can find it if you google:D -jamison
@Jamison Khalil thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it !
@Andy Chance happy to help =)
Finally somebody with talent demoing the beatbuddy!
Nice demo, thanks for taking the time. Very nice guitar work too, makes me want to play with live musicians again!
I take my shirt off to solo too..nice chops!!
That was sick. Awesome solo

Another brick in the staying alive
Awesome shredding man!! I really enjoyed that. 🤘🏽🎧🎸
Excellent. Nice demo and good playing.
Y’a, man ! Great video!
Fantastic playing, you should put out more guitar videos.
Thanks man good review and nice playing.
really nice demo
How did you get the ditto looper to sync with beat buddy?
sweet looking guitar ................
Cool stuff... you're teaching me something! I dig real playing...cheers!

That was awesome!
Sounds good im thinking of purchasing the beat buddy it should work with TC Helicon voice live 3 looper pedal i heard no problems w/timing nice licks!
Very awesome!!!
How were you able to sync them so the beat buddy doesn't stray from the recorded loops???
That is what I was expecting an answer to 🤔 I guess the trick is putting the BB before the looper and recording the beat as a loop layer
@@berkayguner It seems that's the only way to do it, but it is kind of limiting. The pedals that have both drums and a looper in one are more flexible.
Very cool video!!! thank you!
Nice solo.

Did you get this figured out? I'm still struggling with the midi sync
Best beat Buddy Vid. I have send by far!!!

Btw….with guitar talent like that, you really need to make more videos! 😎👍🎸
Perfeito! Parabéns!
Sounds great! How did you record this session?

Yes you can. You will need the proper adapter.

siiiiick!
Bravo!
The right way!

stratoman YJM no comment yet??? WTF
+stratoman YJM What's the hurry, Junior? It's only been 9 months... Bahahahaa

These won't sync when played at the same time. You have to record the Beat Buddy to the Ditto, then play with it
Which pedal did you use when you play solo on this video?
I have a ditto and beat buddy like your setup. However when i place the beat buddy before the ditto i get heaps of static when recording the drums into the ditto. how did you solve this??
can you explain the reason that you put the bb before the looper ?
thanks

uffarts ok then the BB sound is recorded on the ditto .. that's what I understand..its correct ?

After you record the first guitar loop with the beat buddy, you have to turn off the beat buddy before you lay down the second guitar track?
+anton005 Exactly!

+MICHAEL DAVIS You need a clean setting on the amp. I have used it on a Fender Super Reverb and a small Fender Super Champ XD. It can get plenty loud.
Thanks for the good info. uffarts!!
You play a nice guitar, but I wanted info on beatbuddy...If I want MUSIC I'll just buy a CD...
Pappys a shredder! Sadly, they gave him the smallest room in the senior living facility.
Sorry your video was no help..
