Road suspension fork Rock Shox RUBY upgrade

I had an RS RUBY suspension fork for a road bike lying around the house for twenty years. I bought it, tried it and put it away at the end of the 90s... At that time I was still riding quite fast and well. Now I have a slightly different view of riding on the road: my shoulders hurt, my fingers tingle and I experience other minor discomforts that come with age. So now I'll try riding Ruby after a long time and maybe I'll change my mind...I wasn't very excited about it then. So when it stops freezing and snowing, I'm ready to test the comfort again on the titanium Morati with Rock Shox RUBY!
Dvacet let mně ležela doma odpružená vidlice RS RUBY na silniční kolo. Koncem 90. let jsem si ji koupil, vyzkoušel a odložil... Tehdy jsem jezdil ještě celkem rychle a dobře. Teď mám na jízdu na silnici už trochu jiný pohled, začaly mě bolet ramena, brnět prsty a další drobná nepohodlí přicházející s věkem. Zkusím proto jízdu na Ruby po dlouhé době a třeba změním názor...tehdy jsem z ní moc nadšený nebyl. Tak až přestane mrznout a sněžit, jsem připravený znovu vyzkoušet pohodlí na titanovém Morati s Rock Shox RUBY!

That’s the one issue I had on this fork is the length of the front brake stud. Some will be too long so it’s better to amount a rear brake and turn the pads around.

I had this problem too, I made an insert from a brake nut and put a regular nut. The idea with the rear brake is very good, when I come across a separate rear brake I will replace it. Thanks for the advice and watching the video.
