      @@TheReal_FishFins a console is the cheapest way to play games if you stay legal. If you "uTorrent" games of course it's another story. If you do some research you will see that the series x for example is equivalent to a $800-$900 PC. Mouse and keyboard not included. With a decent set you are around $900-$1000. A TV or monitor doesn't count here because it's the same with both and it depends what you want (size, Hz etc...). A series x is $400-$500. So an equivalent PC is double the price. Upgrading an PC good enough is more expensive than the price of selling the old and buying a new console. Game prices are sometimes cheaper compared to steam. Game pass on Xbox is also a big point. In the end, gaming is legally the cheapest most efficient way on console. The best performance is of course on PC. But im telling this starts with $2500/$3000+ to feel big improvements...

    3:35 careful recommending that power supply. It says 500w but it's only listed to give just under 400w to the 12v rails. It's usually much cheaper/low quality ones that "lie" about the total wattage and so your headroom, assuming that number is legit, would only be 400w for your main power-hungry components like the CPU and GPU.

    They charge more for smaller coolers on GPUs, as well, despite them having less metal and thus costing less to make.

    • @dorayaki5494
      @dorayaki5494 Год назад +10

      ITX SFF is just not popular enough to justify mass production on components. Therefore the supply is limited which in turn increases production prices of everything. Technically they should be cheaper than even m-ATX but realistically until they grow more popular between us PC geeks they'll keep selling for a higher price.

    • @TheZoenGaming
      @TheZoenGaming Год назад +1

      @@dorayaki5494 What does any of that have to do with GPU manufacturers charging more for less? ASUS makes full size 4080 and 4070 GPUs with normal sized cooler and no RGB that they charge more for than the standard models that require more engineering and more materials to make.

    • @dorayaki5494
      @dorayaki5494 Год назад +10

      @@TheZoenGaming A popular in-demand mass item will require mass material orders which in turn will cost cheaper because materials do get sold cheaper when ordered in bulk. I work in a company where such happens. As for GPU's you've kind of got the point there... Popularity & demand dictates prices most of the time. If that wasn't the case GPU's wouldn't cost 3x their MSRP during COVID for example. Materials prices remained the same during the pandemic but they were scarce and demand was high. So PC components prices in general shot up like crazy. ITX goes somewhat the same way but as a different story. Demand isn't high so despite material availability they won't order in bulk to manufacture PC cases or motherboards which leads to a higher manufacturing price.

    • @seibertron500
      @seibertron500 Год назад

      @@TheZoenGaming another additional line to manufacture with separate tooling, among other costs. and the volume made in bulk for ITX isn't as forgiving vs say MATX-ATX. less volume produced = higher price sold to recoup manufacturing cost. making less volume also means less risk for manufacturers as well. as much as ITX seems to be popular with people, that's not the same with the manufacturers themselves - with the complete exception of those who make SFF products specifically.

    • @TheZoenGaming
      @TheZoenGaming Год назад

      _sigh_ The ProArt card line isn't specifically made for ITX systems.
      Furthermore, there are 11 cards in the line up, from the 4060 through to an overclocked 4080, so they aren't that niche. The reason they charge more for these cards is because they market them for "professionals".
      I can guarantee you that these cards are not drastically more expensive to make than the normal cards considering that if they were ASUS would only have one or two cards, likely just the 4080 and the overclocked 4080.

    Some things to note, I hope people find this useful since I have 4 mini-ITX systems, two of them with AM5 boards:
    - The Thermalright AXP90-X47 full is the best CPU cooler when the case gives you up to 60mm clearance. If you find the heatpipes iinterfering with the VRM heatsink, use a little hammer to push them in just a fraction. I did this for my Gigabyte B650I Aorus Ultra and it fits like a glove. This way you can use any DDR5 modules.
    - In one of my systems I have a 7600X and in the other a 7700X. Both have a curve optimiser setting in BIOS. The 7600X has all cores to -30 and the 7700X has -20 on all cores. Both also have a temp limit of 90 degrees Celcius and a max 88W setting (PPT in bios). The best way to tweak your cores with curve optimiser is leave everything at defaul the first time, boot to Windows, then use Ryzen Master to test each core individually and see how much each core can be tweaked via curve optimiser.

    i currently have this card in the white Hyte Revolt 3 case and it looks amazing in the vertical position in that case but i do need to go even smaller with the case. Ive been looking for weeks for the perfect case and now I think i just found it. I cant believe the GPU fit so snug or at all for that matter.

    7700X might be a little overkill for the RX 7600 you could save some money and probably wouldn’t even have much (if any) difference in performance using a Ryzen 5 7600

    There's a 7600 XT coming that has TWICE the VRAM...16GB. May be worth waiting for any sales on the current 7600 or to scoop the new card.

      When I did the math it was over 1.1k so not really budget. Also he didn't even use storage since the build is just scrapped together for views then torn apart after.

    Watching ETAPrime flip the ram 3 times during installation.
    Relatable! Usual installation wizardry. Same with USB ports. You just need to be faster than the slot messing with you. =P

    Hey man! Have you ever tried using LP server fans for the cpu and air intake? I work around a lot of servers and while loud, they provide insane performance. I would love to know if using low profile, or really any server fans would be worth it or at minimum beat out regular case fans in such a tiny case. I know it would DEFINITELY not be for your average person, but if you want a tiny build but lots of performance and are able to sacrifice a drawer or closet space to put it in I think it would be worth investigating.

    Too bad they don't have 7800xt graphic card low profile and put that in there instead of the 7600. Looks like a cute but powerful Lunch Box Gaming PC. On Black Friday sale I got myself an ATX system.... 7800x3d with 7800xt...pretty good solid 1440p and light 4k....
