That kind of spying and pressuring would make me really angry as a client. How can they assume I'm free at that time?! Or that I want to come back there at all?

You all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can offer me!

As a client it would piss me off if a salon professional told me they took the liberty to prebook my next appointment!
I don't like being manipulated for the obvious reason, and that is to make a blessed buck for the greedy sociopathic salon owners!

Brielle, I agree with you completely! I had a stylist that would re-book clients automatically, and she had the highest "no show" percentage! I think the conversation needs to happen prior to re-booking. The stylist can have the conversation with you while you are processing, so you can still avoid the front desk "hassle" ... but I view the client/stylist relationship as a collaboration toward a goal. I think this tip is for the stylist that is scared to have the conversation.

If trying to help a client to look their best by rebooking them, is considered greedy and sociopathic in your eyes, then you are not the sort of client I would want in my salon.

+Brielle Lively Exactly. I hate pushy people trying to re-book me. It makes me angry and I do not feel like going to that salon again. I never know when I will be available and I like to call whenever I feel like coming in.

Rae Sotnik They have a video on pre-booking where it talks about informing the client on the maintenance required to maintain a certain look throughout the service. They even suggest creating a VIP list for clients who are not yet comfortable with the idea of pre-booking.

This is so stupid. I would hate if the salon would re-book my appointment. I am not coming to your salon again, if you keep doing this. I dislike pushy people trying to almost force in to booking your next appointment.
