I learn so much watching you two talk about your thought process of how you do things. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and taking the time it takes to make these videos.

I am glad to see Accuquilt is partnering with you! I keep waiting for them to realize how stale all their videos are! It takes some magic to sell stuff without coming off as just interested in the sale. I watched martha stewart demonstrate her products but you never felt the hard sell. I would love to see you travel and meet up with groups who need to conquer mountains of scrap fabrics and show the process of ironing it all and cutting it all into shapes. Show the before and after. I also think a great product would be dies that coordinate with paper patterns. The dies could cut the right shapes for using in foundation paper piecing. g.

I met a guy from another quilting company and he said he did not know anything about sewing when he interviewed for the job, but was an artist type. He was an awesome presenter and said his boss knew he could teach all the technical and quilting stuff but they cannot “teach” that magic that some people either have or do not have. It seems like accuquilt relies on presenters who are “quilting experts” … but they lack whatever magic YOU clearly have to present information while demonstrating the products in an interesting and personable way. I love the products but do not feel they have marketing figured out. I would attend a “retreat” sponsored by Accuquilt and think it would make good videos to show piles of scraps being worked…which might lead to someone creating containers shaped to hold our little shapes sp they do not get all wrinkled and frayed . I can visualize a deli container but made to store cut shapes of fabric.
