Gonna see these guys again in Hamburg mid of November! But I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed when meeting them at the Meet and Greet at Wacken this year. When meeting with Death Angel they made jokes and really took their time to talk to their fans and everything, while Stratovarious, and I really looked forward to meeting the first metal band I ever listened to and that basically brought me into metal to begin with, just were like. "Yeah, here's your autograph card, now stop bothering us." Still, their new Album was a must have for me and I don't regret getting it.
well, I stop listening to Stratovarius on elements pt1 (started on Episode release), of course this guitarrist is a kind of genius kid to substitute Tolkki, and the bassist of course is a big Cliff Burton fan, what is very cool! (fun fact, Porra is a badword here in Brazil haha). I guess this song is weak, I dont know, didn't like it, but I'll give a chance to this Stratovarius north star logo and listen to the albums. \,,/
I have a theory. Mathias has lost a lot of 12KHz+ hearing sensitivity, due to loud noise exposure. His mixing jobs all have a lot of high frequencies and very little 400 below...
