Unbreakable is one of the best songs the band has ever composed. Here you can hear the bass guitar very good. Lauri is one of the best metal bass players, just listen to his lines during the guitar solo and in Hunting High and Low....
Honestly he sang pretty bad here ngl. But his voice is slowly coming to an end, pity I never got the chance to see them live in their prime or even the past years. I suppose I will only remain with the live videos and memories of a godly voice up till 2010

i had the chance to watch them live last sunday on The Metal Fest Chile 2023, and i haven't heard Stratovarius since my high school days, nearly 20 years ago, since i lean more to the thrash side of metal. Once they got into the stage, i had real goosebumps, they sound just how i remember them, when a friend of mine recorded on tape a compilation of songs and i nearly wore it off from replaying Speed of light, Father Time and Holy Solos so many times. I had a great time and they still sound perfect in live performances. So many memories 😄
Was a really nice show. What I like about them on stage is, that they do not hide their drummer somewhere in the background but bring him forwards. I think from the whole stage they only used the forward 30% or so.😂
Listening to Hunting High And Low literally two weeks after I signed my house scriptures was an epic win... I cried the shit out of me bc I know all the crap I was going through and that was my overcome.

It's so inspiring to me how good Timo sounds. He's clearly had lessons or SOMETHING to help get his voice back in shape. I've heard of a food poisoning incident from a while back that caused his voice to sound bad. May also be old age. But he sounds BRILLIANT here. I don't care that Wacken polishes up the performance a little in post, they can only amplify what's already there, and I've heard some BAD performances. Timo killed it here. They ALL did. Stratovarious is the band that never dies or degrades. You never say, 'Gods, I wish they would just retire already. This is getting embarrassing.' Nope. Not like with other bands. Because Stratovarius ALWAYS delivers.

Always a big fan of the golden line up. They’re always gonna be the best. That being said they still play very good today and I truly enjoy this line up.

Kotipelto remains a very likeable vocalist. Stratovarius was the first foreign metal band I saw around the beginning of the 2000s. I still have the shirt from this gig in my hometown very fondly.
I wish stratovarius would tour the US. Maybe not as many as Europe and South America, but many Americans who follow and love the band! Seasons of change is a classic! Black Diamond is equally classic!
