Anybody else here in 2023 still watching this video? I’ve been listening to this song on Spotify every week and watching this video AT LEAST once a month since it was posted. I am seriously so addicted to not only this song itself, but Floor’s version, specifically this performance. It’s phenomenal the way she captivates an audience of this size live and continues to captivate an audience of hundreds of thousands through a recording! Ugh! I can’t get enough.

Showed this to my girlfriend thinking she'd love it. Only to find out she's IN THAT CROWD. She was there for real, long before we met. And a little part of me is so jealous I kinda hate her for it a tiny bit. She told me the story of seeing this live and how it legit brought her to tears. I want to watch to see if I can spot her somewhere but it's impossible to focus on the visuals when my brain can barely process this god tier audio.

I have never gotten emotional while watching a live performance, until this woman opened her mouth. This was the most beautiful performance I have ever seen. Much like the audience, I was instantly drawn to her. Much like she commanded the 82,000+ people there, I too fell in line. You don't see very many moments like this, so this is something that will always remain legendary
Definetly legendary and i was fortunate enough to be there having seen both Tarja and Anette this was my first time seeing Floor in Nightwish and by god i was euphoric. Floors voice, the production, the tightness of the band it was best live performance ive ever seen. 9 years later and i still get goosebumps and have been known to cry lol

This entire Wacken 2013 performance shows Floor in absolute and full vocal glory.
She always was and still is supremely good.
But that night she surpassed herself.
This is, hands down, one of the best vocal performances I have ever heard.
I believe she is in her later vocal prime currently, her absolute peak being roughly 2010-2013, and now still being VERY far away from vocal decline.
Imagine being in your later vocal prime and still being better than 99,9% of singers will ever be on their best day.
Also, her vocal prime is pretty prolonged compared to most other singers.
She is also so consistent in her singing.
When this show took place, she already was a performing singer for over 15 years.
Now this show is almost a decade old. And she still is amazing.
That is very impressive. She kept getting better consistently for a long time,
she prolongs her vocal prime to well over a decade, more like 15 years, and her vocal decline (which will happen. it happens to every single singer eventually. It is natural and inevitable.)

I never was so impressed and in awe by any other contemporary singer.
Her range, breath support, breath control, coordination, intonation, projection, versatility, expression, diction, longevity, efficiency, consistency, vocal control, stage presence, charisma, authenticity, crowd interaction, every aspect you could think of, she does it perfectly. Just admirable.
Tuomas as a composer and Floor as a singer are a match made in heaven. Also the fact that Floor gathered skill and experience for 15 years before she joined Nightwish was very important for this combination to become this amazing.
And even though Nightwish with Floor as a singer gave countless brilliant performances and even though this entire Wacken 2013 show was as good as live music can possibly get,
this particular song, Ghost Love Score at Wacken 2013, is probably the most glorious and elevating and overwhelming moment she as a singer and this entire band will ever have given to the world. I will never get tired of listening to this. Never. I vividly remember how I saw this video for the first time. And how overwhelmed and captivated I was.

There are controversies....
The best point you made here was about Floor's consistency. There are videos on youtube which compile her performances, especially the 'floorgasm' and she hits the exact same tone on the same note so perfectly that when the videos are put together it sounds like a choir of the same person. She does not vary, she hits the notes as intended perfectly EVERY TIME.

Not sure if its just me but I feel her decline is already happening, particularly for her power on high notes and her vocal durability. Occasionally I could feel her intentionally reserving energy and using a thinner voice on notes that I thought should be more explosive. But still it is reasonable as she is already in her 40s and she is still the best female singer I have seen
This concert and this song in particular has to be one of the best live performances of all time! I have watched this countless times over the years and every now and again when I'm in the mood for some Nightwish I find myself back at this clip, and even though I'm a grown ass man I'm still usually in tears at the end. Not because I'm sad but just because I can't handle how crazy powerful this performance is!

Floors vocals made history that night 🤩 Her voice is out of this world ❤️
I am 60. Few weeks ago I did not even know that group named Nighwish even exist. Now I am fan for this group forever. I bump it on RUclips on them via Natalia Tsarikova. Then I listen (and watch too) allmost all songs. This one is best made and performed. This song is made for history and eternity. Ghost love score is same rank as Bohemian Rapsody on Wembley. Maybe even better. To describe voice and performing of Floor is impossible. Until now it does not exist words to do it. All team was perfect on Wacken. All songs are performed extraordinary. I hope once I will go on their concert to feel that energy. Now I listen them every day. EVERY DAY.

When Floor reaches “My fall…” it’s like flying. I can’t explain it any other way.

@@Imasasquatch She didn't try out, she was asked to fill in within 48 hours. And Tuomas asked her because he already knew her. About the only reason she didn't replace Tarja directly was because Tuomas didn't want to be the one responsible for breaking up After Forever.

Floor Jansen has to be one of the best female vocalists on the planet today!! Her range, power, diversity, emotion, techniques and sheer talent are second to none!!
Agreed. I first heard Nightwish around 2007. I liked the songs but couldn't take to Tarja's vocal. Discovered them again mid 2022 and could not believe Floor's vocals. The power, tone and range are unlike anything I have heard, not least is her ability to switch between operatic and rock voices, sometimes mid sentence. And it's not just the singing, but her stage presence. I like Annette's voice on Imaginaeum, but Floor is in a different league, and that is no disrespect to Annette, just my opinion on how great Floor is; her voice is a gift to the world.

I've always been a fan of Tarja, but Floor completely stole my heart with this version. You're absolutely amazing live and more so, you don't look like you're in pain while singing live like so many other female vocalists do when live. Much respect Floor! I like this version as well as Tarja's 2005 live. I lean a little bit more to Tarja's
Tarja's version is great, but Floor brings a bit more power into this songs. Although first low part here was a bit weird, but then Floor just made this into her song.
Don't get me wrong, Tarja's concert version is great but Floor right here gave an amazing performance.
What gets me every time is that cheer of instant recognition when the song starts.

The musicians in this band are the best of the best, but when she joined, it took it to another level!! They are up there with Emerson lake, Beatles for me! I hold my breath every time I see this video. And every live performance is the same. It shows how good they are when live is better than studio 🎙
My favorite version of Ghost Love score. I've always thought it was a beautiful song. Tuomas writes such beautiful music, really a great talent! There was something magical about this whole concert. The sound is perfect, the band tight as ever and Floor really put her stamp on the music and was embraced by many. What I love about this version is the way Floor uses her voice: very diverse, which fits the song beautifully and then that end note! As far as I'm concerned, the best and most beautiful of which there is a professional live recording. The way "for" sounds here gives me so many goosebumps. Also my favorite ending in terms of melody (that can differ per performance). What I regret is that Floor no longer sings "Take me, cure me, kill me, bring me home" etc in the aggressive operatic way as on this version and the Tampere 2015 version. I think that fits that part really well, better than the more softer way she started singing it later where the vocals get drowned out by the music. I think that aggressive operatic way is great and very powerful. And lets not forget Emmpu's solo! Like all his other solos this one is beautiful and recognizabl!

I am so happy that Floor is in the band. I talked to her in Toulouse, France, after a gig of After Forever in 2004. I asked her if she had a coach vocal while she was eating an apple. She said no and smiled to me. Floor, you look great and your voice is still powerful. Take care.

Someone once said in a comment "She sings to your soul" That in my opinion is the most appropriate description of Floor's uncanny ability to move the listener into a high state of emotion.

Waken 2013 - the epitome of Nightwish performance, the complete band, from Floor to drummer. This is Nightwish, this is their legacy. The height of their performance that will never be reproduced. This is my opinion. I am 73 and I have seen and heard the best. They are up with the very best. Floor oh Floor, you have bound this band into what will be only surpassed with great difficulty an musicians. I love you all.
OMG , this song!!! It's a solid gut punch of a track. And those last notes Floor hits make me cry without fail EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!! It's like she's hitting right in the centre of my soul. These guys are absolutely, without a doubt my most favorite band of all time.
I have probably watched Floor sing this song like twelve times between this video and the one from Argentina and I get literal chills through my whole body every time she hits that last note. They could have found nobody better to be the new singer for this band outside of Tarja herself. And even then I'm still more pumped to hear what stuff they'll produce with her fronting this band.

Tarja will always be better when it comes to this song. Her voice MADE this song what it is, and her voice doesn't sound strained on the first verse. Just saying.

@@AH-auDHD I actually *really* like Floor's "revamping" (Ha) of GLS, both beginning, middle, and end; I just wish the last note wasn't a belt, and don't get why people have absolutely lost their shit over it. But Tarja's "End of An Era" GLS is still the best to me. So gothic and regal. 😍

I have just started my discovery of nightwish over the last month or so and I am absolutely enamored with this band. I don't think I can say anything about floor Jansen that hasn't been said other than she is the best female vocalist of any musical genre that I've ever seen. But the overall composition execution and production of this band as a whole is God level. What an incredibly talented and dedicated group of musicians that just work so well together. It's a whole different level of musicianship. And hats off to the crew as well. You don't look and sound that good without a lot of equally dedicated people behind the scenes making it happen. I had to make room on my bucket list to include seeing a nightwish show before I croak.

From all Ghost Love Score live versions, I think this is the best. Floor's voice is brilliant and all seems to be perfect. This is "the one" version, were everything harmonizes perfectly... EPIC! I absolutely love it!
To this day, I hardly can comprehend how a live show could have been so perfect from beginning to end. There must have been something in the air that night. Unexplainable.
