How is Chesterfield different from Wildwood?? They’re both suburbs in St. Louis, Missouri but they have different lifestyles. Today we’re talking all about how they compare.
Wildwood, MO is out west in St. Louis county and offers a very rural and woodsy feel with tons of trees, parks, and outdoor space. Chesterfield is an area 30 mins outside St. Louis right next to Wildwood and is much more suburban with tons of shopping and commercial areas.
They both have similar school districts and home prices, but there’s a ton to choose from in both cities! It really depends on your own lifestyle preferences and where you’d rather live in St. Louis.

Chesterfield and Wildwood are very beautiful. The Chesterfield neighborhood in Springfield MO is beautiful too . Frontenc, Huntleigh & Town and Country MO they are exquisite estates . Dexter Lombardo out 🤠
Actually my friend Missouri does have Mountains they're called the St.Francious Mountains ⛰ between Iron County and Reynolds County Missouri and the highest point in Missouri is Taum Saulk Mountain coming in at 1,772 above sea level which doesn't sound very high for some people but it's very rugged right in the Ozarks.
Gumbo is the valley. I was a teenager in the 70’s. Kids would race in Gumbo. There was Orville and Wilber’s Pizza that served beer to teens. It’s still there another name now.
Lol..I lived in Clarkson Crossing in Chesterfield when I was little and my HS boyfriend lived off Hwy 109 in a huge equestrian style house
The best part about Wildwood Missouri is that its located in the Ozark region of St.Louis County brother.

I've heard of Benbush, but I thought it was part of Creve Coeur ( I used to do a lot of map searching on Chesterfield and Creve Coeur).
Why are major West St. Louis suburbs like Chesterfield and Wildwood so much less in population compared to a suburb like Carmel which is in Indianapolis? What is the land area of a Chesterfield compared to a Carmel, Indiana ?

Those area like Gumbo Flats was an area of Chesterfield before the area was developed.
Yeah I had to look it up to realize it's not a residential neighborhood I didn't know it's what the modern day valley is
I grew up in St. Louis Co, left in 1984. Never heard of Wildwood! I think it was uninhabited then.

Missouri is not mainly flat as you stated. The Ozark Mountain Range is a legitimate Mountain range (I've red that its one of the oldest Mountain Ranges in the US.
Gumbo is a real thing. It has a cemetery and it’s next to the only historical black community in west county. Look it up.
