This is how every police officer should be. He treated with kindness and respect despite the situation. And I think because of his kindness and patience, she was so cooperative and did as she was told without putting up a fight.
This cop is amazing. This video should be used as training for the standard protocol. He was effective, extremely good with this girl. He did his job efficiently without giving her a break but still treated her with empathy, respect. We need more cops like him that treat ppl like human beings rather than that attitude of condescending superiority and like everyone out there is a threat. I hope whoever this officer is that he was given positive feedback for this encounter. Great job, officer!
Helps that she wasn't screaming like a lunatic and fighting with him. It's much easier to be civil to a person that is not calling you nasty names. That said he seems really good at his job.
