- Felicia Franklin, a Georgia lawmaker and former vice chairman of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, found herself at the center of a controversial incident that was captured on police body camera footage. The video shows Franklin engaged in a heated altercation with police officers outside a sports bar, where they allegedly found her in a state of intoxication. The confrontation escalated, leading to a physical struggle between Franklin and the officers on the scene.

In the aftermath of the incident, Felicia Franklin has come forward with claims that she was drugged prior to her encounter with the police. She maintains that her impaired state was not due to voluntary alcohol consumption, but rather the result of someone surreptitiously spiking her drink. As a consequence of the incident and the subsequent public scrutiny, Franklin was terminated from her position as vice chairman of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. In response, she has announced her intention to file a lawsuit against Clayton County, alleging wrongful termination and seeking to clear her name. I’ve been following this woman as she was being paid 279,00 a year. Taking vacations, catering for the lavish parties etc. all on the taxpayer’s dime. She refused to resign. @@attiliobociccio6963 I am not critical of the paramedic. He tried every reasonable approach. Someone in such an altered state must be restrained and taken in to detox. I would not have tried to reason with her for so long and I think some gentlemen at the scene made the delay worse. I think the police could have coordinated better with the EMS to have the woman taken to the ER sooner but it's easier said than done.

It doesn't matter what she drank or took. This is her true self. She is out of control and a complete mess. This cuts to the very core of who she truly is, drunk, high, or sober. Her attitude and the way she thinks and conducts herself when she is sober is disturbing.
Not always true. I have been sober 7 years and have never once been volient since. When I took certain drugs it made me volient. But that's not who I am. Everyone is different.
