Her first set of attorneys requested the competency evaluation before she told her second set of attorneys that she wanted to represent herself. Her second set is trying to get the evaluation taken off the table, but judge Beresky wants it to happen if she's going to represent herself.
Evev if she's deemed able to stand trial I don't think she's capable of represent herself. She's a hair dresser and she believes she was married to Moroni.😮

I just cannot imagine how Lori could be deamed competent. That being said, Lori knows how to manipulate the people she wants to manipulate. Yet, if her competency tests are done by a competent Neuropsycho-evaluator/Neuropsychologist, then chances are, that she'll be properly evaluated! Thoughts, anyone!?!

Here's what I don't understand about promoting Colby: he admitted to r@ping his wife. Is that just a youthful "whoopsie" or something? It's my understanding that she's chosen not press charges and that they were dismissed without prejudice, which means they can bring the charges as long as the statute of limitations doesn't kick in. If they do that (which looks like they won't be) will you and Hidden True Crime and others decide to acknowledge his crime? Is that all it is? What the law says whether we condemn r@pe? She called the police and he admitted what he had done to them. There's a record. How do you think it feels to her and other r@pe survivors every time the lionization of Colby as the brave survivor/victim is promoted? The message his young wife is getting is that r@pe can be overlooked if it's your husband and he says he's sorry. Why would she ever report it again, if it were to happen again? You're glossing over this, like the Mormon Church does all the time in cases of SA. This must be some toxic leftover from being raised in a patriarchal religion that tells women they don't matter. Please stand up for the real victims, not the perpetrators, whether LE is covering it up or not.

I don’t feel like it’s my place to comment when I don’t have all of the information. Generally speaking, the victim’s experience needs to be acknowledged. In this case, his wife has chosen not to press charges and that’s her choice. I’m not going to be the one to tell her what to do, especially since she has not asked me. And we don’t know the conversations that have happened between the two of them so I consider it a private matter. Regardless of this particular situation, @Colbyjryan is a brave survivor of his own trauma and he is speaking about it publicly so I want to support him in that. As a survivor of SA myself, how it makes me feel is that survivors get to be the ones to tell their stories and how they feel about what they’ve been through so it is not for me to comment on beyond what I’ve said.
