  • Crazy emulation power from such a small metal box. Not only will this play loads of PS3 titles, it plays every PS2 title, most of which are upscaled from at least 2X resolution.

Dayum that's a huge leap in emulation, although PS3 still have issues with some of the games that you played, graphical glitches and screen tearing. Still awesome to see.

Exactly, but I am pushing it to its limit with that PS3 selection . Games that would have liquified the cores of previous builds 🤣

Just bought one these from Humanoid machines. I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. Plays brilliant, well worth the money.

I picked up a M70q for about $200 with a i3-10100T which is about half the performance as the i5-11400T and it performs pretty well on its own merits. No fancy changing of the internal resolutions of the cores though.

I had a Lenovo Tiny M720q with an i5 9500T and had lag on Gamecube, PS2, PSP and even PS1 with DuckStation on original resolutions. Some days ago I had the opportunity to get one of these very cheap with 16GB of RAM 3200Mhz DualChannel and 256GB NVMe and it's a great improvement over the other model with 9500t, I sold the M720q and recover the money I paid for my M70q and even gain some extra cash, I'm very happy:)

Sounds to me there was an initial instillation problem that caused your issues. A 9500T should fly with ps2, GameCube etc. PS1 easily 5x and more. Happy ending though 😃

@@HumanoidMachines Thank you, need to say the Lag was with emulators running on Windows 10 Pro and I made two reinstallations of the system, I ended installing batocera and on my tests seems to run fine Dolphin on OG resolution but I didn't used too much Batocera because I don't know how to use it correctly.

    Nice.
Where this one is a noticeable performance increase is obviously PS3 titles.
But for that, you gotta pay for it.So all depends on how much you wanna spend on building your 'retro' game machine.
A big plus of the Tiny PC's is you can get cheaper/older ones that are still very capable.
But its good to have options 😁

That’s what I love about the mini PC’s… They’re all capable of good performance from PS2 upward. An older 4th gen i3 can play loads of PS2, Xbox and GameCube. Raspberry Pi’s and Androids can’t touch these 😁

V.Cool system Adrian. Did you say this is expensive 🤔🤔

    • @HumanoidMachines

Hey Steve, yes it cost me some, lol. It’s the M70q 2nd gen, 2021 so it’s a current model
      I also forgot to mention there’s a 256Gb M1 ssd sat in it. 😁

As of right now what is your favorite small PC for emulation?

    • @HumanoidMachines
      @HumanoidMachines  2 года назад +1

This one for sure because of the power, I also like the Optiplex 3070, same reason. Out of the older machines the HP G2 or G3 series are great

Is it worth buying for ps2? Someone is selling one for $150 bucks with 8gb ram 500gb hdd 1.30ghz

    • @HumanoidMachines

Absolutely, it has ps2 nailed. Btw, it turbo boosts way faster than 1.3ghz

@@angelsilveren8782 Turbo mode is usually in advance settings, cpu… and is just an option of enable or disable. I think by default it is already enabled 👍
