Dude. I caught at the end you said you can customize the soup to anyway you like I really needed to hear that. I always think I have to make the soups or meals for different cuisines specific to traditional recipes, but I happen to like a lot of ginger in everything -sometimes I even put miso paste because I love the flavor and I’m accustomed to it. Rock on. You two make a great team. ❤❤
I’ve never tried Chinese egg drop soup before. My grandma taught me how to make an Eastern European version that is soooo comforting in cooler weather! Now I can add Flo’s egg drop soup to my repertoire and finally sample a luscious-looking new egg drop soup. Dude definitely is a great salesman, BTW! Happy Weekend! TFS, Sharon♥️🤗🍜🥣
Thanks so much for this variation of egg drop soup. It reminds me of an aunt who made a huge pot for me years ago. It was refrigerated, and I dined on it for a week, and it was good to the last drop 😊 Nice memory, great soup, I can't wait to try and make this version of it.
I can't wait to try this, I just make the standard egg drop with the egg ribbons and chicken broth ( it's one of my favorites). This one is heartier. Thank you for this recipe. Never would have thought of it. Tou and Dude have a great week ❤
Utterly, drop-jaw delicious. Followed the recipe with substituting broccoli cuts. Fresh ground white pepper and the chili crisp oil. So happy. I love it spicy, too! Thank you both. It’s a meal! ❤️
Oooh, that looks so yummy Flo! Looking forward to a cooler day to make this. I have a jar of Sambal Oelek in the pantry that I've been afraid to open...looks like this recipe will be perfect to give it a try. Hubby won't eat greens so I'll probably just sub in some thinly sliced celery for the Gai Lan. Thank you and Dude for another wonderful recipe.
Love you two. Your recipes are very good, easy to follow, simple ingredients. Does that green taste like broccoli? My sister loves egg drop soup, we can't get that veg here. I don't think using broccoli would work, too strong of a flavor?? Any suggestions??
I'm upset..just watched two of your "egg-drop" soups. Now I want something I can't find. Very great videos! I have made it but not like this, wow and yes a meal.
My daughter is allergic to pork and my husband doesn't like fish at all. Any suggestions? We love egg drop soup but from a restaurant just doesn't act like a meal. Plz. I love to watch you and your husband. I don't know if I have ever replied to any posts. I jump all around. Thank you for your easy to follow recipes.
People ask me that all the time but I only know the Asian version that is always dark in colour and I assume it’s toasted but the bottle never says. It just says “Pure Sesame Oil”. It’s not like tahini where it specifically says raw and it is definitely more fragrant than tahini. 🤷🏻♀️
Perfect for a soupy kind of day! Happy weekend! 💕🌧
I am so happy to see you again, and I love all your recipes. Everything is easy Peezy.

There's an Italian version of egg drop soup as well. The name translates as "rags".

Hi Flo, as soon as the weather turns cold, this soup wil be on our dining table. Thank you Flo!
I have made your egg drop soup from your cookbook so many times. This will be another one to add to my menu. Thank you ❤
Mmmmm, that looks so delish! God bless you both in your efforts. Thanks, Flo!
Egg drop soup in my mind is with corn. You've opened up my eyes to other possibilities! And Dude, your haircut looks very nice 😊

I think you can use whatever greens you like, I also have to replace it, I'll try with a little bit of thinly cut celery and pak choi🙏🏽
Thanks, Flo! Love to try this! Q: is there a specific reason for not skimming the broth with the pork at the beginning?
I'm upset..just watched two of your "egg-drop" soups. Now I want something I can't find. Very great videos! I have made it but not like this, wow and yes a meal.
Yummy idea ❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
This looks soooo good! Question - can I use spinach for the green leafy vegetable?
Of course!
@@FloLumI always make your West Lake Beef Soup with spinach instead of cilantro.
Hello Flo! Awesome cooking video! Would you like to come to Sweden?

I wouldn't need the bowl because I would eat it directly from the pot. That would be one serving. 😊
I can’t imagine not adding some rice wine vinegar
Thank you Flo. Another great recipe.❤😊
What can you sub for giyling? Sorry for sp
Do you use sesame oil or toasted sesame oil? Is there a difference?

I am allergic to shrimp can I use another type of meat?
🥰
Nice haircut
You don’t need to cook the pork completely because you are adding liquid and you are heating the liquid that would cook the pork🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨😩😩😩😩
DUDE running that handlebar stash looking like Pineapple 🍍 BOB
Looks so delicious
